Kingdom Hearts Dark Road's Finale gave a TON of insight from the past to the future of the series! Here are My Top 10! Lets get them shares Up! Likes to 1000 and *SUBSCRIBE!*
Wasn't the darkness inside Baldr not one of the true darknesses? The darkness said in dark road that it wasn't a true darkness but rather just the darkness born from Baldrs heart
Where the heck is the X-Blade!? I'm getting upset that all this lore surrounding this "Ultimate Key" so far is a COMPLETE LIE! The Ancient Keyblade Wielders did not fight over the X-Blade during the Keyblade War, it was not split between 7 Lights and 13 Darknesses as a result of said war, and it has ABSOLUTLY NO RELEVENTS to the new lore being established in this series outside of the Dark Seeker Saga. Was the story about the X-Blade a lie in the same matter that Nobodies having no hearts was a lie?
@HMK I think that we already know who the MOM is without us the fans knowing... The M.O.M. could be a PARALLEL TIMELINE Sora Hikari aka Soranort. The M.O.M. could also be Yozora as well. Ava herself could be the TRUE LIGHT that Luxu put within the capsule if not SUBJECT X aka Skuld. All we know is that The M.O.M. has BLUE EYES, so who all do we know that has BLUE EYES and that his LEFT EYE is missing hence The EYE within the GAZING EYE or NONAME. Also HMK, if you were to zoom in on the text bubble where The M.O.M. said his name and the blank bars are a total of THREE, so what name has three letters that we've not seen yet? The M.O.M. name could it possibly be... Lux?
My favorite reveal is the trauma of having lost 11 classmates scarred Eraqus so much that he decided that his way of making the mark of mastery would be light balls and casual sparring.
Also another thing is that by going to the Underworld, Xehanort and Eraqus were able to speak with Hoder (Baldr's sister) and the upper classman, who ended up in the Final World. Meaning that this explains why in KH4 Donald and Goofy are in the Underworld.
I really wonder who Donald and Goofy are trying to locate in the underworld tho. I dont think they are looking for Sora cause they know Sora is still living somewhere since everyone can still remember him :)
@@Nyla_emotes Think it’s more that Donald and Goofy would likely have the same logic Eraqus and the others had. Why not ask someone from the underworld for help? Granted persuading Hades is the real fight.
Thinking part of Sora likely being the singularity is likely the byproduct of the True Darknesses and the Master of Masters turning Xehanort (Who very much matches every definition to be The Child Of Destiny) to the dark. Ironically, the MoM created the thing that would break his own script. Also that theory fits nice as it calls back to how Riku's Keyblade inherited to him via Terra went to Sora after Riku went to the dark.
I think you're mostly 'right on the money' (If you know you know😏). I also believe that Sora either has misicule blood ties to one of the lost Masters or, more likely, is similar to Anakin Skywalker in that he was probably created by Kingdom Hearts itself to destroy the True Darknesses and the Lost Masters who in Kingdom Hearts' eyes are the False Lights. That is also why we only heard Sora's mom and know nothing about his father not even how he sounds which could indicate that there just was no father.
@@EUM_NEMESIS Nah Sora has a father; we hear Sora mention him in BBS. Instead, I think it's more likely that Sora is the next incarnation of the player character. It really ties together a lot of the narrative if Sora is the player character. Why was Sora's heart able to have instinctual knowledge on melding hearts when it was first born. Why did his heart go to Ven to help (if Sora is the player character, it gives a motive, and the means, plus the player character died in destiny island, also putting him in the right place.) Why is Sora extremely concerned about the dream eaters after DDD and has to go off on a 'secret' journey to ensure their still safe. (Well, if he's the player character, those are his friends, and his heart instinctually is able to see their hearts in the dream eaters and wants to confirm their safety). How and why did Ephemere help Sora in the keyblade graveyard alongside summoning the keyblades of the past daybreak warriors. (if Sora is the player character and has already met the hearts of the players who turned into dream eaters, most of them would probably want to help him out, and Ephemere would definitely show up to help the player character after learning the truth that the player character died to seal away 4 of the darknesses and let Ephemere get away safely.) Sora being the player character also allows Straletzia's ark tie up nicely, of wanting to meet the player character again, something that is unresolved if he doesn't come back in some form.
@@t_g_gamerftw5075 wow I think I like so many of your ideas I read on these comments so far! Would be super nice to discuss more with you on Discord! Do you have one?
Wouldn't it be going right along with his script? Based on everything we know about his character he genuinely wants to destroy darkness, but is kinda stuck because it's prophesized that darkness will win (since he saw it). If anything Sora would be his golden goose in order to come out on top.
Given how the reveal about how Kingdom Hearts can be summoned for real, I think the true interpretation is that 20 lights are required, 13 of which must have fallen to darkness and clash with the remaining 7. Whether the X-Blade has any real purpose in this true summoning probably won't be revealed or denounced until down the line. Maybe even Missing Link will give us that answer. I also stand by my idea of Xehanort WAS the child of destiny but, like Riku when he lost the right to wield the Keyblade, it was revoked when he turned to darkness.
On the point of the 'true way' to summon Kingdom Hearts HMK, personally i think its all different methods that lead to the same result. the first method is 7 pure light fused together. the second method is 1 pure light and 1 pure darkness of equal force fusing together. the third method is the clash of 7 lights and 13 darkness's we saw in KH3. and the forth and newest method is 13 lights being consumed by the darkness of chaos. all were said to be the true way to summon and/or reach Kingdom Hearts when they were introduced, yet now we know otherwise realistically this is probably because the writers don't want to constrain themselves, but from a lore standpoint i feel that this is a way of saying just as the heart has many different natures, so to are there many different ways to summon Kingdom Hearts, but that's just my theory.
the wiki has their own interpretation (at least for the X-blade). the wiki says only reunited the 7 pure lights (Princesses heart) and the original 13 darkness (which were locked away or sealed) could produce the original X-blade which presumably the orginal method of summoning KH. Xehanort method in KH3 seemed closest to this method.
