Thanks again Trista! I had my 12" Smart Lace, synthetic topper cut and it has a bit of flip in it, and I'd like it to curl under. I didn't think I could do anything about it because it's not heat safe. Going out to buy a steamer this morning! So grateful for you! Much love 💕
I just came across your channel yesterday. Love it! And that you're a Cubs fan is an additional plus! Had to subscribe. The wig you're wearing here looks great on you, and the color is fabulous.
Pretty lady! such a simple thing to make a bend in the front. I bought a new steamer and am going to try it. A little confused on HD, Hf, permatease etc. I have both types of wigs!
Cool!! So much to actually learn about wigs or toppers. I’ve never had one but still contemplating investing in one. About 10 yrs ago I bought a clip in piece. It looked beautiful. I believe it was Jon Renau. But now as I’ve aged my hair is thinning so clip ins are not an option. Thanks so much for this very informative video. ❣️
I’ve never had success in steaming non-heat friendly wigs to get rid of frizz, in spite of having two steamers for the purpose. The Helen of Troy doesn’t work in Australia because our electricity is a different voltage. I’m currently using heat defiant Belle Tress and Tony of Beverly which has a longer lasting fibre. I’m going to transition to longer lasting human hair because it’s become obvious my hair will never return to normal. Thank you for your tips and advice.
Very helpful video thank you 👌 I have uniwigs upgrade curly claire topper & to have a side part means I have to clip on the top of my head where I'm so thin which hurts also theres a light coloured line between the lace front & the mono top! Any ideas would be much appreciated 😘
Best practice yes. But I’m not going to sit here and say I’ve never used stuff that isn’t. The bamboo silicone on amazon is for both. A lot of people use it for wigs.
Wish me luck! I'm going to dye with rit royal purple with 99% alcohol t o get rid of the yellowing. I'm taking on a major task from my first synthetic halo
Quick question! You said dry heat will fry the wig but isn’t the heat brush dry heat too? I don’t want to mess up my piece but wanted to get the brush you suggested in your video 😉
Wow, this is great! I'm hoping (please confirm?) this might be my answer to fixing the kinky ends I accidentally created with an extremely low heated comb (sigh) on my (first, dang it) topper bangs. (Will prob have to cut some away but want to avoid that if possible...) I've been trying a few things but was afraid of steam. Thanks for this!
This is going to sound snarky but I think it is a good point. Manufacturers could fix this droopy front before sale. Not too many people are copying Veronica Lake these days, are they? .
Thank you for your video!! New to synthetic wigs. Is it possible to take a small section that I had ended up making the ends really frizzy from a curling iron & steam it out to smooth? Thank you!
Hint..personally when I need to watch a RUclips video, its for much needed info...right off the bat your video treats(not) us to seeing/hearing you talk to your cat. I just shut it down the second time in less than 2 minutes your told your cat he couldn't come in..not cute

Coffee shop lady here again..... I GOTTA get a steamer! I am sooooo thankful for you!!

That color looks great on you - it matches your beautiful eyes!
You have a great personality which comes through the video. :-)

Great info! And the thumbnail has fantastic vintage flair!

Thank you very informative video, explained really well . I’ve definitely learnt from this . Your Karrie looks lovely on you
Thanks so much for this! It pretty much negates my previous question about the Noriko Taylor wig. Thanks again Trista! 🙂

Thank you. Great video. I'm a newbie and really needed your advice.

You are adorable! Thank you for the shout out lady 🥰
Perfect thank you 😊
I’d like to know if the silicone-based style product must say that it’s specifically for use on synthetic hair.

Thank you so much! ♥️
Hello - I used the same steamer you use, but I frizzeled the bangs of my beautiful non-heat friendly Wig. What did I do wrong? Thank kyou

Did you say what color this wig is? Very pretty color.

Is steaming your wig permanent or does it go back to the original style after washing it?
I like your videos. You are able to laugh at your mistakes and they are so cute! (Virgin) 🙂
Virgen? 😂 🤣
Thank you, but way too much wasted time.
