The Cops at 0:40 were so damn nice lol
The last cop being educational and admitting right now it's kind of a gray area and pulling up the state codes. Willing to admit that he is going to learn more about it, for future reasons. Awesome cop! The first video I like how they were like I'm going that way and making a left. Other cop I'm going inside Wawa. A nice get home with it, and don't let us see it. Some awesome cops. The Nebraska cops were chill as well and informing. I love these videos and anyone that runs is dumb. Been riding for 13 years and I only have gotten a fix itt ticket for my integrated taillight. 8 inches apart for turn signals. As long as I put them back on the ticket was dismissed.

Just that so many cops can be a$$hats and dirt bike lunatic gets really good content for cops vs. bikers and it shows by pulling over your far less likely to get a ticket and each state has rules on ebikes and with groms more laws are coming in. I just wanted to point out how awesome the officers are and the riders. Never run.

The last cop was awesome and he was correct in my book. His bike met all the criteria for a moped, it's stupid, but better to be safe than sorry.

Cool & Angry cops vs bikers is just the name of the series of videos like this, but if youre extra picky im sure the cops at the round about clip were pretty angry.

@14:00 Virginia does not require you to have a license for an E-bike nor do they require registration
E-bike codes also require pedals for manual operation at least here in AZ and CA. Is Virginia the same or do they need to update code?
That needs to change, otherwise imagine all the idiots that can ride those things on the road....
I doubt they ever thought a E-bike would do 40-50 mph either.

Getting the government to tag it is super hard in most states. They don't give you a real way to actually vin them. The way he describes comes down to the department of drivers service opinion. And they don't like them it seems.

12:23 Those E bikes should require registration, insurance and a license to be able to ride them on the roads. A majority of owners who get pulled over all argue that its an Electric bike. So what. Why dont electric cars get a pass??
And they should have to pay the road tax that cars pay at the pump, they should have to pay it as part of their registration every year.

I own one and here in the UK you can buy them road legal, as for tax you can not tax an electric vehicle because it produces no emissions. There's no such thing as road tax so they will never be charged, this is the same for electric cars
Are you really comparing an e-bike to an electric car? lmao
I couldn't see the type of bike, but most states if they can't go above a certain speed (25mph?) and still have peddles its a peddle bike with a motor, no registration etc needed. As soon as the peddles come off and it can go up to 45mph it becomes a moped, and above that its a motorcycle.
Your on glue saying it can't go 45. E-bikes are far from my joy, but they are far from slow. Also, any paid-for motorcycle is not legally forced to carry insurance. You certainly should, but Federal law says you don't have to. Only if it is financed.
In the case of financing, it is not the law it is the Bank that wants insurance.

In all honesty as a cop, we don't care about bikers. Never once have I been like "OMG A BIKER LETS GET HIM" thats satire asf. I wont even chase sports bikes because majority of the time they run for no reason and I don't want them to wreck out and die over clout and pride. The cop on the round about in the video? Dude was not just continuously looking for the bike. He was just bored driving the round about. I've done it on round abouts, you drive around for 12 hours... He then left. Why would he keep circling looking for the bike right behind him? If he even knew of the bikes existance and wanted to try to stop it he would've braked. There was no reason to even think he knew of the motorcycle, lets be real lol