@@redlox2 Good point, but i've never read it that way an think the the 13 pure darkness of the X-blade are an entity we have yet to see, say a reverse of the princesses of heart. that's just a theory though.
Dark road finale made me like xehanort I had a soft spot thinking he was player reincarnated but knowing he was basically sora who chose a different path is insane ! Great video bro
@@13thdarkness 7 inside foretellers 4 lock by player = 11, in DR Odin said 2 was missing or gone but not for sure. 2 left one in ventus one in Baldr (iam 90% confirm they just lie us ) or 2 lock in black box.
@@Shej Okay but that's just a guess. There's no way to know or prove what happened to the other Darkness after Luxu faced it so it's still up in the air
My biggest revelation is that Sora is possibly the third lifetime of the player character. And we've been trying to help our friends throughout the ages. As seen by player character being helped by Ephemer and Sora being helped Ephemer. And the connection between Sora and Ventus.
But then wouldn’t Sora know that? Because the blue robe man was aware that he himself had multiple previous lifetimes: player character in UX and player character in upcoming missing link. The missing link character is aware because they are us - the actual people playing this game- that knew of the events of the previous mobile game UX. (It’s a bit meta but that’s how it is)
@@Atlas92936 Not necessarily, at this time, we do not know when the blue robe figure was able to recover and recall their memories from their previous life. And we don't know when in the story of missing link - at what point we are able to recover that missing link to remember our character's past life. And there is precedence with CoM - Just because Sora has "forgotten" doesn't mean that his heart has. Perhaps, Sora in his quest against the Lost Masters will recall that missing link to bridge the series. Who knows? Nomura Knows.
Bro, the Master of Masters having the ability to Manipulate/Copy a person's Keyblade and powers was shocking. He's gonna be a BIG problem throughout the future of Kingdom Hearts
Nah, it gets even worse if he can use our Form Changes after stealing/copying our Keyblades. If Nomura goes in that direction when we fight MoM, Sora is screwed.
My favorite revelation in Dark Road was the fact that if Xehanort hadn't become the Dark Seeker, someone else would have. It seems as though he wasn't originally going to be the Dark Seeker. I had a feeling about this since KH3's ending, maybe a little bit before that too. But seeing what happens with Baldr really solidified that feeling for me. Also, Baldr now is on my list of favorite kingdom hearts villains. I really do hope we get an actual boss fight (secret boss, flashback boss, Data boss, whatever.) against Baldr and his Heartless in a future game.
I did not know that our player character from Union Cross is actually the man in the hood taking care of baby xanort (close enough) since he died what if he was reincarnated again as sora! let that sink in for a second.
I think the reveal that the MoM can take people's keyblades adds credence to the idea that he could be an alternate/future version of Sora, as he was able to take Roxas' in their fight. I had a theory of my own about that that ties into Quadratum but the KH reddit kept refusing to show it...
That's because Riku was the Kingdom Key's original/intended wielder. It was a matter of ownership. The KK went back to Sora because his heart was stronger than Riku's at that point.
It's the concept of 13 lights that I've been guessing at with the chess game for a while. If we take the trios (Sora, Riku, Kairi, Aqua, Terra, Ven, Roxas, Xion, Lea/Axel, Mickey, Donald, and Goofy), and put them together, that puts us at 12. Number 13 could be Naminé, Isa, or even Yozora. If we absolutely wanted to have all 3 of them, taking Donald and Goofy out of the running is a possibility too. I would rather keep them in the list because they've been there since day 1, but I can understand why they wouldn't be
@@madmansephiroth1 yeah (i dont think Donald and Goofy even count as 13 light, maybe be mickey but i dont like him XD hope not, prefer Yozora or even Skuld ava idk )and we will have Union X Trion
One thing to note is at the end of their game the only piece left was Sora. He’s probably going to invert the prophecy that thirteen lights must be consumed by thirteen darknesses and instead become the light that can consume the darkness. Making Sora the true key to kingdom hearts. That’s probably what M.o.M’s plan is. To make a light that can consume the darkness, completely flipping the script.
Sora is obviously the Child of Destiny: All of the criteria stated the Player / Xehanort’s caretaker only applies to him and we see him break down each of those points throughout the Xehanort Saga. Most of all, he IS the main character of the franchise and it only makes sense.
Just like the Player "obviously" reincarnated as Xehanort at the end of UX. You would think people would learn to stop taking these things at face value.
@@Kyosukedono well he is the only character we saw so far who could dive into the hearts of others, feel what they were feeling and help them find the way to light. So in my opinion Sora is the true child of destiny. But Xehanort was super important for Sora’s growth and without Xehanort nothing would have happened. So both of them are extremely important. Anyway the most important characteristic is that Sora was the one able to change destiny, so that is my proof for this theory until other things would come up otherwise
@@Nyla_emotes that is your own headcanon and that's fine but I am glad that you're not the one writing KH. The whole point of Sora is being a completely normal boy that raises above any obstacles not because of his own strength but because of his friends. One thing is the ability to connect to other people's hearts as easily as Sora can, another thing entirely is how Xehanort can literally read what is in your heart like it was his own. That is why he is the child of destiny. Where not for Xehanort, Sora would still be at the islands doing homework. Sora is a complete nobody and that is the point of his character and always will be.
@@Kyosukedono first there is no reason to insult I would say. The fun of theorizing is to be able to share and confront opinions. Anyway I can agree with you but what we saw so far is that Xehanort could detect darkness in people. We didn’t have any proof that he could connect with others at all.
You forgot that they also pretty much confirmed that Skuld is Xehanorts great-great gandmother, given that he mentioned how similar she looks to his own mother.
All Xehanort said is that she has black hair like his mother. And besides that, we don't know exactly how the family tree works. If Xehanort's father is the one descended from Ephemer, the whole idea that Skuld and Ephemer somehow reunited and had children goes out the window. Which, as an aside, would also be a terrible narrative decision; there'd be no point to the tragedy of their separation at the end of UX if her pod simply left her in the exact same time period as Ephemer anyways.
