Lol I'm the exact same. There's something about this game in particular that is extremely unnerving. I can play SCP: Unity and SCP: Secret Laboratory just fine but Containment Breach just creeps me the fuck out. It's really a testament to how well this game captures the atmosphere. Oh and because of the stupid mouse flick bug which I seem to get quite a lot.
Alternatively, i used to go in 106's pocket dimension to sort of sequence break and get an early lvl 3 key card. Also one thing to note if you do use this guide. On the first encounter of 049 you MUST get "detected" by him otherwise the door closes until he has seen you.
I just tried live-streaming this yesterday after watching this guide and it really helped! I didn’t study this video enough so I only got so far before a viewer had to help me but I had to abandon the run because there was a glitch in 079 room. I couldn’t get past the blood on the floor leading up to the second door. I would glitch through the floor. I’m trying again later tonight. Hopefully it doesn’t glitch again but I heard that that was a common glitch on SCP Containment Breach Multiplayer
@@literally_lukey4692 Because unless you are willing to have a free inventory space or SCP-1499's dimension as a storage there is no use in carrying it. It slows you down by locking your stamina to 2 points and 049 is always right up your ass. Doesnt mean you can escape/trap him in that state, it just SUCKS and is a tremendous waste of time. It's easier to avoid and juke him or accept your death in case of trapping yourself. Ultimate Edition mod fixes this bs by increasing your speed when 714 is worn which allows you to outrun or to be more correct.. outwalk 049 while still having stamina lock. Why the fuck did Third Subdivision Studio devs felt the need to nerf it in this shitty way.. I cant even begin to imagine.
LewdsLurker Agent I understand it slows you down, but 049 is completely unpredictable and spawns anywhere in small areas sometimes blocking doors. It’s good just to have it just in case. (In my opinion.)
@@literally_lukey4692 But you can't sprint whilst wearing it, so you're constantly moving at the same speed as 049 and can't get away from him. I've shown many times in this video alone how easy it is to get past him if you just put on the super gas mask and loop around. In my opinion 714 just isn't worth it :/
how this game hasn't gained more publicity and notoriety by now is beyond me. it is hands down one of the greatest, if not the greatest, indie horror game in recent memory due to the sheer magnitude of its lore details.
All remaining personel are advised to stay in the evacuation shelters or any other safe area until the unit has secured the facility. (takes a short pause) They'll start escorting personnel out when the escaped SCPs have been recontained.
Nepheron: 'makes a guide' Me: 'still fears SCP-939's chamber because of those rdm voices' But anyways pretty good job and thank you so much for this guide!
I'll break it down for you First when you spawn in, go to a certain room, it should have a gas mask, level 1 keycard and some battiers Then go to the light containment chamber, keep your eyes on SCP 173 and get the level 2 keycard and the navigator. Go to one of the elevators in LCZ and sneak past 939 to get night vision googles and a black severed hand then go back Go to 914, put the level 2 keycard on fine for level 3 keycard, put the navigation deivce and gas mask on very fine and you get SNAV ultimate which can detect SCPs and the heavy gas mask which makes u run infinitely, optionaly also throw in the night vision googles for a better version. Go to the surveillance room then run past 049 Go to heavy containment zone and enter Go to 049's chamber for the level 4 keycard and avoid him Go to 106's chamber for the level 5 keycard, contain him if you want or don't contain him if you want one of the gate A endings Go to the enterance zone and go to the electric room and disable remote control Go back to the heavy containment zone and go to 079's chamber and speak with him, he will then ask you to re enable remote control and he will let you go through gate A or gate B, and just avoid MTF, your welcome.
SCP-5671 "Nephron" Object class: Appolyon Special containment procedures: SCP-5671 is to be kept in a small cell with a Laptop branded ■■■■■ with no lights or cameras but windows are allowed for research.
I have known for scp for well over 6 years now. I replayed the game over 100 times and I'm still scared of everything when I play and you're just so casual about it.
Finally, a tutorial video that contains instroductions with voice and recorded by the best SCP:CB player ever. Whish me luck guys. I fell I can finish this game this time. Thanks Nep!
If you set the night glasses on scp 914 to "very good", it provides you with a useful blue night glasses that will detect all entities within a radius of 50m (I think) and that detection has a 9 second recharge, when the recharge reaches 0, the glasses will update (which will also count as a blink) and show you the entities again. On the other hand if you put them in "fine", it will give you some red glasses, with a greater distance range and infinite battery. Edit: 21:15 If you go there, you will find a bulletproof vest, which will slow you down but will protect you from the bullets shot by the MTF soldiers and the kind sr who shoots you at the gate B ending
Wow! It's like watching a walkthrough of SCP:CB by Nepheron *but* with a commentary XD In all seriousness though this was great, the responses to the scps were hilarious, hearing your insights with a voice is really different from when you didn't do commentary, all in all great :)
