Even though I prefer Tokyo Teams approach to Kingdom Hearts games, I have a lot of faith that Osaka Team’ll do a good job. Osaka team is really good at listening to, understanding, and responding to player feedback, which is really nice to see. They heard complaints about the gameplay feel slow so they added new finishers to make the gameplay snappy. That was very thoughtful of them to go the extra mile to create whole new moves as apposed to just adjusting frame data.

The daily life aspect could be part of that, hopefully it also goes deeper into conversing with Strelitzia and other companions should we get to choose this time around.
I feel like another thing worth mentioning is the Wooded area in the trailer is Endor, which pretty much confirms Return of the Jedi is going to be a world in 4. The AT-ST foot proves it

It'd be cool if the spirit of xehanort lived on and can speak to Sora ethereally somehow to be sort of his unofficial master and guide him in the right direction. If we get a Star Wars world, they could introduce it there when Sora learns about the force. Similar to how Vader is a villain throughout the OT but redeems himself in the end and comes back as a ghost to watch Luke. Xehanort had a similar redemption at the very end by handing Sora the X-Blade and reconciling with Eraqus. Sora never had an official Master and who better to teach him than the most notorious and powerful Keyblade Master of all time

Personally i think he should be dead and gone and they should focus more attention towards the new characters, but if they're gonna keep bringing him back I just hope he doesn't come back on some time travel bullshit again or something
It's a bit of a given and not much talked about, but I do think it is interesting that Sora is still able to summon his keyblade, despite being in a "fictional" world... or for us the real world? Even if the rules are different, his keyblade is part of him, so I suppose it makes sense! But I think it is still interesting
Could be possible Sora is still breaking the laws of reality like he did to bring Kairi back with the power of waking. His existence may even be causing the darkness to chase him to this “Fictional” world. But yeah, I like that the Key is now soul and heart bound to him, it nice to know it’s almost like his protector in that he’ll, hopefully, never be part with it again like in kh1.

I guess the question is this: What new abilities and magic can we expect in KH4 now that Sora is literally back to the start power wise?
Hopefully some full on Final Fantasy magic like Flare, Ultima, Apocalypse, Quake, Comet, and Doomsday. Maybe some new magic specific to Kingdom Hearts. I would love for KH4 to be the best in story, battle, characters, and more especially story focused. Time will tell.
One thing I want to see in KH4 is open worlds instead of the typical multiple areas, and of couse Sora interacting with the npcs much like FF7 Remake, where they can provide side quests, making the world more alive and not empty like KH3.
Nomura was already hinting at the open world idea in one of the interviews, and getting more NPC interaction in Kingdom Hearts would definitely make the gameplay more interesting.