No. The interview said that Xehanort's mom is connected to Skuld (like maybe a sister or cousin that survived the war, or maybe wasn't even a keyblade wielder so that person might have not even lived in Daybreak Town) but there was no mention of a direct linage to Skuld. Though it is likely Ephemera had a type, and did potentially marry one of Skuld's relatives, or one of those relative's descends had eventually married into family line.
@@Dracomata But how would he be able to marry Skuld's lineage if Skuld should technically be the first one to it since she came to the new world with him in the ark? The only way the mother could be related to Skuld is if Skuld is her ancestor.
Best one was that you can go to the underworld to talk to dead people even if they were not from the hercules world, which explains why donald and goofy were there in that KH4 trailer
I still keep thinking back on when Xehanort was talking to Eraqus about wanting to live 13 lives and then brings up a 14th life to travel across worlds. (Yeah, I know people say that that could just be referencing Xion and I'm sure that is part of it, but I still wonder if there's more to it than that.)
The amount of planning/foreshadowing that Tetsuya Nomura did to make everything in Dark Road make sense is just incredible. How he found Ventus makes sense now & many more reveals.
Honestly, considering they sent one of Ephemers descendants to destiny island to protect them from darkness and try to fulfill the prophecy, it wouldn't surprise me if they sent others for protection or for the prophecy.
THE REVEALS WERE AMAZING!!! When Dark Road is completed, I really hope Square will give us a full CGI movie theater of the game! I want to see all these events in 4K cutscene quality on the PS5!
My fave reveal is that Yen Sid is actually Keyblade Master Odin, but yeah his way of Mark of Mastery which is sink or swim method to the alien worlds is definitely a personal trait of his looking back at Xehanort, Eraqus, Mickey, Sora, and Riku's tests as if losing 11 students in a year isn't scarring enough. Eraqus and Xehanort both train they're students from apprentice to master close to them most likely out of trauma of their own Mark of Masteries.
The most striking thing to me was to see Xehanort search for his friends his whole life just to basically kidnap the poor Ventus and use him to get a pure darkness versus a pure light. If that is his idea of rescuing friends life really thaught him some nasty lesson I would say. I cannot forget THAT scene in BBS. Then maybe it was all a misunderstanding and maybe it was the only way to save Ventus. If this is the case I hope they will explain it much better cause for years we grew with that scene in our minds. Not so easy to erase it by asking a magic mirror I would say :D Second thing is that you chose the 10 most striking revelations while clearly we needed at least 13 :D
I don't think Xehanort really intended for Ven to be hurt. He was trying to get the darkness that was possessing Ven out of him but doing so damaged his heart and causes Vanitas to run off with part of it. Xehanort even supposedly tries to help Ven overcome his hearts damage, but isn't able to, and takes him back to his childhood home to die peacefully. And when he survives, he makes sure to put him in an environment where his light will grow until it's strong enough to take on Vanitas. Plus remember that although he doesn't remember, thanks to his time travelling in DDD, his younger self's heart already knows that his plan to summon kingdom hearts in BBS is set to fail, and that Ventus will survive. Xehanort didn't want Ventus to remain possessed by a darkness, and grow up to be another Baldr, who goes and kills all his friends. He took extreme measures to prevent that. We clearly see when Ven and Vanitas are reunited, that Vanitas is instantly able to control Vens body and tries to kill his friends, meaning that Ven was an inherent danger and could not be friends with anyone before Vanitas was removed from him. Eraquis on the other hand, only realizes way to late that Ventus has a darkness that Xehanort is trying to reunite with him, and Eraquis rightfully so, doesn't want to end up like Odin and watch one of his students kill his other students and then have to kill the remaining one, and having learnt his lesson from Baldr, where their hesitation leads to huge sacrifice.
@@t_g_gamerftw5075 I think I agree until we learn more at least. Xehanort straight up told Vanitas that he was doing this for Ventus and not for him. I do still find it slightly odd though that he would pit Ven against Vanitas even if he knew in his heart that it wouldn't succeed, because that should've been vague enough that his better reason would prevent him from putting Ven in that situation if he really had the best intentions for him in mind. There might be more to the situation that we haven't learnt yet however, but as it stands it does seem that Xehanort was looking after Ven to a degree.
@@t_g_gamerftw5075 yes I think you guys are onto smt! But I still hope that they will explain it even better in the future cause this whole Ventus thing is super important I would say. As we know “true darkness” is a quite rare thing (in total there are “only” 13) I expect also “true light” to be not so common (7 or 13 is not really clear at this point probably). And the fact that Ventus basically was such an important part of the past has to mean something (or so I hope). I guess this would link to the 7 crowns Mom mentioned when talking with Darkness in the past.
This could be showing how to give darknesses bodies without letting them die with the light bearers. Bentos probably had a much weaker darkness in hun so xehanort saw it as an opportunity to try and save him and hopefully get insight into the future of how to save his other friends too. However the experiment failed as he became obsessed and Ventura ended up destroying his heart anyway.
But I thought in UX, he talked about a plan for escaping to a world without light or darkness, a “_____ world”, and, I thought, uh, I thought that a symbol used for quadratum, was also used in place of that “_____” in the jp version iirc ??
But people can’t mentally handle that reality so they desperately cope to convince themselves that is not the case. You need to ease them in over time probably with medicine till they can accept it
Sora's quote say to Xehanort or to other keyblade masters in Scala Caleum: "A real leader who beyond to controll and accepts it's fate" Even it reminds the time that this history will be it's purpose.