My few cents from doing Euclid Item-SCP-Smuggling Achievement runs a lot: 1. You do not need to close every door behind you (though it's safer if you do in Keter). If you know peanut's in a room though, you wanna put 2 closed doors between you and him (or lure him into a keydoor room and lock him in), as peanut has a bad habit of sometimes opening doors when you look away, but doesn't actively chase you if you are at least 2 rooms down from him. Even if you aren't using open doors as a method of navigation (if you have the NAV Ultimate for example), you can still see clearly 2 rooms down and can even spot SCPs spawning from 3 rooms down using NVGs, giving you a nice intel advantage. 2. Grab the wallet in the stair room where Peanut kills the 2 guys. With it you can store keycards, coins (of which there are 2 already in the wallet), and SCP-860. This is a great option for early-game inventory expansion, saving inventory slots that would otherwise be occupied by SCP-860 (or of you're a keycard grinder like me, multiple separate keycards and other cards). 3. On the topic of keycard grinding, you want to nab yourself at least 4 or 5 seperate keycards (including playing cards and MasterCards) for the purposes of grinding for a level 5 early on in 914 (hence why I carry a wallet). The more cards you have, the greater your chance of acquiring a level 4 and subsequently level 5 from upgrading on Fine (or Omni when you come to get the achievement). The most efficient way to do this is to upgrade every key to level 3, save, then repeatedly upgrade all of the level 3s simultaneously, loading the game every failure until you succeed, Then save, and upgrade the level 4 to a 5, loading if it doesn't work (which isn't nearly as likely, as Level 4 to 5 is a 3/4 chance whereas Level 3 to 4 is a 1/20 chance). I do advise getting your hands on 1499 before starting such a grind though, as you don't want to be interrupted by Larry spawning in and chasing you. 4. On 1499, not only is it good for despawning/resetting hostile entities (though for anything other than Larry and Doggos, you'll want to wait a while before leaving 1499 dimension), it also serves as an effectively infinite storage. Anything you drop inside 1499 never despawns, so you can run and find a building with a small and relatively enclosed space that the locals in the dimension rarely spawn in, and use it as your getaway/storage for anything you want to keep that you don't have inventory space for since you always spawn in the same spot you left upon entering 1499. 5. If you enjoy playing on Euclid difficulty, make sure to take a mental note of where your save monitors are (both video footage TVs and computer screens displaying text). Rooms that would otherwise serve little purpose become valuable lifelines for when you need them (for example, 895's room has a monitor you can save at (or two if you're wearing 714 and don't turn off the video footage screen). 6. Along with the black severed hand that allows you to bypass the 049 basement, there is a white severed hand that spawns in 012's chamber that can allow you to take a shortcut through the large testing chamber and give you access to an otherwise inaccessible room in 079's chamber that has a computer screen that has lore on it (and if you play Euclid like I usually do, provides you with a valuable extra saving location to turn to). You want the 714 ring before going in so you don't contribute your blood to 012. 7. You will only ever need to pick up/use 1 battery throughout the game, and that is to refill the Doggo basement NVGs until you go to 914 and upgrade them on fine. All of the electronics in-game can be upgraded to have infinite battery life, negating the need to find batteries to power them. 8. There are 2 500 pills in the game, which can be acquired by going into the maintenance tunnels or 035's containment room and waiting for 035 to cough up the code for the pin door in the room (the pin isn't randomized, so once you hear it you can always remember the door's code). Once you acquire a pill of 500, I highly recommend going back to Light containment and upgrading the pill in 914 on Fine. Doing so will net you 427, arguably the most useful item SCP in the game along with 1499. It essentially serves as a combination of the pill and a medkit that is also reusable and heals over time, making enemies that deal non-lethal damage per blow (966, and to a certain extent the MTF) much less of a threat. Just be careful not to overuse 427, or you'll become a flesh beast, resulting in a (albeit badass) death message. 9. If you want to deal with hostile SCP entities (except for Larry) in a manner that makes them a non-issue for a certain amount of time, you can lure them into keycard rooms and lock them inside, trapping them until you move far enough away for them to despawn. This is especially useful if you're going to be staying in a certain area for an extended period of time, as the SCPs trapped will not be able to despawn as you aren't far enough away for them to do so. 10. When exiting elevators, always be prepared for something to be on the other side. This includes blinking before the door opens and preemptively wearing 714 if 049 is on the other side. Coming out of an elevator is one of the worst places to be caught off guard. 11. In 035's containment chamber, you can pick up SCP-148 (named "metal panel" in-game) for an achievement and potential use via refinement in 914 (making gas mask/hazmat suit resistant to memetics effects (and in the case of the hazmat, everything relating to 035)). To get it safely, you want to wear the 714 ring to not take damage from 035's corrosive slime and go around the main pedestal on the left side to not get hit by the tentacles that spawn inside (as the left tentacle always spawns first, which takes time to finish the spawning animation. Going left allows you to bypass the tentacles before they can fully spawn in). I recommend having 2 inventory slots available in case you accidentally grab the radio that is also inside the chamber before you pick up the panel of 148. That was my 2 cents as far as my extra tip list goes. What do you think, Neph?
For me in SCP: CB Mobile, i usually get as much lvl1's i can find to make an omni. If it doesn't work, find SCP-1162 and just spam until you have many lvl1's again.

