Just received my first purchase from Cheri's Friday Night Jewelry Matching bags --- shipped so quickly & packed soooo carefully! The items are just as beautiful as they looked on the video. The matching you do is exceptional & I thank you for these pieces... and for all your great videos!
Oh, hi Anne!! I didn’t connect you with your RUclips name. Hi!! 👋🏼 Gosh, you are too generous with the raving review. Lol. (Shhh. I’ll pay you later).😂 All kidding aside, I am so so happy that you love your treats! Thanks for bringing me such joy by being here. ❤
Hi Cheri just got such a kick out of you laughing at your very early videos you did ❤you are so professional now, very confident! Don’t stop, you just keep getting better!!😊
Thank you! I think so too. I’m ashamed that i complained about this second bag at first. It turned out to be another great box. Loving ShopGoodWill. Thanks so much for watching and for taking the time to leave a comment. I really appreciate you. 😊
Hematite was known for being magnetic, I think they have found some way to demagnetise the beads. I hope so because I think it is a lovely stone with a beautiful sheen.
@rikkiharcourt3868, hematite is only slightly magnetic. I have a beautiful hematite necklace I received from a friend and it's scarcely magnetic at all.
@@C.O.G. oh really, how interesting. I have had old hematite beads in my stash and they could pull your arm off. Newer hematite doesn’t seem to do that. I think it is a very beautiful stone, heavy but silky.
Hi, Sherry, I’ve been watching you for a year and I really enjoy your show. A great name for your craft jar is Viv,Vivian,Vic,Victor,Jo,Joanne and Heidi. Also, your voice is very soothing and I like your nails! Thanks Idalie.
Thanks! The problem was that I dropped my list of names and could not find it. Lol Sometimes ppl just draw a blank for the silliest reasons. I know i do. 😂 But thanks for the new names that weren’t on my list. 👍🏼
Hi, Cheri. The blue stones on the malachite necklace at 21:59 are probably azurite, as it is often found growing with malachite and both are copper sulfate gems.
@@BlessedBaubles , yes, please. Thank you and you're always welcome to my information. Azurite is a more delicate gemstone so it actually registers softer (3.5 on the mohs scale ) than glass (5.5 on the mohs scale). By the way, the teardrop stones at 41:30 are probably green turquoise. Very beautiful stones and necklace. With the southwestern design it would be logical for the necklace to have turquoise stones. The magnetic bracelet at 46:48 has magneTITE beads (magnetic iron ore). Magnesite is a magnesium ore and not magnetic. The bracelet at 50:50 looks like moonstone. Opalite is a man-made glass "stone" with a milky appearance throughout it's depths. Moonstones can have variations of translucency and transparency. "Opaline" means having opalescent properties and is not the name of a gemstone. The necklace at 52:10 looks like pink opalite. The "stones" at 58:38 may be pink "imperial" jasper and not "dyed" at all. The pendant at 1:12:28 is called a Petoskey stone. It's a form of fossilized coral that can be found in a variety of colors. The necklace at 1:17:39 has coral and sodalite beads and what appears to be a matte finish, teal dyed magnesite pendant. Sodalite is blue and has a grayish, speckled appearance, whereas lapis is more blue and white.
@@C.O.G.Wow. Thanks! Lol. Could you tell, when I was saying, “magnesite” that I knew it wasn’t right? I almost had it. I am remembering the difference between howlite and magnesite though. You are so sweet. ❤
@@BlessedBaubles , thank you, Cheri. I could tell you were uncertain about which term was right. I think all of us jewelry and gem lovers have had our moments of uncertainty when it comes to identifying stones. I know I have. I even had a mix up or two in my geology class days. I guess that's how we learn, though, so it's all good. I've found my mistakes to be my best teachers. Take care hon and continued happy jewelry hunting. 💙
Really? Well, that’s nice. I’m glad you enjoyed my long windedness. 😂 I sure to have a lot to share with you all. Thank you France. I appreciate the comments so much.
Thank you Lois. I was thinking maybe Howlite too, but it looked different. Check out the comments from C.O.G I think she said it might be pink Jasper or something like that. I probably showed the necklaces too quickly. I was TRYING to move along but there was so much to do. Lol the video still turned out to be 1 and 1/2 hours. 🤭
Thank you. It seems heavier than aluminum. But its not stainless. So you are probably right. Wow. Its a beautiful metal! Is there a reason people don’t use it more often? Is it because its too soft? Always curious.
Hi Blessed baubles. I have a question for u. I have this continuous goldtone chain. It's very long with no clasp. I can wrap it four times around my neck so it's long. It scratches and passes 10k ,14k & 18k but not 22k or platinum. The scratch stays strong but it feels a bit different when I scratch it compared some real 18k or 14 k chains I have. Have u ever come across something like this that tests up to 18k but is actually fake ?? It weights 69.grams. I'm gonna make a little video of it and was wondering what u think about it as I don't drive atm to go to a jeweler who is certified to check it. I have a kee gold and platinum testing machine but the probe is bad and needs replaced or I would have tested it. Just wondering if u have ever heard of this or experienced a chain that test up to 18k but isn't actually real. I got it in a Goodwill finds box that was 17 pounds.
Hi Rock City, Its hard to tell without seeing the piece and its coloring. Sometimes Brass can show through the acid test. The fact that you are saying, "it feels a bit different when I scratch" is a clue that you may be picking up on very well. I think taking it to a jewelry is your best bet. I hope it turns out well for you!
I was just watching info on that the other day and thought I had it all in my brain but… I’ll try again the next time. 😂 There is so much to know and so much to remember. Thank you very much for the help and the comment. Much appreciated.
Hmm, good thinking. But I think Anne Kline is AK. Do you think it looks like a T in the middle? Quite gorgeous, isn’t it? Just one intaglio glass cameo necklace is quite expensive. I’m so curious as the this entire piece. We’ll keep trying. 👍🏼
Lol. No… I turned mine off so you wouldn’t hear it. That’s why I was saying it was getting warm in my place. I do all those things for you all. Lol. I turn off all fans, AC, anything that would make noise. But I heard YOUR AC. 😂 J/k
The earrings? Were they hoops that have disco ball rhinestones on them? If so, they must have looked red on camera but they are definitely a hematite type material. Thanks SO much for the help.
Please research Southwestern styles. Your idea of it is so not right. Also you try to sell things that are broken. look carefully. Be wary of excellent looking imitation malachite. Enjoy your videos. TNX