First off, I wanna say it's been so amusing to see everyone's reactions. I couldn't help but smile when I saw your videos to the finale. With that being said, it lead me to quite a few of theories; - the events of the finale made me want to visit the final world in kh3 where you're able to talk to all the nameless stars other than namin'e and the infamous nameless star we know as the one after yozora. However their dialog didn't quite match up to any relations to the past of the fallen keyblade warriors in xehanort's time. Then again, we don't really know full detail of some of the characters' backstory. -this isn't really much of a theory, but I wanna say it felt good that we all got a theory right when it came to the reveal of bragi being luxu. I was more excited than shocked because most of us got that part right, even though I was on my toes with Nomura since he likes to switch things up on us just when we have something figured out. But speaking of the reveal, it makes me wonder how did it end up like that in the first place? Did luxu as brain's body come to Odin passing the no name keyblade/(gazing eye) to him then jump to the next body thus the reason why he was able to wield the gazing eye? And if that's the case I wonder what Odin was dealing with if he saw "two brains"; one giving him no name while the other gives him master defender. -also since we're on the topic of Odin, I remember in your video that you said he can't be yen sid because he said that he studied with eraqus and xehanort. Perhaps yen sid could have been vague about it and because a teacher can study with their students for they are students themselves. Eraqus did say that Odin was planning to go a small world that's cozy for him and the only small world we know is master yen sid's tower. I know it's a bit of a stretch and I could be wrong but I just have that gut feeling. -so now we know that ephemer is xehanort's great, great grandfather. And xehanort's mom is highly resemblant to skuld, but most of the events of union cross/dark road leads to having subject x to be skuld, but in the back of my mind I still believe there's a small chance that subject x is ava; the reports states that subject x has black hair (like skuld) but we don't know what ava looks like underneath her mask. It also states that she constantly mumbled "may your heart be your guiding key..." and we've heard ava say it more than skuld, in fact I can't recall skuld ever saying that line. However I do want skuld to be subject x so that way her character can have more significance to the story but by the way they're portraying her to be the possible grandmother of xehanort's mom, it doesn't add up to how skuld travels forward in time through the ark/lifeboat to be in the events of axel/lea and Isa/saix where they keep breaking into the castle of radiant garden. -now as far as the master of masters goes, there's been a theory going around that his name could be Vanitas since the rest of the lost masters have names after the seven deadly sins; Vanitas is translated to vanity and that's the last sin missing amongst the foretellers. Maybe he named the extracted darkness from ven "vanitas" because it once reminded him of the master when he revealed his name to xehanort. - and now we know about 13 lights to become darkness to summon kingdom hearts (or something like that) I think that's why they're 13 locks in the black box that luxu hid. 7 of them have a bigger and more fancier design than the other 6 locks. Perhaps the 7 represents the 7 deadly darknesses within the foretellers and the 6 are the remaining willful darknesses. Then again, where do the 7 crowns come in?? However it goes to show that "we have and always will be thirteen..." -now it just came to me that what if riku had some kind of relation to xehanort? Kinda reminded me of a video you made back in the day "riku is xehanort." Riku still kinda has some sort of mystery, all we know is that he saw the keyhole flash on the door to the world of destiny islands in his childhood. As Terra bequeathed the power to wield the keyblade to riku, he mentioned that he "heard about a kid who left the island once, I bet he's super strong now!" And images of riku as a teenager and xehanort and ansem flashed before Terra. This is also a bit of a stretch but riku shares certain resemblances with both xehanort and ephemer (besides the obvious white hair) -lastly, where does demyx come into place?? I was hoping dark road would cover that and he could have been part of the upper classmen....(...obviously not...) maybe he'll have a role in missing link. I'm so glad that we're talking kingdom hearts again with new content. That year of withdrawals was unbearable! I can't wait for any new theories you have next video!
Makes you wonder if the reason why Sora was sent to Quadratum not because he abused the Power of Waking but a way for the Universe to give Sora some kind of helping hand? We are told right away The MoM can manipulate Keyblades and they won't work against him most likely. What If Sora will learn how Yozora fights and have a weapon similar to his? It's a HUGE stretch of the imagination I know but who the hell knows at this point
Still think it's funny how Blue Hood said the Destiny Child will come from Destiny Island and thought it was Xehanort... But bruh... Xehanort was not from Destiny Islands, he came from Scala, *you* brought him there!
My Favourite secret from Dark Road was Bragi being another of Luxu’s vessels and since Xehanort is the descendent of Ethamira I guess it shows that him and Eraqus were meant to be friends since their Great Great Grandfathers were friends if Eraqus is a descendent of Brain.
The ability to take others Keyblades is a powerful ability, but you have to realise it was hinted back in KH2, during the fight with Roxas, you can temporarily relieve him of his Keyblades. I assume Sora is able to do this easily to Roxas because he is his Nobody, but being able to do this with anyone is a huge advantage
Thanks for the recap of big reveals for Dark Road! I thought two of your points stood out a lot. 1. The Master of Master's ability to take keyblades away from their user. I think I can recall an instance in Kingdom Hearts 1 where Riku takes the Keyblade from Sora in Hallow Bastion. Maybe we can argue that Ansem had something to do with this ability, but perhaps...? 2. In Kingdom Hearts 3, the loading screen has those "twitter post" (sorry, its been a little while) style entries from various characters. Riku has one in particular that always interested me, he comments on how him and Xehanort share the same hair color and how he wonders if there's some connection there? Now that we have confirmation on Xehanort and Ephemer being related, do you maybe think Riku belongs to the same lineage? I think these two theories also do well to support each other on Riku having a lot more planned for him in the following games. Thanks again!
To me, the biggest reveal was the Thrteen Lights, since I always thought they were darkness, which thinking about it more... makes sense. If Kingdom Hearts is light why would it be made up of darkness, meaning it wouldn't have started out like that.
My favorite revelation is finding out that Odin is yensid after hearing what eraqus said at the end if dark road then again it could be a trap set by namura but they way eraqus explained Odin after what happend and what Odin planned to do afterwards that just screamed yensid
Yensid supposedly studied with Eraquis and Xehanort. Seems more likely to me that Odin either took one more student on after retiring, or he was part of another class taught by Odin who were not caught up in the massacre. Also, Eraquis only says that Odin decided to stop taking in students like a year after the incident if I recall correctly, which may mean he took in one last student before deciding to quit.
