- This is the full length trip report with natural sounds and on-trail commentary from a 9-day backpacking adventure that I took to Glacier National Park in August 2023.
Starting in Many Glacier the route totaled around 93 miles. My campsites were POI, GAB, GLF, KOO, BRO, GOA, FIF & GRN.

Great video, many thanks.
"Awesome" and "gorgeous" are inadequate to describe the beauty you are sharing, Son, but they are the best I have. Thanks as always for sharing your adventures!
Thanks Dad, glad you guys got to see Glacier!
Very beautiful. Thank you for sharing your adventure. I always look forward to your videos.
Thanks CM I hope your adventures are going well also
Incredible views and great camp facts!
The views in Glacier are tough to beat anywhere!
Picks the longest bridge of the trip for a walk by. Oddly enough, no walk by on the swaying bridge. Just messin' with ya. Stupendous job. You're getting more permits. Can we look forward to more videos of Glacier? Hope so. As always, thanks so much!
Yes sir, more videos from Glacier on the way! The next one will peer into a much different section of the park in the southern reaches
Okay, okay, you got me. Glacier is on my list now.....😅
Keep up the exploring man! Glacier is a list-worthy place for sure
What a trip Layne. Finally recognized an area when you reached Goat Haunt (we visited by boat). What happened with the boaters and the bear? It's definitely interesting how low you are elevation-wise much of the time. The peaks are for the scramblers. Very cool seeing so much of Glacier that we didn't see as tourists.
Have you considered adding chapters for long videos like this? Looking forward to the next one!
The bear left when the boat approached, way too many people for it. Good idea on the chapters I will have to look into that! Thank you Seth
93 miles! At first I was thinking "I wonder why he didn't walk over to hole in the wall to check it out" but I probably wouldn't be adding much additional mileage to a 93 mile hike either
That and, I like to save some things so I’m “forced” to return to a location. Definitely want to make it up to Hole in the Wall
