Hi Jannette. Thanks for the info on the pearls. I did see that they were expensive. And had this set been in a little better shape, I would have put a better price on them. But they are still really beautiful. I'm so sorry to hear that you've been getting a lot of fake 925 pieces lately!! Oh no!! I think ebay should not let those certain countries sell a ton of jewelry marked 925 when it is not. But... all we can do is sift it out of circulation so others don't get it. Hello Carmelain. Thanks for your thoughtful comment. If a piece is marked 925 then it should be solid sterling silver. Not plated. I did read that plated pieces need a layer of copper, then nickel. So... the faker piece I tested was just as it should be. Plated over those two layers. Thanks a bunch!

Yes, but often solid sterling silver marked 925 can still have a rhodium plating to stop it from tarnishing. Apparently, It’s quite popular these days in jewellery stores so their pieces don’t tarnish whilst in display windows etc.

Hi Jen. The other stone is opaque and tests in the jasper area. So, I'd say its jasper. But thanks for letting me know. The earring is really interesting!! I hope, when I google it, that i find out something about it. Would love to see the one you have.

You just find a way to slowly pop them out. Be careful and wear protective eye cover, ok? Also, if the stones are foil back, you have to inspect the stones to see if the foil back stays with the jewelry piece or stays on the stone. Sometimes its important to keep the foil backing on the stone and sometimes it doesn't matter. I hope that helps. Email me or contact me any time, my friend.

It's just that the pieces toward the end of longer videos tend to not sell as well as some people might not be getting through the whole video. 🤷‍♀️ I thought the Monet pearls were outstanding too! Much bigger pearls than any Monet pearls I've found so far. Nice set of pearls at 30" right? Thanks so much!!

Hi Lori, great question! And there are a few answers on that question because there were a few different claw type clasps in vented. And some were officially called lobster claw while others were not. We have adopted the name, lobster claw clasp, as a general term.