Just watch I mean why would they put specific details of what happend to Odin after the final he's unrecognizable he's not taking any more students he's settling down on a small world he's retiring meaning he's not a master no more. keeping an eye on light and darkness wouldn't be a problem for him I just think their are to many clues to ignor to think he's not Odin unless nomura trying to pull a fast one I wish sombody could ask nomura this
@@epixentlightbearer1204 Nomura was pretty good at matching the characters to the Norse gods they’re named after, with Xehanort taking the place of Loki. Yen Sid would be a good analogy for Odin but unless we see his other eye to see if he has one or not I am not convinced. Not to mention Odin is way too old to possibly be Yen Sid unless he travels to the future.
Unless we see some connection in missing link or kh 4 we may never know I know theirs other things to go crazy over but if xheanort eraqus and yensid interacted together before I wanna see It in some kinda cutscene lol 🤣 yensid Is the only other wielder that we know of that's retired besides Odin unless they are the same person I meane eraqus doesn't specifically say in bbs why yensid is not a master anymore and we know he was reluctant to take micky on as a apprentice I don't know maby I'm reading to much into it
This all makes me think more and hammers in the that I feel we could see Sora slowly become more of a Xehanort/Eraqus character over time. Not necessarily in a villain sense either. It’s all from the matter of perspective and beliefs in a way, based on different worlds too. Sora’s in a new place and will likely come to learn more about the ancient past stuff and what role he may truly end up playing through his next adventure. He’ll always be Sora, but depending on how this story all progresses, his dynamic and role could slightly change. Soo excited for the future arc!
After playing and watching the darkroad cutscenes 5 times 💀 The scene where xehanort is talking to vanitas about the darkness and questioning him was interesting to me. And i love the scene with bragi and baldr
since we're exploring bloodlines, I wouldn't be surprised at all if riku is a descendant of ephemer/xehanort, and sora being a descendant of the player
For Kingdom Hearts if you think about it that was probably the true goal of Xehanort's Org13, he took people of Light and plunged them into darkness. And as a backup plan he got his past selves to make up for anyone who returned back to light.
The thing is… we HAVE 13 lights now. Sora, Riku, Kairi, Mickey, Donald, Goofy, Ven, Terra, Aqua, Xion, Roxas, Lea, Namine, and Yen Sid. Now, whether or not the last two count is another matter, but the fact is the stage is set.
Is Sora really the chosen one or would it be Riku. Because Sora is kind of an outlier (some sort of singularity or wild card) ever since Kingdom Hearts 1. Also I feel that Yozora has a part of Sora in him ever since Sora was a heartless for that tiny bit. It can probably explain why Yozora is able to use Sora's keyblade
So if the 7 darknesses are the foretellers, Luxu and the Master of Masters, then the 13 lights would be the Destiny trio, the Clocktower trio, the Wayfinders, Mickey, and two other keyblade wielders. But we don't know who the last two lights will be.
...you know...the sad part is...I actually fucken CALLED that 7 darks vs 13 lights was gonna be a thing! Though I was surprised that AVA the fox was a darkness! What the heck?!
Hm, i think my favorite reveal was the Fact that the Blue-Robed Figure were Player and not Xehanort, Speaking of which, i wonder what has become of Player’s Heart now? Did it finally Pass-on or did it Move-on to yet another Lifetime?
I think as time went on though Luxu was questioning the morality of the Master of Master's plan but most likely towards the end of the keyblade war in the end of Kingdom hearts 3 and likely Xehanort's light was never gone within the darkness he held. So if Luxu's role was to be a traitor it's likely Luxu will betray his master as who'd really want to die by being struck down? No one. Sora is the one to show the better way.

There are two crossover fanfics between this saga and "OUAT" (I'm surprised there aren't like hundreds of them). Sora, Kairie and Riku's story was that Kairie was the princess of a kingdom in the Enchanted Forest that swore to protect the world of light, Sora was her Keyblade knight, and Riku was simply a knight. The Dark Curse separated the three of them and made Sora and Riku enemies, Kairie's fate kinda unknown. Why am I talking about this ? Ever since I read them and played "Nirvana Initiative", I have been thinking. What if the worlds'sagas is meant to suffer a complete reset ? For a new world to be born ? I guess, like Kirari and Yumeko from "Kagegurui", I want to see the universe come to its flashy end, to see its rebirth and what comes out of it. Actually...I don't think this is something recent. Ever since the first game, when Ansem talked about death, that I could only wonder how this universe's hidden side is ? What lies beyond lign and darkness ? What happens when the light separating them evaporates ? What is left ? Will the dead rise ? Will people be reborn ? The possibilities are endless. And all it takes is someone to perform the heart surgery without being manipulated by neither the power nor the characters.
Well I think now it’s clear that Odin is the master of masters because who has one eye in the Nordic mythology Odin which keyblade as an eye to see the future gazing eye and if I remember me correct that can Odin to with his powers in a way or another
I have two theories: 1: Sora is a descendant of the original keyblade welders .. or a descendant of MOM. 2: That somehow, Sora is a reincarnation or a split soul with MOM Well 3: That MOM is actually Sora... A future /past version of him. That in some way, Sora travels to the past and becomes MOM...
Correction: The darkness that took over Baldr's heart is confirmed to NOT be a True Darkness, but was instead born from the entire group's fear of darkness and, more specifically, their fear of the unknown.
