    I’ve been using my Apollo for just a week and I feel so much more calm than I’ve felt in a long time. Great product!

    I Must first thank you for this most wonderful product. I suffer from PTSD as well as Long Covid Sequelae and your device has changed it all for me. I am not calm, my heart is so calm and steady, I fall asleep without been able to catch mtself, i lay down and Im sleeping. The best way I can describe is Apollo is like having an angel holding your wrist. Again, Thank you for the bottom of my heart. My again calm and just serene heartbeat and calm mind. I have a lot of people to show this incredible gift to.

    A recently bought one of these devices. My review in two words: life changing.

    • @Corteum
      @Corteum 3 года назад +3

      Did you use a device to objectively measure changes in your neuro/physiology/nervous system, or was it a purely subjective observation and you noticed changes? What sort of changes have you noticed so far? Thanks

    • @heminhaw
      @heminhaw 3 года назад +4

      I have one myself. I am not sure what its impact has beenn. I also hve an Oura ring to measure my sleep, heart rate variability etc. I have noticed I am less anxious than I used to be. I have not seen a dramatic change but then I am not 100% sure what to look for either.

    • @Corteum
      @Corteum 3 года назад +2

      @@heminhaw Probably the main things to observe with the Oura ring are increases in deep sleep and REM sleep, recovery index, and your HRV numbers in the 'Take a moment' feature (during amd after using the Apollo).

    • @gordonsavage
      @gordonsavage 3 года назад +4

      @@Corteum Objectively, my HRV number continues to creep up to levels I haven't seen since I started monitoring it. So too with deep sleep.
      More significantly for my particular life, my capacity to engage in intellectually demanding work has increased measurably. I've been working on a project every day since Covid opened up my schedule, and was resigned a few really productive, on good days creative, hours in the morning followed by little more than research, reading and working out for most of the day. I've tried everything to push that ceiling up for a year, but nothing helped. I assumed it was a limit imposed by my age. So I didn't buy the Apollo Neuro for this, there is no fix for age, I bought it because my HRV numbers worried me. I was surprised by the effect of the "Clear and Focused" mode on my work. Best I can quantify it, my peak productive time has increased 2.5x. It's also now available to me throughout the day.
      On the more subjective side: I wake up feeling refreshed instead of tired, my anxiety over the past year finally subsides, and when I wake up at 2 am I fall asleep more easily than I ever have.
      I hope that helps.

    • @Corteum
      @Corteum 3 года назад +4

      @@gordonsavage Wow, very impressive to hear that. Thanks for sharing.
      When you say _"It's also now available to me throughout the day"_ are you saying that the improvement you've seen has now more or less become your default state?
      Yeah definitely HRV is a significant biomarker for health, wellness, and even cognition. There's just no doubt about it (I read the HeartMath research). It's really just a question of finding more effective ways to improve HRV, since breathing alone isn't always effective. Also, I've seen other gadgets claim they can improve it but it's simply not the case (e.g. Sensate Pebble). Hopefully the guys at Apollo are also cotinuing their research and experiments to find ways to improve it even further. So good to hear you're benefitting from it, though. I think it's a small price to pay for such an improvement in quality of life. ❤️

    I am wondering what happens if you stop using Apollo after experiencing a positive effect over time. Like, does the body learn enough to eventually not need it, or would gains go away without continued use?

    I have an almost (April) 30 year old, very high functioning autistic daughter. She had heart surgery at 6 weeks (PDA ligation) and still has an innocent murmur. Since moving to independent living she has gained a significant amount of weight because she is choosing her own foods (we are working on remade meals to help alleviate this issue). She also has high blood pressure and a lot of anxiety. In fact when her anxiety is raally bad she starts having trouble with eropresis and encopresis.(sp?) that is typically under control now. Do you think she could be helped by having a tool like this, if I helped her set it up schedule-wise until she can? She is doing pretty well, but I think we need to get her anxiety under control to help with her other issues. Are there contraindications for anyone with heart murmurs or high blood pressure?

    How tight do you wear the device?

    • @ApolloNeuroscience
      @ApolloNeuroscience  3 года назад

      We recommend wearing it so that it doesn't move around and feels comfortable. It can be worn over a sock or thin sleeve if that's more comfortable.

    How is this working? My thinking is that 99.99 % of Illness are caused by Stress and Anxiety, therefore Apollo helps with the whole body wellbeing. 😀

    • @ApolloNeuroscience
      @ApolloNeuroscience  2 года назад +1

      Hi Xiomara, thanks for your interest in Apollo! Apollo trains your nervous system to calm down faster and recover from stress more quickly. In both clinical trials and real-world experience, we consistently see Apollo improving the body's resilience to stress, enabling sleep, focus, recovery, and more.
      Positive improvements have been reported in users with chronic conditions worsened by stress, including mood, sleep quality, focus, energy, motivation, and chronic pain.

    Secondly, it would be great if you could publish more recent results of said studies.
    Nest question: how does a vibration on your wrist or ankle feel like a human hug?
    Finally, any thoughts on what this thing does for athletic performance? I’m a big golfer and just wondering
