For people that actually play water polo, you can tell that this video was made by someone who has not played water polo. The general idea of the video is correct, although there are a lot of things that don't quite line up with the actual game. Such as the visual representation of how the game begins. The ball is not placed directly in the middle of the pool, but rather near on of the walls, or sides.
Bruh seems Like you never Played Water Polo the Ball is Sometimes placed on a Triangle in the middle of the Pool which is connected to the bottom and when they start swimming the triangle is pulled away by the Rope or string thats attached to it

@@honytawk5968 i played water polo in high school it was at the side of the pool high school and some club water polo depending on where the club is playing that day its going to be on the side. the triangle thing can be used if its a lake tournament.
I know this probably already has been said but as a water polo player immediately I notice things wrong such as the ball being put in the middle (it is usually placed closer to the wall in the center) and in water polo you cannot wear goggles.
another thing I would like to add is that in 1:45 it says player to player contact will result in a foul is not completely true. Water polo is a very physical sport but in certain situations like when the opponent is swimming you cannot pull them back or stop them from swimming
there is a triangle in some games that is pulled down when the swimoff starts, but yeah it is usually on the side
STOP I WAS LITERALLY THINKING THAT: WTF ARE THEY DOING WITH GOGGLES!!! also the ref can't throw it into the middle of the pool only the side where you sprint
player to player contact is ok in some scenarios like holding your person so you know where they are but you should only hold them under the water so they person being guarded cant fake a foul. also they start the game at the ends of the pool and they have to swim to the center or in many cases the side the ref drops the ball at the get the ball
The splashing water thing would never be called and anything underwater is rarely called
i've actually seen that being called but almost never happens

You cant wear goggles in water polo
the players are visualised incorrectly though. the first thing is, players can't wear glasses. the other thing is, a team can't have red on their cap. only the goalie's cap (regardless of team) is red.
also at the beginning of every period the teams ensemble is not on field, it is by the "wall" next to theyr goal

You list a bunch of these things that the refs are going to call you out on for penalties shit I had my speedo pulled a lot and I had to wrestle the dude in the center and I hardly got kicked out for it
If your playing set you need to show the ref. You can do this by moving your head and body to the front, then snapping back onto your players body. This makes it look like you’re being pulled. This will the other player the offensive.
@@stinkholes5411 i don't think i understood everything you said but yeah good players can do a lot without being called and can also force the opponent to fault, it is a dirty and tilting game a lot of times... with that being sait it also depends quite a lot on who ur referee is

@@stinkholes5411 i was the 2 meter guard if i did play set it was to draw the foul because i knew how to do that better that our set was able to do but it would be once or twice a game because after that he knew i was going to get another foul on him again

First, there are no goggles and water polo and second you cannot stand on the bottom
And idk bout the rest of waterpolo players but in europe mostly it’s one big break of 2 minutes and 2 breaks of 1 minute
it’s usually right but some things are bad like the start positions players or the ball isnt in the middle plus only one player from each team goes for the ball and you cant have swimming goggles in the game

the most important thing you need to know and is not shown is how faults go because u can wrestle the shit out your oponent and not get caught and there is a shit ton of information that the video doesn't contain but is crutial to a casual game