Though I wonder what would happen with Xigbar's/Braig's hair if it weren't slicked back and Braig was just the name change he picked to appear gone, but also being very much alive since Bragi/Braig seems to have always been the body jump for Luxu and I wonder if that has an affect on dying, since it seems he's lived a longer time than he looks. Also I think he (Bragi as Braig) also learned to hide his ability to wield over time. Like with Xehanort, about the living beyond 1 lifetime thing. Also wasn't Xehanort and Braig always #1 and #2, like with Xemnas and Xigbar. It makes me wonder if Xehanort was a vessel for someone else (probably MoM, since Xehanort also wielded No Name/MoM's Keyblade) since I wonder if Bragi/Braig/Xigbar lived the same amount of time as Xehanort having Luxu hopped into his body. Also Luxu in Braig's/Xigbar's body being able to wield No Name. So outside of Quadratum MoM is trying to find another vessel to replace Xehanort, so yea that probably ended up being Sora (in theory) since the XBlade Keyblade got handed down to him while No Name went to Luxu, like what happened in X (Chi)/Union Cross initally with the exchange between MoM and Luxu (just in regard to the No Name).
Also wait a minute, initially 7 guardians and 7 princesses = 14 Lights The 13 lifetimes to live + 1 to travel to the worlds to fix it. So in the case of Sora in the Xehanort saga this was true. Sora ended up being 1 and 14 at the same time. Also Kairi gaining a Keyblade and becoming a guardian while being a princess of heart (albeit accidentally by touching Aqua's Keyblade and initiating an inheritance when they first met). So doesn't this mean that this group is actually two sides of the same coin Lights = Darkneses, but in balance. Which makes me doubt that Sora is going to betray everyone (from another theory) and go full darkness. Already Aqua, Riku, and Terra (even though the latter stayed possessed for a longer period of time) are balanced (or in the case of Terra, became balanced, he needs more training) between light and darkness. Just to note Aqua and Riku are the Keyblade Masters from their respective time periods at this point, well Aqua proved that Darkness can possess when you get broken down enough by negative emotions (so much so that she needed help to purge it out of her).
I Wonder how did Odin know about the plan from the Master to seal 7 of the stringest darknesses in himself and his apprentices. Did he also know that luxu might still be Around. Coul brain told someone about all This.
Besides the new lore and information I still wish we would have seen Xehanort’s eyes turn yellow. Was kind of looking forward to it, but all and all so much was revealed!
I wonder if the master of masters will be come a final or secet boss in later kh game.i dont think they would add him in kh4 as a boss but it would 100% be epic as hell to fight him later down the line
Personally I think Bragi himself is dead. That was not a fake out at all, he really is dead. Like Hades said, mortals love to sugarcoat everything, lol. The reason why his body didn't fade was because Luxu was there too. But Bragi's own heart was released, and Baldr knew that, so he counted Bragi as one of his kills, (which is true, but only for Bragi's own life) Luxu survived Bragi's death, but ONLY Luxu survived. Bragi himself was the permanent resident of the Underworld, the same one that Hades was telling Xehanort, Eraqus, Urd, and Hermod about. Luxu really did a good job at covering his tracks. Luxu didn't require Bragi's survival to ensure his own. Even in Union Cross, he didn't even require Brain to still have his heart. Luxu sent Brain's heart into the future, so when Brain appeared in Scala, he had the means of reconstructing his body. The memories passed down by Ephemer and the Book of Prophecies, and Brain's Hat was the medium. My guess is that Bragi didn't have such fortune. Thus when Luxu eventually found his next vessel, Bragi's body disintegrates, forever.
Surely that was Baldr, who opened the dark portals, no? Hades seemed surprised with the portals. I'm more interested in knowing what's up with Vor's super strength, and why she went out like a chump despite being able to lift a boulder with one arm 😄
So 13 lights need to be consumed by darkness so all the original 7 princesses of heart and the new princesses of heart are all gonna play a part in the story this should be interesting. At this time we know 10 princesses of heart who do you all think are the last 3
Wait. Wait. Wait. 13 true darkneses. 7 deadly darknesses. The black box has 20 locks. Previously stated the box would open when seven lights clash with 13 darknesses. But that already happened and the box is still closed!!

Why is Larxene missing from the dreams 😂
@HMK
I think that we already know who the MOM is without us the fans knowing...
The M.O.M. could be a PARALLEL TIMELINE Sora Hikari aka Soranort.
The M.O.M. could also be Yozora as well.
My favorite revelations were that Vor can throw boulders and Eraqus walks like a carpet.

Yeah, Xehanort makes jokes. It was a shocking revelation, but a welcome one.
@@Nyla_emotes Hades
@@arosbastion7052 yes but do you think they want to ask him to “summon” someone who is dead? Xehanort or Eraqus would make any sense?
@@Nyla_emotes
Think it’s more that Donald and Goofy would likely have the same logic Eraqus and the others had.
@@t_g_gamerftw5075 actually he said riku dad not his
Given how the reveal about how Kingdom Hearts can be summoned for real, I think the true interpretation is that 20 lights are required, 13 of which must have fallen to darkness and clash with the remaining 7.
On the point of the 'true way' to summon Kingdom Hearts HMK, personally i think its all different methods that lead to the same result.
the first method is 7 pure light fused together.
the second method is 1 pure light and 1 pure darkness of equal force fusing together.
the third method is the clash of 7 lights and 13 darkness's we saw in KH3.
and the forth and newest method is 13 lights being consumed by the darkness of chaos.
all were said to be the true way to summon and/or reach Kingdom Hearts when they were introduced, yet now we know otherwise
realistically this is probably because the writers don't want to constrain themselves, but from a lore standpoint i feel that this is a way of saying just as the heart has many different natures, so to are there many different ways to summon Kingdom Hearts, but that's just my theory.
or maybe u need to do it in this order? (but iam not that sure about it)
the wiki has their own interpretation (at least for the X-blade). the wiki says only reunited the 7 pure lights (Princesses heart) and the original 13 darkness (which were locked away or sealed) could produce the original X-blade which presumably the orginal method of summoning KH. Xehanort method in KH3 seemed closest to this method.
