Mr. Moser, I have been teaching university cello students for over 30 years and I am always fascinated by what other performer/teachers have to say about our repertoire.
I find your RUclips mini-masterclasses very inspiring. You speak to your students with respect, clarity, warmth and modest good humor. Your observations and suggestions are wonderfully to the point and very helpful - even to someone who has played and taught the piece for many years. Thank you for using your quarantine time wisely and Bravo!

Dear Mr. Harp, Thank you kindly for your very generous comment about the classes - they keep me going and I really enjoy the interaction with the next generation of young cellists around the globe. Fascinating to see how social media can really either divide us or indeed unite us, depending on what we aim for.
Thank you again, and my very best greetings to you in Providence! I was just there before the lockdown, and had a marvelous time!

Mr. Moser, Yes, I was I was in the orchestra for the Saint-Saens and you were excellent. We could have had you for a masterclass but for some reason on our end it didn’t happen. Our loss. My students at Brown University would have enjoyed your friendly, clear and specific instruction. I am hoping it will happen next time you are here. Soon, I hope. Very best wishes on your future concerts.

That first guy has a cello that doesn't fit him. He has so much skill, but I feel that he is held back by the quality of his cello. He is so good

Dear Mr. Moser, thank you so much for your excellent video’s!!!
Is it possible to do something about 'breathing' while playing the cello, especially in difficult passages?

Yep, very nice - you have only had 200 years + to work it out, in the end it is a concerto and if the rest of the orchestra don't get it you are lost.
