Have you ever had MTFs actually disabling SCP-106 in one of your playthroughs? I feel like they just wander around the facility with no real purpose right now until they eventually encounter either the player or 173.

No, that definitely doesn't happen.
The furthest I've seen the mtf get is containing 173 as I heard the announcement over the comms.
As far as I can tell, the primary purpose of the MTFs is just to serve as another hostile threat to D-9341, however they are also capable of re-containing 173 and 106, as they do have intercom lines for recontaining 106.

I feel like SCP-372’s containment chamber is probably the worst place to encounter SCP-173 in this entire game, just so many places for it to hide.
We learned 2 main things about how the game works: 1 - it will reduce 106's activity when 173 is around in order to reduce absurdity. 2 - each 173 has a chance to play an ambient sound that resembles its "footsteps" in order to confuse the player. Sounds like heavy metal parts beeing dragged and heavy stones falling.
I think the footsteps (actually called StoneDrag in the game files) always happen when 173 is moving to the player and the player is looking away

EDIT: Also why do u always turn other way when 096 event is (where 096 kills a guard) ?? If you think you can trigger him through window you cant except if windows werent generated in seed for some game engines reason.
Marko Bratković They block each other in the doorway. At one point I attempted this challenge but with aggressive npcs and two of them blocked each other in the door out of 914. I had to just quit and start again. I couldn't get them into the room or get them to go away. gg.
And I know 096's event wont harm me to watch, I've just seen it so many times I don't really care to see it any more :D
Unlike the canonical Dr. Clef, i don’t think Neph has any desire to sleep with 173
Portentous plus Neph is female so I don’t think concrete going out of a [REDACTED] would be very comfortable.

The First time i started Scp Cb i ran into the room from the black shadow scp 372 you cant see directly and i saved my game into this room i open the door and Hello scp 173 kills me. after i know he was behind the door i started to ran past him after i made it i came to Scp 178 i grab it and after i want to leave the room....... Scp 173 killed me again. well scp 173 is the most brutal scp if ever seen. not the shy guy or the plague doc are so fuckin rage inducting like scp 173. only scp 1499 helped me to survive scp 173 attacks.
And i like Scp 178 it makes fun to survive against scp 178-1