The jungle book is still in copyright hell. When the bluray was released some years back it was only out for a couple of months. The second that Noctis especially shows up in Kingdom Hearts 4 to reveal himself as his true form, everybody is literally gonna freak out so much, that KH4 is gonna outsell every single previous game in the series. And that is a known fact.
Now I really hope that we get a trailer during either jump festa or thegameawards(this one more so because it could draw attention to more public since it's never been present in it)
And hopefully Xbox retail editions this time around aswell, I'm sad that I didn't get my physical edition for MoM, so I ended up getting the one for PS4 instead but was a shame cuz I bought kh3 for xbone when it came out, the collections didn't get one either :c. So for this I hope that there is one for Xbox once again.
I am less excited about this game and more about games surrounding it. Verum Rex, a game where Lea and Isa go looking for Skuld. A game where Lauriam and Elrena look for Strelitzia. A game where Kairi gets trained. A game where Riku accompanies Mickey to find Scala ad Caelum. A game where Ventus, Aqua and Terra follow Chirithy to the keyblade graveyard to uncover the secrets from DayBreak Town and the Dandelions and finally a game about Roxas taking Xion, Namine and Olette on a date that ends in a full blown reverse gangbang at one of Scrooge's love hotels.
EEEEEEE I'm so excited for this and the continuation of my favorite characters stories! My favorites are mostly from the Chi Series. With Luxu being my most favored one, so the Lost Master Arc will be exhilarating for me!
No clue what's going on with her and Pete. Luxu is in Quadratum, probably with the box, so it would be a challenge for her to get to it and try to get info on Quadratum. It would be quite audacious for her to try though. VERY audacious.
I'm actually super hype for this. I've always wanted a more serious, less goofy (no pun intended) KH that didn't revolve around Disney worlds and characters. I only used to play KH for the Organization 13 storylines, and Xemnas, Xehanort, etc. Plus if they really do find a way to implement Versus 13, I'd lose my sh*t. FF15 was NOT what I wanted and I prayed the day would come that we'd have the possibility to see what Versus 13 would be like if it was ever released. Hopefully this game will take us as close to it as possible which is more than enough for me.
i feel like the games outgrown disney and i hope they change their direction, i wouldnt mind keeping donald and goofy but im happy for them to send sora in a completely new direction
I wanna see what happens now that he was given the power of the x blade at the end of KH3. Does he get new powers that he needs to learn to control? We were never really told exactly what the weapon did or what powers it had… We were just told its nature and that was about it. I hope it explores a little bit more of that. I also really like the idea of doing some or all of the next adventure with only sora. So far every game with him in it, he has had help, friends alongside him to help bail him out. We never really got a gauge of his actual power until you started removing those friends from the equation and letting him do things on his own… Then you got to see how powerful he really was. I want to see him a lot more of that in the future games. The game can keep telling us "his friends are his power," but let's face it - - he is the one swinging the Keyblade, not his friends. Let him flex his skills.
This leaker on Twitter said a new trailer for KH4 is set to be released at Game Awards this year. He might've also leaked Star Wars as a world and KH4's opening.
I wouldn't put any eggs in that basket, the first trailer already heavily implies Star Wars and knowing the "opening" only after one trailer is incredibly overreaching
Keep in mind, the entertainment industry often gives different pieces of information to different people, so if any of that info comes out, they immediately know who the leaker is. Sometimes the information provided is false, specifically to test whether a given person is trustworthy. Just because this leaker got information doesn't mean what they got is true.
thought i would bring up something random but very relevant in terms of the character design and the colors associated with these character designs over the years. everyone has noticed that Sora's outfit design in terms of color scheme has shifted ever towards the darker end of the spectrum. if you take in to account of what those colors symbolize and look at his kh4 design and how black and red it is, you can see how much in trouble he really is. red is a sign of anger or vengeance while black is a sign of power, darkness, and death. grey is indifference or neutrality and yellow as seen from his shoes in the most recent trailer 7ish months ago represents his hope however small it is. blue is completely missing from his design which would normally symbolize truth and communication. a video discussing the implications behind the color choices over the series would be pretty interesting to watch
There's actually a bit more that you're leaving out: Red can also represent things such as determination or danger, which both tie into Sora's state in Quadratum pretty well; His determination to keep himself from breaking due to the stress of the situation, but also the danger that naturally comes from being a Keyblade wielder for several years.
-Me just hoping that somehow, someway, Kingdom Hearts 4 and the Final Fantasy 7 Remake will explain all the storyline ties between FF, KH, and Smash. Wishful thinking, but I'm the kind of person who loves tying in storylines!
Ok this May Sound strange but i want Day to Day activities and side Missions in Quadratum and Sora to React to everything around him to have little comments about everything To make Quadratum really feel like Our real World in stark contrast to Our beloved fantastical and magic Adventure

I just don't want worlds that feel unfinished. The Toy Box was a big place, but nothing much going on, and an unsatisfactory ending. The Frozen world felt really small, and almost seemed like it was supposed to be bigger but they cut a portion out.

