Coincidently this became their second UK number 1 hit. Always admired Blur before this song but this cemented them as my all time favourite band. I can still remember all the feelings this song gave me when I first heard it and how much it seemed they matured since the great escape. I then would play this song over and over again over the years like uncorking a fine wine. Man has it been 26 years already? I mean look at the state of music now. It’s like these soy musicians are afraid to pick up a guitar unless it’s acoustic. I miss good guitar music. Give me Ride, Suede, Pulp and Blur any day over this over sampled autotune rubbish they call music.