@@redlox2 Good point, but i've never read it that way an think the the 13 pure darkness of the X-blade are an entity we have yet to see, say a reverse of the princesses of heart.
that's just a theory though.
There are probably a bunch of ways to do it. Kairi's grandma was pretty convinced you need to go into the deepest darkness.

My biggest revelation is that Sora is possibly the third lifetime of the player character. And we've been trying to help our friends throughout the ages. As seen by player character being helped by Ephemer and Sora being helped Ephemer. And the connection between Sora and Ventus.
And if that’s right, it gives a whole new meaning to Xehanort’s line to Sora ‘you make me think of an old friend’
As somebody who loves KH, but really doesn’t like the style of Dark Road and the prequel games- theses videos are appreciated so so much
Honestly nice to see the light side have their own version of Luxu, which is the player character.

Because they are the same person
@@clovischua It's "Sora Theory (KH3/Remind/X series spoilers)"

I would rather keep them in the list because they've been there since day 1, but I can understand why they wouldn't be
You could probably replace Donald and Goofy with Lauriam and Elrena. Streletzia could make it up to 13.
Sora is obviously the Child of Destiny:
All of the criteria stated the Player / Xehanort’s caretaker only applies to him and we see him break down each of those points throughout the Xehanort Saga. Most of all, he IS the main character of the franchise and it only makes sense.
Sora cannot read the hearts of others. Sora is a normal little boy, capable of great things.
It sound like sora is child of destiny
Exactly.
People seem to not be able to mentally handle it although it is pretty obvious
@@Dracomata But how would he be able to marry Skuld's lineage if Skuld should technically be the first one to it since she came to the new world with him in the ark? The only way the mother could be related to Skuld is if Skuld is her ancestor.

Not so easy to erase it by asking a magic mirror I would say :D
Second thing is that you chose the 10 most striking revelations while clearly we needed at least 13 :D
Well there was the scene where Xehanort mentioned to Eraqus that he believed Ven to be "the one," so who knows what that meant
The body count is what shocked me the most I felt like I was reading the original Yu-Gi-Oh manga which also has a high body count
At least now we can look forward to Missing Link.
The Master is using Quadtratum as a trash bin and trapping all of the darknesses there.
But I thought in UX, he talked about a plan for escaping to a world without light or darkness, a “_____ world”,
and, I thought, uh, I thought that a symbol used for quadratum, was also used in place of that “_____” in the jp version iirc ??
@@drdca8263 Exactly. the master contains one of the darknesses within himself, after all. Its only natural he would travel to the "waste bin" as well
Xehanort was never the Child of Destiny, it was always Sora.
I think it's xehanort
But people can’t mentally handle that reality so they desperately cope to convince themselves that is not the case. You need to ease them in over time probably with medicine till they can accept it
But what if Xehanort is Sora ?
Sora's quote say to Xehanort or to other keyblade masters in Scala Caleum:
"A real leader who beyond to controll and accepts it's fate"
Even it reminds the time that this history will be it's purpose.
I find it odd that in Dark Road we could see heartless with the emblem … weren’t they created by Xehanort later in the future when he was “Ansem” ? 🤔
First off, I wanna say it's been so amusing to see everyone's reactions. I couldn't help but smile when I saw your videos to the finale. With that being said, it lead me to quite a few of theories;
- the events of the finale made me want to visit the final world in kh3 where you're able to talk to all the nameless stars other than namin'e and the infamous nameless star we know as the one after yozora.
However it goes to show that "we have and always will be thirteen..."
-now it just came to me that what if riku had some kind of relation to xehanort? Kinda reminded me of a video you made back in the day "riku is xehanort." Riku still kinda has some sort of mystery, all we know is that he saw the keyhole flash on the door to the world of destiny islands in his childhood. As Terra bequeathed the power to wield the keyblade to riku, he mentioned that he "heard about a kid who left the island once, I bet he's super strong now!" And images of riku as a teenager and xehanort and ansem flashed before Terra. This is also a bit of a stretch but riku shares certain resemblances with both xehanort and ephemer (besides the obvious white hair)
-lastly, where does demyx come into place??
Maybe a little of both
Still think it's funny how Blue Hood said the Destiny Child will come from Destiny Island and thought it was Xehanort...
But bruh... Xehanort was not from Destiny Islands, he came from Scala, *you* brought him there!
Blue robe and the people of Scala are trying to force the prophecy to work to prevent Darkness from winning.
Damn good point a lot of people are not seeing that
My Favourite secret from Dark Road was Bragi being another of Luxu’s vessels and since Xehanort is the descendent of Ethamira I guess it shows that him and Eraqus were meant to be friends since their Great Great Grandfathers were friends if Eraqus is a descendent of Brain.
My favorite revelation in Dark Road was that MoM is a time traveling merchant and tryed to sell Xehanort a black coat 😂
Riku took the keyblade in KH1 purely because he had a stronger heart at the time, and then Sora took it back the same way.
Realy trippy thinking how Ephemer shows up to help Sora in KHIII now!!!
Yen Sid is way too young to be Odin.
6:39 Something something Anakin Skywalker something something.
After playing and watching the darkroad cutscenes 5 times 💀
The scene where xehanort is talking to vanitas about the darkness and questioning him was interesting to me.
The Master of Master will be...Nomura. I won't even be surprised.
Bro I tried explaining to my friend the lore of Kingdom Hearts. It just got more difficult for them to understand
Imagine Sora's late relatives are in missing link, I say this as a partial joke but you can never count things out 😂
Is Sora really the chosen one or would it be Riku.
Yeah like Soras Nobody or Soras dark power side something like this ... he is like Sora and Riku same time
There should be a show which would act as a definitive guide to KH and keep adding episodes as the game series goes on
I learned that Xehanort is in this game
So if the 7 darknesses are the foretellers, Luxu and the Master of Masters, then the 13 lights would be the Destiny trio, the Clocktower trio, the Wayfinders, Mickey, and two other keyblade wielders. But we don't know who the last two lights will be.
