I'm going to pretend I'm as cultured as Kate and didn't just have to Google "what is the Wim Hof method" 😄

Oh! I watched a video called "How boredom leads to greatness." It makes me think of what you said about not being affected by too much content before writing. If we build tolerance for boredom and low to zero stimulation from electronic media, we are more likely to find ourselves motivated to write.

Yayy! Loving this episode! I consider myself as a night owl. I write better in the silence of the night. Unfortunately, that leaves me feeling so tired the next day because I had to get up to take care of my kids and doing house chores. So, I change my routine a little bit today. I tuck myself early last night and get up at 630 am. After my listening to my favourite writer's positive affirmation video by Kate, I would sit down to write. It has been amazing! I am going to try to stick to this morning routine instead. Thanks guys!

In my very limited experience, a bad day's writing is often necessary to get to a better day's writing. It's just part of the process.

I love the one about decluttering the mind. Clarity and organization are essential for a smooth sailing writing experience.

Struggling to write and read at home. So, I am trying to use domain restrictions to keep electronic media at home and keep writing and reading away from home. Unfortunately, if I get into electronic media at start of day, I may not want to leave home. The other problem is that away from home, reading often outcompetes writing and I do not get writing in. I was encouraged by Abbie's vlog where she talked about being flexible with writing: morning, afternoon and night. And on her vlog and this one this one, you mentioned rituals to act as triggers. I notice that doing journal-embedded-narratives can also help me to write, where I write narrative fragments inside journal reflections. Writing pure narrative can be intimidating sometimes. Journal-embedded-narratives make me feel as if I am just talking to myself on the page.

This was great! I really appreciate the last part, that's where I've been struggling with my writing. It was really helpful for me since I'm starting school in a week so I can't really write in the morning like I usually do. Morning is just when I have all the ideas that I've thought of throughout the night. But I think if I can just get like a paragraph down before school, later likely in the evening I might be able to continue where I left off. I don't know if it makes sense to anyone else, but for me, if I can just get the start of the idea I had down, it's easy for me to come back later in the day even though I think my writing is better in the morning. But just getting a little writing done gets me started for a good and productive day and makes me feel good about my self and confident. Unlike if I start out the day checking social media then turn out scrolling and being addicted on my phone for the rest of the day. Again great advice, that I know is going to help a lot of writers including myself. ❤😊👍
Edit: Just realized how long this comment is lol😬

Stop before feeling exhausted is such an important advise. I edit my book at the moment to make it ready for the beta readers. Usually I only rewrite 1 to 2 scenes at maximum, so that I won't over-edit it. Then there's time for a break. Have lunch or do other things and maybe, if I feel creative and motivated enough, I also edit some parts in the evening/night, too. Because the late morning hours and the really late evening hours are my most creative ones. (Sadly that's only possible when I don't have to go to my regular work.) :-)

11:55 It’s cool to hear I’m not the only one omg. Sometimes I wake up around 4AM and can’t sleep and then I just get on the document and say:
“We’ll make the most of this ✍️👁️👄👁️🤳.”
And yes it’s one of the best feelings ever

Hey girls! I just wanted to point out, are you aware that it takes days and days, sometimes longer for your podcasts to appear on Spotify? It is sometimes so sad, I see on here that there is a new episode, but then I can’t listen to it for days! There are multiple reasons why I want to listen to you on Spotify, partly because of their flashback at the end of the year, I want to see how you rank amongst my other podcasts…

      Is that much negativity needed?
Seriously, I mean, why be so triggered over a microphone? People like you are so annoying. You feel powerful behind your keyboard to post ignorance because you're too stupid to do basic research and understand the importance of a quality microphone for a well-made podcast? Embarrassing.
Let's focus on the content of the video rather than minute factors that aren't necessary to steer our attention. Got it?
