Funny, they've been trying and hoping and praying Kelly will retire since Y2k. One thing you don't do with Kelly is tell him what he needs to do, or even ask and/or mention... For the last 25 years or so you tell the guy to retire he'll add another 5 years, lol it's da way he rolls. If you want Kelly to retire you have two options; 1: tell him never to retire, and 2: Never bring up the subject. Myself being older than Kelly -- he basically has till he's 57, THEN lol the BIG change starts and it goes downhill fast. BUT Kelly has more hours in the ocean than any human that ever lived so he could last competitive wise till 61 or 63. Peace

I was body surfing when I was a kid in LBI, I’m from CA so I didn’t know anything about staying in between the flags. I got a leg cramp and couldn’t swim, I started drowning in the rip, and the lifeguard just blew his whistle at me for 10 min while I slowly drowned because I drifted out of the flags. Luckily a body boarder saved me.
There is a kite board spot along Miami Beach. That you have to apply and do a written test and you can only sail there if you have a Florida residence. This is what the life guard told me near the spot

I know I got away from the pier one day and I had my own personal lifeguard just in front of me on his 4wheeler...I thought I was doing something wrong he was like.."nah man just watching you" ...I really felt safe too❤
I was a lifeguard for 7 years (public pool inlander lol) but my fav move was blowing the whistle and just shaking my head no. Mean mug with opaque aviators shades and a floppy hat had em pissin themselves (good thing it was in a pool lol)
