I love the way you've gone about learning to write a novel with all these little things like using other author's routines and taking a class - this is a really cool idea!
For those working a full time job, you can set aside 2 hours a night to write. Then again, I don't have a family. Or, you could do what David Baldachi did - work, go home and spend time with family, then at 10PM, when everyone is sleeping, write for 4 hours. Then again, I don't know how much sleep he was getting.
it's definitely the most relaxed one I've come across so far haha. So many of the others involve waking up super early or just writing for hours on end with no mention of self/mental health care, so it's nice to see one that prioritizes those things.
Such a fun and motivating video. Exactly what I needed to get writing today😍 I think it would be super cool if you did a collab with another authortuber and you guys could switch writing routines for a day😊
This sounds so amazing, congrats on your progress kayla :) Sarah J Maas's routine is a good one regarding on the self-care part of her day. Perhaps i will also try it, to remind myself i need to take care of my body. :) :)
Thank you for doing this!! I totally agree on the "for those of us who have other jobs" front, but this has inspired me to do a little rework of my schedule to incorporate some more tips! I was curious about the workout video did! Was it a youtube one? Thank you again! 😀
Yes! I think it's important to rework/try new scheduling things BUT I ALWAYS want to emphasize that it's damn near impossible for so many people who are just trying to survive, so it's never worth feeling bad if you go without writing for a long time. It was on RUclips yes! It's a 20 minute pilates workout for lower back problems (I was doing it right after I threw out my back haha). It's uploaded by the channel Well+Good :)
This is so amazing. I'm going to try this one out. It's so low stress and seems to focus more on mental and physical self-care. Movie scores are some of my favorites to listen to when writing. Do you have any recommendations of movie scores? I haven't tried out Gravity's soundtrack yet. I'll look into it!
Sarah J. Maas has been out too long for people to not know how to pronounce her last name correctly. I know this video is 2 years old though so maybe you know now? lol

This is the first writing for routine I’ve ever seen that I have actually genuinely wanted to try.

Buffy nerds for the win! Love Sarah J Mass too and want to try and write something to be creative!

Integrating some mediation time into my day from now on! Specially after long days in the office and before getting some writing done on my own time
Meditation is one of the most valuable habits I've developed for productivity!
Love this video! Just subbed, love the ACOTAR jumper 😭💚
Thank you! Your video is indeed insightful:)
Buffy marathon. Awesome.
My favorite writing says are the ones when I basically word vomit and just write down whatever comes to mind haha.

Yes it's such a great author routine! Honestly I love listening to the Avatar movie score, Pirates of the Caribbean, and also Studio Ghibli playlists!
I love your purple/pink shirt at the very end of the video! Where did you get it from?
Thank you!! It's from Urban Outfitters :)
Fun video!!! Have you ever been told that you look like Blake Lively? 🤗
I've gotten Blake Lively and also Jenna Marbles and it's literally the best compliment I could ever ask for 😂

Now try Hunter S. Thompson routine..
How long does she write for?

What podcasts has she been on?
The two I've seen are the 88 Cups of Tea podcast and then the Smart Bitches, Trashy Books podcast
