How to remove Toyota fender liner clips on a N70 Hilux without breaking - grommets & screws remove

If you want to remove your fender or your fender liner, you are going to come across the Toyota fender liner retaining grommets. These can be bought in packs of 10 from Toyota (Part No. 90189-06220) and are inexpensive, but you shouldn't break them if you remove them correctly.
The trick to know going in is that if you are expending a lot of effort - you are doing it wrong. They should pop out easy.
