@@huynhcharlie I'm just making a video on Echeveria propagation, but in a nutshell- it depends on the Echeveria. Those that grow offsets- i usually let them grow to size and harvest the offsets but if they grow mostly solitary i behead. And if they grow from leaves, i prefer leaf propagation as you can get a good 50 plants from 1 mature Echeveria. The problem is, they are not all the same... The video will explain it in more detail :)
Definitely possible 😀- i've propagated quite a few from leaf, though, it's a bit pointless as Sempervivum grow loads a offsets which is a much faster way to propagate them. You can google- there's some photos from others. I've just separated some leaves and will do a video on Semp leaf propagation in a couple of months.🙂
I'll have to disagree with that, especially when it comes to succulents. Cuttings of offsets or branches and even leaves of some cultivars will grow faster than seeds..
Respectfully, I still disagree- you can easily propagate a huge variety of plants through cuttings. Even plants like tomatoes, basil, mint etc are super easy and fast. Their cuttings can root in a couple of weeks and the plants will be as strong as the seed grown ones. Also plants that spread via rhizomes or can be split, bulbs etc. i can go on@@marioavalos2831
Thanks for sharing 😊fantastic information 😊
Thanks for the info on propagation, it’s saves a lot of frustration! Love from Brisbane!
Thank you, glad it was helpful💚 🙂
That's awesome information, thank you so so much for making this video!
Ahh, i'm so glad you found this and commented as i couldn't remember which video we had the discussion about this under (so i could tag you) 😅
@@SucculentGrowingTips I appreciate it! So.. would you say the best/fastest way to propagate echeveria is through stem cuttings or beheading?

Thank you- so glad the vid was helpful ☺💚
Thank you for sharing beautiful and amazing plants lovely collection lovely succulents do you sell any let me know
Hi, i used to have a retail website, but only now sell in bulk of 100 or more and at local markets in Blue Mountains in Sydney 🙂
Thank you! I thibk haworthia leaves are hard too, at least for me
Yes, you are definitely right. Haworthia are pretty difficult. It was on my list but, somehow i left them out 😅
Can the Sempervivum grow from leaves? Newcastle AU
Yes they can 😀 it may take a little longer for the leafbabies to emerge but, it definitely works 🌱
I was always told no

Seeds always grow faster than anything else

@@SucculentGrowingTips well perhaps with succulent it is different. But everything else primarily does grow faster and stronger from seed

Well if their health is stability like THC is to marijuana. Every time it's clone it loses potency. Any how interesting point of view
