I had no clue that you had a youtube channel! Back in July I had so many ideas for a novel I wanted to write; and one day my mom and I went to a convention of sorts that one of her author friends was signing books at. There were many other authors there but there was one table that caught my attention was one that had so many books on how to write a compelling novel on it. I skimmed through several books and they made sense they just didn't click with me; except for your Save the Cat! Writes a Novel. I kept coming back to it and I ended up buying it and it has been such a huge help and inspiration to me!

I've taken your courses and still are but I still love to see your videos as great reminders. By the way, thanks to you I actually finished my first draft of the first book, in my first series. 1 1 1 nice number. Thank you for giving me manageable clarity in something so overwhelming.

Great video, kudos! Please, let me add that the best (and, maybe, the *only*) way to create a story is by *writing* it. While you are writing, you are forced to think and *invent* (or "design") the story. When you read your story, you can *evaluate* and *change* it. There isn't any better way to manage such task. So, do not waste your time in other activities. In particular, do not wait for inspiration.

I have a suggestion 4 a a video, webinar, course and book. My suggestion is Learning how to write interconnecting books series and crossover books series. The best example of this is Star Trek which has multiple different interconnecting series and character arcs that span across each series. The best example I can give is the crossover between Star Trek the next generation deep space nine and Voyager. Each of these is syfy and it is the kind of stories I'm attempting to write.

Though you make good points but some of them are really not helpful though, for example the thing about how long can you write not everyone can predict what the length of time their going write for. even if your plotter this difficulty differs based on the person while you base this on yourself which makes it difficult to follow this and understand you points of advice a good example of this is when you recommend people to write in the morning that you seem so hell-bent on telling people to write in morning that you spend more than a entire minute explaining why it’s good for you. please next time you do a guide on writing routines make sure it’s on everyone’s perspective and not just yours.

She makes excellent points that are clear and concise. Of course, you don’t have to do exactly what the video says. Adjust it to fit your schedule. You are in charge of choosing the time of day and the duration of your writing sessions. That was very clear to understand.
