    I think I can thank the Wheel of Time for whatever knowledge I have of stoles and shawls. It spilled a great deal of ink on women’s neckwear and the colors there of.

    The common term would be a mink stole. People don't wear fur any more, but back in older TV days, the mink stole was what the women wanted.

    Oh no, tough Connections. If you didn't know that a stole is neckwear, you had little chance.

    Connections: tha heck is a stole? I failed only getting blue.
    Forgot to do the mini.
    Got the reverse Rangsk Strands today (no mistakes or bonus words and spanagram last)

    I had blue and green in connections. Almost won 😢
    The mini was confusing. Stands was pretty good.

    I suppose American English doesn't use the French terms and phrases that the British use. We have the phrase " le mot juste " meaning the correct word or term.
