- May the Lord bless you as you listen to this very solemn hymn. It brings tears to my eyes. The choice is ours. Will we let Jesus work in our hearts? Or will we be found wanting? How shall we stand?

This song has me on my knees 😢, my husband and I are going apart today.both sabbath and keeping people .the Bible says that the man is the head of the home 🏡, but my husband chose today to have movers to do the work, I asked my husband of all the days of the day week,you wanted us to have movers to come and move us to the next house 🏠?and I started to cry 😢out loud on my knees in the bathroom, asking God why whyyyyy 😢😢😢, sin enter in our lives 16 yrs and I kept holding on, until today,going another way 😢😢😢, "How shall we stand 🧍♀️ God ".I am sick with strokes and I walk out the house and told him I sm not helping him move anything, I don't want to have anything to do with moving on the sabbath, I don't have no part in this. I'm sitting in my car at the lake crying and listening to this song over and over, "How shall I stand?"😢😢😢😢
I have prayed for his conviction back to his original beliefs. So sorry for your anguish. Unfortunately (and this breaks a wife’s heart) we are only in change of ourselves and husbands are free to make their choice. Praying for encouragement for you and conviction for him.

I pondered the meaning of this hymn it can be terrible scary day, because every human soul will dealing with it's Creator, like is or not, every individual will experience and will be asked to take responsibility during their live in earth.I once experienced that my behavior was shown on a screen, through a dream, it was really embarrasing it turn out that GOD has a personal file for every human being. 🙏
True true. But - and this is a big but. If we have accepted Jesus’ gift of salvation, we are clothed with His righteousness. We confess the sin we have done and ask for forgiveness. Then, when those books are opened, God sees only the righteousness of Christ in place of our sin and bad choices. All shame and embarrassment has gone. Jesus wore them on the cross. Praise God for the salvation He offers us! May you accept what Jesus is offering, friend. God bless!
The words of the hymn is giving a little touch on my personal spiritual relationship with our Creator. We should be very careful on how we use this life, cos there is judgment taking place presently.

To those who have never accepted Christ as their Savior (will perish in their unconfessed sins) shall stand condemned to eternal damnation, and those who have accepted Him (through the confession of their sins) shall stand in His perfect righteousness which will lead to eternal life with Him. He has left the decision to us on which we shall choose. See 1 John 1:9, Acts 4:12, Romans 10:13, and John 3:36.
