Just one month ago today, Ryan Anthony sadly left us. Through his foundation and charity, CancerBlows, he championed music as the way to give people everywhere hope which is now the subject of an upcoming documentary feature film. His final ambitious project was to appeal to musicians everywhere, of every standard, to come together and form this incredible virtual ensemble, playing the stunningly beautiful "Song Of Hope". This was an anthem for Ryan and all he stood for. Now, this video, containing all performers aged 6 to 93 and Grammy-winning recording artists alongside those just beginning their musical journey, will immortalize him and his mission to show Music=Hope.

This is completely incredible! my 10 year old son appears in the video, playing his trumpet. He has disabilities, so this has been amazing for him! To appear in the video. A rare confidence boost for him. Thank you so much everyone for putting this together, we LOVE it 💛

Met Ryan during my post grad at RCM and was so pleased to be able to perform Song of Hope with my good friend Mike Chapple - Ryan heard it and liked it :) What an inspirational trumpet player and man. A terrible loss. RIP.

I’m sorry but Eric mayashiro at 4:14 just ruined it with the jazz high note when literally everyone else is playing with this nice warm sound. It almost sounds like some high school band joke
I've been a musician for over 45 years, listened to this piece at least a dozen times, and still can't come up with the bad "jazz note" to which you're referring. Every note in this recording is beautifully on-point and poignant. To each his (or her) own, but I love every note in this recording, and more importantly, I believe that Ryan does too!