Another small(ish) detail is that MTF can spot you via cameras, so if you're having trouble with MTF try staying out of any camera's sight.
oh i didn't know that thanks
Such a smart detail.
Cameras are a thing?
@@counterfeit1148 yeah, you can see this in the LCZ control room, all the cameras are fully functional.

Kristallijn553
Who do I be leave
Why would it be useless? If the plague doctor is around and you don’t have it you have to go out your way to avoid him
@@literally_lukey4692 Because unless you are willing to have a free inventory space or SCP-1499's dimension as a storage there is no use in carrying it.
In my opinion 714 just isn't worth it :/
Not the hero we deserve but the hero we needed. Great tutorial learned a lot of things I didn’t know
how this game hasn't gained more publicity and notoriety by now is beyond me. it is hands down one of the greatest, if not the greatest, indie horror game in recent memory due to the sheer magnitude of its lore details.

I didn't expect that gently and calmly voice! A good contrast with this kind of game
I'm not even familiar with this RUclipsr and I'm grateful for this level of calm in playing
I'll break it down for you
First when you spawn in, go to a certain room, it should have a gas mask, level 1 keycard and some battiers
Then go to the light containment chamber, keep your eyes on SCP 173 and get the level 2 keycard and the navigator.
Go to one of the elevators in LCZ and sneak past 939 to get night vision googles and a black severed hand then go back
Go to 914, put the level 2 keycard on fine for level 3 keycard, put the navigation deivce and gas mask on very fine and you get SNAV ultimate which can detect SCPs and the heavy gas mask which makes u run infinitely, optionaly also throw in the night vision googles for a better version.
Go to the surveillance room then run past 049
Go to heavy containment zone and enter
Go to 049's chamber for the level 4 keycard and avoid him
Go to 106's chamber for the level 5 keycard, contain him if you want or don't contain him if you want one of the gate A endings
Go to the enterance zone and go to the electric room and disable remote control
Go back to the heavy containment zone and go to 079's chamber and speak with him, he will then ask you to re enable remote control and he will let you go through gate A or gate B, and just avoid MTF, your welcome.
Bruh did she really say "go away" to 173?

Just found your channel!! Would never play scp containment breach myself but watching you go through the game is so entertaining :)
Same, but I play the multiplayer mod

Somehow the 939 tunnels were the hardest part of the game, but the 049 tunnels were also equally as hard

My few cents from doing Euclid Item-SCP-Smuggling Achievement runs a lot:
