I bought this set and the recycling truck from this wave, and surprisingly, this buggy wound up being the highlight for me. Something about the dramatic turning and suspension makes it a perfect desk toy, compared to the more subdued functions of the recycling truck. This set reminds me of the 2021 hovercraft in that way, with the dramatic turning fans following the steering
For the first time ever in my life, i got to buy a LEGO set myself and its this one which was in sale. Absolutely love it and its playability in various terrains, much a real life buggy would.
What an adorable little set. Reminds me a lot of sets I used to get when I was a kid, my parents could only afford these small sets but there were usually some neat functions like working steering and engine
I picked this up the other day after I began getting back into Lego. I have a few of the botanicals, and picking up this Technic set really made me appreciate all the cool mechanisms that are possible in even a 20 dollar set.
I haven't touched a Lego set in like 6+ years. I got this at a whim since it was only 16 euros and looked cool. Took me an hour to build and the value for money is really good, the steering, frame bending, the way the engine looks like it's actually running and not just static when you push the car forward. It's a really fun set and I enjoyed building one for the first time in a long while. Now I want to get more lego sets, forgot how fun it was.
This looks like a very intricate technic set considering its low price. I'll be getting one for sure, mostly to encourage TLG to make more sets like this. The set reminds me a little of 8226, that one had a similar steering mechanism. But this one looks better and even includes an engine!
The tilt-to-steer mechanism is a genius move from the Lego engineers. I got mine at a promo discount and had lots of fun building this. Recommended set for a really good price point!
i today got and build mine. beautyful medium sized build with interesting functions. after most fun part, building, it still offers some interesting push-play with the body bending, and looks so sweet on shelf. i personally fully recommend this set
This is the best technic set from the January wave so far. I love the steering function without the use of HOG. The only con: different colored wheels. It would had been better with all four wheels blue.
I already bought this setl,it is great model for that price They implemented active suspension, which is a feature i wanted to custom make in some of My previous Lego models i bought, but never managed to find a spare timento do that 🙂👍
Due to the steering mechanism the car rolls through corners tilting to the inside like a boat rather than a car which looks strange IMHO. Other than that the color scheme appears fresh and vibrant. I also like the the increased use of the two different width variants of the 43.2 rims/tires.
This is a proper start to technic, i really like it, i got both the neom and buggy, compared to the neom, this has a great suspension and steering for the price, the neom wins on durability and speed (obviously), ths buggy is not perfect but its really good.
It reminds me very much of the 8066 B model buggy which also had suspension on the rear and tilt steering. This model is bigger and more colourful so should be a nice partner for my 8066. Compact and Nice Review Balazs! I have to get this set now!
Not really a fan of the looks and color use, but for this price the functionality is great! And that's what it should be all about with Technic. Surely the highlight of this overal pretty decent Technic wave.
i modded mine, added second exhaust pipe, some body work, didn't include the stickers, nor the vibrant yellow parts, also.. added lego net on both sides! and rear lights (red)
It would have boon better if th rear rims were the same colour. In general it feels like a weird set in context of all we had previously - feels like the 10$ sets, but just bigger and more expensive.
I guess you didn't watch closely at 3:20... Btw if you are interested in the "tracked thing", I have a full video about it on the channel. Since the title of the video does not include it at all, if I were you I would assume it is there to highlight some sort of similarity with the actual subject of the video.
The perfectly aligned microphone and the red crane in the background was satisfying. My OCD appreciates it.

I didn’t like it, to be honest
why? @@Bricks.Master.Builders
Fully agree with this. The dune buggy has far more playability that you can do in a small space imo
For the first time ever in my life, i got to buy a LEGO set myself and its this one which was in sale. Absolutely love it and its playability in various terrains, much a real life buggy would.
I build this set today and I was amazed how creative is building process. And so many functions in such a small set is excellent!
What an adorable little set. Reminds me a lot of sets I used to get when I was a kid, my parents could only afford these small sets but there were usually some neat functions like working steering and engine
I just built this last night and it was fun and ended up with a great little desk top toy.

Smaller Technic sets are affordable and fun!
This set makes for a great gift, I'll be buying a couple once they are on sale.

amazing set, it looks cool, its cheap to buy, perfection!
I loved smaller technic sets since i was a kid, this set was the best to date, the fucntions the value and everything in between
its just so good.

Thanks for the review!
Indeed, great little set. I was really surprised and amazed by the steering and with suspension and mobility.
My 2.5 yo daughter loves this. Of course I builde it myself.
This is basically the revised version of the LEGO 42101 sand dune buggy. Loved that set, it was amazing but this seems better!
This is the best technic set from the January wave so far. I love the steering function without the use of HOG.
The only con: different colored wheels. It would had been better with all four wheels blue.

I just threw one of these in with my BDP order. It's funny how these little sets can be some of the most fun! Thanks for the review!
I bought this buggy yesterday And this is my first lego technic!
The blue color looks fantastic!
just bought this for 12 usd. very excited to build it!

Love it, has some 8818 Dune Buggy vibes :)
The wobbly engine gives it that vibe-y small engine feel lol.

It’s great when a small affordable set is a slam dunk
Bought this set earlier this week, love it!
I saw this in the store yesterday. Came THIS close to buying it. May have to reconsider and pick it up. 😅
this is what technic should be focusing on more, a clever and function based build
Those yellow bricks glow like crazy under UV/black light, give them a try.
Babe wake up

That's a really nifty little build!

Thanks man I was billding this
Looks like a V4 engine to me instead of a V8 ( @1:19 )
Wishful thinking :D
Nice looking set

My favorite $20 Technic set in a bit. So much so, I may have bought a second 😂
Nice car! I'd say well done Lego!
The chassis design reminds me of a Tamiya Frog, but with the suspension of a Tamiya Hornet.
The small sets are the best
The tire in the begining dipped
Wondering if a pull back block would fit with the suspension in place 🤔
I hope the ornithopter is next I am excited to see how the functions work
Isn't that only releasing at the end of February?
@@kjerins February 1st
very cool!
mines on the way
This is my favorite set of 2024! I review it on my channel too. 😊
It would have boon better if th rear rims were the same colour. In general it feels like a weird set in context of all we had previously - feels like the 10$ sets, but just bigger and more expensive.
I just realized, it doesnt have a steering wheel
8066's B model updated
Can you put the pull back motor into the buggy
I looks like you modded the landing gear on the Airbus helicopter Balaz, did you?
I want to buy this set but does any of you experience rust for the suspension part in long term? Is there a way to avoid that?
Isn't the same rims as the Lego 71458 Crocodile Car??? The blue ones...
I have that too pls I'm. Not lying I like lego technic
how do you have all those lego sets, thats like thousands of dollars
8226 lives!
I got this set for 11$, is it a good deal btw ?
That's not a V8, that's a V4 engine.
Wishful thinking...
Very nice, what is your favorite set from this wave?
This one

3:52 is correct at least ;)
Clickbait the tracked thing wasn’t in the video and that’s what I clicked for :(