...you know...the sad part is...I actually fucken CALLED that 7 darks vs 13 lights was gonna be a thing! Though I was surprised that AVA the fox was a darkness! What the heck?!
Hm, i think my favorite reveal was the Fact that the Blue-Robed Figure were Player and not Xehanort,
Speaking of which, i wonder what has become of Player’s Heart now? Did it finally Pass-on or did it Move-on to yet another Lifetime?
I think as time went on though Luxu was questioning the morality of the Master of Master's plan but most likely towards the end of the keyblade war in the end of Kingdom hearts 3 and likely Xehanort's light was never gone within the darkness he held. So if Luxu's role was to be a traitor it's likely Luxu will betray his master as who'd really want to die by being struck down? No one. Sora is the one to show the better way.
Kingdom hearts Missing link (nasce xehanort, a scala ad caelum, nell'anno della sua fondazione):
Xehanort (nove anni prima) aveva solo 9 anni (era ancora bambino, è rimasto nelle isole del destino).
Poco prima inizi dark road:
Young xehanort (title master = titolo maestro + seeker of darkness): al età 20 anni.
Nello stesso hanno lascio scala ad caelum, per partire nei vari mondi in kingdom hearts, passano svariati anni.
Saranno passati com'è minimo 47 anni.
Master Xehanort vecchio all'età 67 anni

Master Xehanort all'età 77 anni.
Passano altri 2 anni (per dare inizio l'arco narrativo birth by sleep).
Questo riassunto massimo in kingdom hearts dark road incluso l'età di xehanort (poco prima inizi birth by sleep).
Yo? HMK with a list video? What a throwback.
basically union cross ending 'implied'
-we are all Xehanort??!!!
Dark Road Ending confirm
-We are NOT Xehanort!!
We gonna be Blue Robe before this series ends 💀
Thank you so much for summarizing this because I was not playing a damn phone game lol
Well I think now it’s clear that Odin is the master of masters because who has one eye in the Nordic mythology Odin which keyblade as an eye to see the future gazing eye and if I remember me correct that can Odin to with his powers in a way or another
Odin is Yen Sid
I have two theories:
1: Sora is a descendant of the original keyblade welders .. or a descendant of MOM.
2: That somehow, Sora is a reincarnation or a split soul with MOM
Well 3:
That MOM is actually Sora... A future /past version of him. That in some way, Sora travels to the past and becomes MOM...
Correction: The darkness that took over Baldr's heart is confirmed to NOT be a True Darkness, but was instead born from the entire group's fear of darkness and, more specifically, their fear of the unknown.
This to me was the craziest kingdom hearts story or whatever you want to call it, so many deaths
That would explain why they took Sora to become one of Xehanort vessels in DDD
Also wait a minute, initially 7 guardians and 7 princesses = 14 Lights
The 13 lifetimes to live + 1 to travel to the worlds to fix it.
Sora having the same inherent abilities of Xehanort and Luxu
I Wonder how did Odin know about the plan from the Master to seal 7 of the stringest darknesses in himself and his apprentices. Did he also know that luxu might still be Around. Coul brain told someone about all This.
Luxu in Bragi's voice: Sorry Xehanort you think your life has been nothing but bad luck but the truth is the game was rigged from the start
So I guess Xehanort was Ventus’s waypoint and that’s why they appeared in the time they did
The reveals the Dark Road were pretty great
Just gasping excitedly each time XD
The thirteen darknesses are trapped in the black box. That's my prediction.
probably yes but not all darkness inside the box. MoM does talked with one of darkness in kh union cross ending which he mentioned quadratum world
I didn't even see all these cutscenes 🤯🤯🤯
It's like the 6th way to summon Kingdom hearts I've seen yet
I'm caught up on Union Road, yet I'm hesitant about Dark Road because I'm so far behind and the 4 hr cutscenes are daunting.
You forgot the most important one. It's confirmed that Xehanort shaved his head, and is in fact, not bald from hair loss
This was like watching Revenge of the Sith
Personally I think Bragi himself is dead. That was not a fake out at all, he really is dead.
Like Hades said, mortals love to sugarcoat everything, lol.
The reason why his body didn't fade was because Luxu was there too.
But Bragi's own heart was released, and Baldr knew that, so he counted Bragi as one of his kills, (which is true, but only for Bragi's own life)
Luxu survived Bragi's death, but ONLY Luxu survived.
Wouldn't Eragus be apart of Luxu bloodline technically? Cause Luxu was inhabiting Brains body? Lol just a thought
I just wanna know who talks to hades at the end of chapter 7
Surely that was Baldr, who opened the dark portals, no? Hades seemed surprised with the portals.
I'm more interested in knowing what's up with Vor's super strength, and why she went out like a chump despite being able to lift a boulder with one arm 😄
This is huge news there's a black kid! A black keyblade wielder!
What if there could be an entirely different universe where sora was the villain and organization 13 would be the heroes I think that would be cool.
Probably never happening, though I'd be lying if I said that wouldn't be interesting.
It's a twist if MoM is Nomura's self potrayal of himself in KH universe...
GOATED
@𝐭𝐞𝐱𝐭 𝐦𝐞 ⑧⑤⑧④⑧⓪①⑥⑤④ let’s go!
I hope Luxu gets a new design/ body
if Ava has a darkness
how f*cked are we?
So 13 lights need to be consumed by darkness so all the original 7 princesses of heart and the new princesses of heart are all gonna play a part in the story this should be interesting. At this time we know 10 princesses of heart who do you all think are the last 3
Wait. Wait. Wait. 13 true darkneses. 7 deadly darknesses. The black box has 20 locks. Previously stated the box would open when seven lights clash with 13 darknesses. But that already happened and the box is still closed!!
Weird also thing that Yozora is actually like Sora and Riku in one 🤔 and Yozora can get Soras Keyblade
What if yozora was the real child of destiny?
7 Black Pieces. This makes sense now
