the wee schoolboy character dancing on the chair is actually Scotlands 1st minister
LOL at 2:04 david tennant in his kilt hes a big fan of the proclaimers. and the song 500 miles he did a special video with the proclaimers as dr who a while back .including all of the production team. Well worth a watch.
I remember watching this when it aired. There were a few of the old school comedians and famous people in the crowd . Sadly many of them are gone now.
….when I hear it on the radio, I still sing and shout out “….Bobby Davro…Bobby Davro….”:I just can’t help myself! 😂
Oh yes, it was the real Proclaimers! A really party song and well done to them to support a great charity. 😂👍🐿🏴
As others have said, the crowd is full of veteran entertainers and celebrities, many of whom are now dead. First appearing at 1:34 are the Krankies - real names Ian and Jeanette Tough - a married couple who have worked as a comedy double-act since the 1970s and are still working. The character of Jimmy Krankie (played by Jeanette) is a mischievous and cheeky schoolboy, who jokes about with his father (played by Ian).
🐿SQUIRREL: WTH, BEZZARE! 👀👀👀
So many of the celebs now RIP :(
Spotting the stars in there was great, prob you wouldn't no many , Dr who was in there lol
Watching this as an adult and realising the only real celebrity is David Tennant and he didn’t even get to see the Proclaimers as they were all filmed separately 😂 So much fun
Must beautiful video I’ve ever seen and heard ❤❤️🔥❤️🩹💞💗💗
Brilliant!! I watched this when it first aired, it never gets old.👍 btw, yes they where the real Proclaimers❤
So many faces from my childhood 😢
Thanks for doing this Squirrel, it was a bit like the who's who from yester year and who is no longer with us. Some of them classic comedians. comedy duos, some from soaps, children's TV, Breakfast TV of the 80's/90's, Quiz show hosts (Dusty Bin there) Radio DJ's, a few random celeb and yes they are the real Proclaimers....not sure if they could still walk all those miles though!! 😀
Quality this was 😂😂😂😂
Theres so many British personalities sadly no longer with us but their not really as this shows. I did notice Jasper carrott who is with us I'm glad to say. React to his mole 🇬🇧😊🤗🙂
Wooo that was great 👍🏼 I very much enjoyed it 😹😂🐿✨
so many famous faces there
RIP Kathy Staff, Keith Chegwin, Bobby Ball, David Bellamy, June Whitfield, Roy Walker, Terry Nutkin, Eddie Large... and probably a few others I didn't recognise. Who were the three people at 3:14? I had a feeling I ought to recognise them.
Rod, Jane and Freddy from Rainbow?
I don't think anyone's told Roy Walker that he's dead yet, I'll let you do that one ;)

Yay, one of Peter Kay's charity songs I recommended back when you watched Ali G interviewing the Beckhams over on your other channel. Don't forget to to check out Kay's other songs '(Is This The Way To) Amarillo' with original singer Tony Christie, which features a few faces you will be familiar with in the video, and 'Peter Kay's All Star Band' for Children In Need which is one to watch with the younger Squirrels.
So many pages I tried to see if this came through before. Thank You
Definitely the Amarillo. Ronnie C is in it.
@@Bestmusicreactions Squirrels always have a lot of foraging to do. 🙂
….and as so many have already commented…it’s very sad to see so many “famous faces” who are no longer with us 😢😢 - awww.. memories of those entertainers and personalities .. “preserved forever in a Comic Relief vid” 🥺
Am I the only one who are looking at the TV stars in the crowd and says he's dead, she's dead is he still around?
Ah but we still have Benny from Crossroads...just looked on Wiki and he is now 75. Wonder how Miss Dianne is doing these days? 😃
Can you turn the volume up please of the videos you are watching.
The Proclaimers tunes are Ace at Scottish National Sporting events They are Edinburgh Hibernian Football Clubs supporters (booo I hear 😱🤣) thousands of Hibs fans singing Proclaimers song, Sunshine on Leith at the national stadium is sometimes worth seeing after they won a Cup Final
I made it to the end 👍👍😁😁🖖😉
that was when we could have a laugh and enjoy things with a-z list celebs all come together for fun and no political nonsense just to make the world smile for a bit it would never be allowed to happen now
You should do runrig the hampden remix it's runrig the scotland national team and a crowed of 60 thousand singing loch lomand for charity

Who’d have thought Jimmy Crankie would have become a political leader.
