@@AttorneyArkady 6 months ago I got rear ended...I ended up with edema myeloma on my cervical Cord and 3 neck hodniations plus a lebrum tear and a mtbi in Westchester county I have done 6 months phisical therapy and chropractors..4 epidural Injections around 12 trigger Injections and I'm still in pain and can't turn My neck on the left.. I was recommended from 2 neurosurgeons that I need a 3 level fusion... My life has been a mess since I have panic attacks anytime I stuck in traffic and I have not been able to work since... your videos and calm demeanor is very helpful to me..I wish I had your information back in January

Nice Personable Man. Here in CA, two years ago. I slipped in a big puddle of water at a major chain Home Improvement Store. I didn't go down. But my Body was so tense. I damaged my L-5 and S-1. Two years later. I still have severe pain as well as severe sciatica. On top of this. I damaged a vessel in my right Hip that required a Complete Hip replacement due to lack of blood in my Hip Joint. I have herniated disc, was injured in car accident in 2003. Had 7 surgeries. My no fault insurance company sent me to 15+ IME doctors which of course have denied all medically necessary treatments. Despite i still have $45, 000 in pip coverage not used. I believe it's racketeering and corruption in the insurance industry. I have been unable to find any law firm to sue IME doctors or Insurance companies.

Yes definitely. If the injury is serious and someone is getting medical care for 1-3+ months they will usually have an MRI and that tells us what the injury is. So it’s an essential first step. Without an MRI we’re talking about pain complaints which insurance companies usually will not put any value on or nuisance money only.

Hi. From what you described it should be a multi million dollar value. Fusion is very serious and life changing. UPS trucks should have plenty of coverage. Rearend means 100% their fault. Was there significant property damage to your car ?

Any references or have you done videos on labor and birth malpractice ? I was 22 athletic and they injected incorrectly the epidural 5 times causing nerve damage, a careless nurse trying to do an anesthesiologists job injecting the wrong medication elevating my bp to 180, all while knowing I got diagnosed with preeclampsia, speeding up my babies death 80%, still birth due to that nurse who was upset caring for me because she got criticized by other nurses. From athletic to numb limb ruining my mother hood.
I would love to sue because now I’m struggling with my child. All because the nurses were careless.

I just had one of these cases. Next time I will not get a lawyer or go to a Pain management for injection shots. My lawyer took 75% of my money plus told me they could not lower my bills. Out of a $50,000 settlement I only received $15,000. Also I had to wait 2 years to get the $15,000

Recharged Mind yes you should ask your lawyer for a closing statement. In New York closing statements showing expenses, liens, and legal fees must be filed with the office of court administration. Georgia bar should have a similar provision.

hello what is the difference in settlements from the 5 boroughs to westchester county?
Generally the 5 boroughs are considered more plaintiff friendly w higher verdicts. Westchester is considered more conservative. But it really depends on the jurors you select & the facts of your case. We had a $300k result in Westchester despite everyone saying that injury isn’t worth more than $30k there.

My wife was rear ended by a man on duty, in a company truck. A year prior to this she herniated her disk requiring surgery and physical therapy, she has before(injured) and after(repaired) x rays from her surgeon. When she was rear ended recently, it herniated the same disk, it will require surgery(she went through the pt, injections, and epidural, still has nerve pain) what kind of claim can she possible see with something like this? She was offered 15k, we declined and are lawyering up. We have small kids that she can’t pick up, she is a teacher and coach, it has severely affected her occupation because of the pain. She is gaining weight(can’t exercise), and has severe anxiety over it. Thanks you.

I went to a local injury treatment center. He insisted that I not get surgery and he'll get me better. Then insisted that I hire a specific lawyer. In my state 1/3 goes to lawyer, 1/3 is for medical and final 1/3 is for me. After 34 visits, I'm back the same. Insurance company is willing to pay the policy limit of $50K. Now lawyer on top of chiropractor insist that I not get surgery so referring chiropractor gets 100% of medical without proration due to surgery.

