Your style of filming videos is so close to myownfrontier. Love the points of interest, fun facts and map Breakdowns at the end of each night. And the fact that you do it consistently. Now that Joey’s off RUclips you’ve moved into my #1 spot for backpackers on RUclips. Keep it up!
Thanks for sharing what you love 32. Myownfrontier was a huge inspiration for my channel. The consistency is one of the things I am proud of - except for a short planned break I have posted at least 1 backpacking trip report video per month for nearly 5 years now. More to come!
Thanks Daniel, like I said this was my first visit to that corner as well. I guess there isn’t much reason to go up that way unless you’re specifically heading to see the Gallatin area! RIP Neuse Visor 🙏
Really enjoy your videos and the scenery you film. It makes me feel like I'm on the trip ,too. RIP Layne's Visor, it is tough to lose a favorite piece of gear. Looking forward to your glacier repor!
Thanks Rick, glad that you feel like you're right out there on the adventure! RIP Neuse Visor. I have 3 awesome videos filmed from Glacier that I plan to release this summer while I'm working up there
❤Thanks for taking us along. So this last year you've replaced visor, & shirt; upgraded [lol] gaiters] and now new hikers 😊 I suspect this is just a few gear parts.
Hey, Layne! Finally got time to sit down and watch this one. As usual, another great trip report. Additionally, I really appreciate your response to @RhodySeth about through hiking. I had wondered the same thing and your answer was on point. Besides, the through hikers I've met smelled funny. 😂
I have lots of buddies who thru hike, incredible achievements, not my cup of tea at all. The most politically correct way I can explain it is like this: Do you know how long the average CDT thru-hiker spends in Yellowstone? 2 days. I spent 6 weeks. Do you know how long the average CDT thru-hiker spends in Glacier? 3 days. I spent a month. I enjoy wilderness immersion, building routes, and not seeing people.
Sorry about your visor! That thing's been with you a long time! Nothing better than a broken in hat. Can I mail you a new one? I'll be going to the Neuse sports shop in a couple of weeks!
Thank you Haley, that is a very nice offer! I appreciate it. Fortunately I was at Neuses not too long ago and was able to get a new one. So I'll have a couple videos come out with a different visor but then it'll be back to business
Long live Neuse Visor 🕊️ Gone but not forgotten
The park punished you for your littering ways by sending mice to torment you. Circle of life.
Daggum mice!
RIP Neuse Visor! Thanks for the great video!
RIP 🙏 Thanks Michael! I’m releasing a string of Yellowstone vids to get you excited for your visit
@@LayneComfort I appreciate that! And your efforts are definitely working! I'm pumped!
Heck yeah man!

You've got me hooked Layne
Thanks Dave, glad to share with you
Eternal rest grant unto the Visor, O Lord, and may perpetual light shine upon it!
Thank you Jason 🙏 It will bask in the Yellowstone light until the end of time
Great video. I have never been to that (very large) corner of the Park, so it was enjoyable to see it vicariously through your eyes. RIP to the Visor.

Thanks for the musical tribute Scott 🙏 RIP Neuse Visor

Hey PopPop, glad you got the time to watch! I certainly can’t throw any stones about smelling funny in this glass house that I reside in while hiking😅
simsalabim, Dude, condolences for the loss of your visor I know it had sentimental value and big medicine, hope I end up in a place as beautiful
Thanks dude 🙏 May all of our resting places be as beautiful as the visor’s
Another fantastic trip. Footprints a' plenty. You ever think about thru-hiking? Probably too many people to encounter, ammirite?

@@LayneComfort I can dig it.
No offense to any thru-hikers, shouts out to them crushing those miles 🤙

Good one 33! Nice reference for the North Carolinians. RIP 🙏