👋 hello, I am 32 y/o, last year 2 days after my wedding I was rear ended by a construction company truck while on my honey moon in Puerto Rico, resulted in 2 HNPs with radiculopathy and permanent nerve damage, I did PT, Injections and just had a 2 level lumbar fusion about a month ago, I was wondering how much I could expect to get from this (lawyer from Puerto Rico doesn’t want to speculate on a number just yet and I’m just very anxious to know) also it messed up my life in a way where I am no longer the active person I used to be, I had to leave my job that I absolutely loved (I had a CDL license and was a school bus driver for NJ school district) and the permanent nerve damage has me in constant pain ( I was denied disability twice so far already) i also had to move out of NJ and come to PR because I couldn’t afford the cobra without being able to work and I am going through all my medical here through the ACAA government agency for MV accidents. Does the settlement amount change for being in Puerto Rico? Also I have to assume the insurance company has a decent liability since it’s a very well known construction company. So sorry to hear that happened. We are NYC injury lawyers so it would be hard for me to tell you an approximate settlement value in Puerto Rico. I think any fusion case anywhere in the US is worth 6 or 7 figures if there is clear liability and enough insurance coverage. I think the best thing is to ask the lawyer who is handling your case or if you need a second opinion I have worked with a strong injury lawyer in the Caribbean before (not sure if his practice includes Puerto Rico) but I can ask his opinion. I would generally always advise speaking to your lawyer or if your lawyer will not advise you or you lost confidence in your attorney then you can reach out to others who have experience in the local area. it would be pretty disappointing if the majority of my settlement gets eaten away by the medical fees
Where is your case pending ? City, state. In New York car crashes medicals are paid for by PIP or No Fault which is a separate policy from the Bodily Injury that pays for pain and suffering. But I’m other states you have to sue for bills too.

Was hit from the back by a first responder truck @ a red light in Manhattan while @ wrk had neck Fusion @c4/c5 had epidural shots for my back & shoulders & trigger point shots none wrk so now they talking surgery on all.... cant wrk or drive for more then 2hrs by the way it’s was a city truck that hit me how much my case is Worth??

hello I developed a lumbar disc herniation with radiculopathy . I’m only 18 years old and got this from a fast food job. We were made to set up a 25 car parking lot. I had to carry sand filled buckets through this parking lot that were extremely heavy I needed two hand to pick up one bucket. I started having back problems which I though was normal because I was sitting more because of online school. Just a month ago I got to the point I could no longer walk so I got check out and an MRI showed the hernia in my spine. My job it’s being very suspicious once I request the forms for a worker’s compensation claim. I am very scared because like I said I’m 18 I don’t know what I’m doing but I know the only strenuous activities I would do would be that around 3-4x a week. 3:30 what do you mean? The lawyer has a care of duty to complete the case. My lawyer dumped my case because I didn’t know he was secretly doing this behind my back. Stalling. Doing nothing. No reason. Case was 100% non contributory but he was a Miami lawyer that liked the beach more than paperwork. Now he can explain to the state bar association how good those waves look lol. Last I heard he was running for political office...where he belongs 😂
Hi. Sorry to hear about that horrible experience you had. In New York where we practice a lawyer is allowed to send a letter declining representation if a lawsuit has not yet been filed. After a lawsuit is filed that same lawyer would need to file a motion to obtain court approval to withdraw.

What about a passenger
Yes a passenger can obtain a settlement from both car’s insurance policy if both vehicles are at fault. Passengers often have the best cases bc they are not at fault so it’s only a question of how much compensation they will receive which is based on how serious their injuries are. Hope this helps. The meds are not help the pain
It's been 8 months since my accident the truck that hit me has 750,000 limit big rig I have 2 bulging and one partially herniated disc I have been through a couple of months of physical therapy which helped the ultimately my pain came back so I have been treating with orthopedic doctors and I just had my first facet injections which was 11,000 I have to under go six more injections totaling another 11,000 next week .... The party was 100% at fall rear-ended me I'm a big truck driver my self so I sit behind the wheel in the same position for hours which is really when my pain is at its worst from sitting driving like that !!! It's really taken a toll on my health it's sucks to drive being that's been my profession for the last 9 years... Hoping to you can telling me what it might be worth with out thanks for everything you do !!!