No clue; For almost every single Kingdom Hearts game, there is at least one main gimmick that's constantly rotated out and rarely returns throughout the series. For Kingdom Hearts 2, it was stuff like the Drive Gauge. For Chain of Memories, it was the card system. For Kingdom Hearts 3, it was Attractions. List goes on, and Kingdom Hearts 4 is no different with it's Scrap/Build mechanic, though Reaction Commands are apparently set to make a comeback in Kingdom Hearts 4, which already has a good template given the Reaction Commands in KH3 Re-Mind.
So Kingdom Hearts 4 delayed in 2025 But my most wanted characters in Kingdom Hearts 4 is... Luke Skywalker Mr. Incredible Nick & Judy Flik Captain America Moana & Miguel
I hope this is the game that sends off Disney for good. I will be more then ecstatic to see this game be the game that sends off Disney for good well opening new giant doors for the KH franchise. I do think it's good that Disney will be involved a bit in this game but I personally hope this is the game that sends off Disney once and for all. I have no love for Disney but I know many people do so hopefully this is the final game involving Disney and will be a game thst keeps the Disney fans coming back even after KH leaves Disney in the past for good. . Maybe a few silly small Disney EE like an occasional Mickey head or small mention of Donald and Goofy but for the most part I would love to see KH move past Disney and into a whole new world. . Sorry, but that's impossible: Disney by copyright owns the Kingdom Hearts IP. They commission Square Enix to make the games for them and have the final say over what the devs can do with their properties (including the original characters like Sora, Heartless, Org XIII, etc.). Not to mention that Disney is sorta the main foundation of the franchise: the series was created only to explore the worlds of their movies, and the Disney sections make up 80% of the gameplay content for almost every game. That by nature, means there's never going to be a game without the Disney stuff. It's what the series has always been doing for 20 years, and they're not gonna greenlight a project that doesn't include their properties.
I hope Tetsuya plans an ending for this soon. I hate to say that but I would hate it more if he'd retire or something and leave this with Square to milk it.

No clue what's going on with her and Pete. Luxu is in Quadratum, probably with the box, so it would be a challenge for her to get to it and try to get info on Quadratum. It would be quite audacious for her to try though. VERY audacious.
I guess she would try to collect the (new) seven hearts again while everyone are busy.
I'm actually super hype for this. I've always wanted a more serious, less goofy (no pun intended) KH that didn't revolve around Disney worlds and characters. I only used to play KH for the Organization 13 storylines, and Xemnas, Xehanort, etc. Plus if they really do find a way to implement Versus 13, I'd lose my sh*t. FF15 was NOT what I wanted and I prayed the day would come that we'd have the possibility to see what Versus 13 would be like if it was ever released. Hopefully this game will take us as close to it as possible which is more than enough for me.

I wanna see what happens now that he was given the power of the x blade at the end of KH3. Does he get new powers that he needs to learn to control? We were never really told exactly what the weapon did or what powers it had… We were just told its nature and that was about it. I hope it explores a little bit more of that.
I also really like the idea of doing some or all of the next adventure with only sora. So far every game with him in it, he has had help, friends alongside him to help bail him out. We never really got a gauge of his actual power until you started removing those friends from the equation and letting him do things on his own… Then you got to see how powerful he really was. I want to see him a lot more of that in the future games. The game can keep telling us "his friends are his power," but let's face it - - he is the one swinging the Keyblade, not his friends. Let him flex his skills.

This leaker on Twitter said a new trailer for KH4 is set to be released at Game Awards this year. He might've also leaked Star Wars as a world and KH4's opening.
I wouldn't put any eggs in that basket, the first trailer already heavily implies Star Wars and knowing the "opening" only after one trailer is incredibly overreaching

thought i would bring up something random but very relevant in terms of the character design and the colors associated with these character designs over the years. everyone has noticed that Sora's outfit design in terms of color scheme has shifted ever towards the darker end of the spectrum. if you take in to account of what those colors symbolize and look at his kh4 design and how black and red it is, you can see how much in trouble he really is. red is a sign of anger or vengeance while black is a sign of power, darkness, and death. grey is indifference or neutrality and yellow as seen from his shoes in the most recent trailer 7ish months ago represents his hope however small it is. blue is completely missing from his design which would normally symbolize truth and communication. a video discussing the implications behind the color choices over the series would be pretty interesting to watch
There's actually a bit more that you're leaving out: Red can also represent things such as determination or danger, which both tie into Sora's state in Quadratum pretty well; His determination to keep himself from breaking due to the stress of the situation, but also the danger that naturally comes from being a Keyblade wielder for several years.
-Me just hoping that somehow, someway, Kingdom Hearts 4 and the Final Fantasy 7 Remake will explain all the storyline ties between FF, KH, and Smash. Wishful thinking, but I'm the kind of person who loves tying in storylines!

To make Quadratum really feel like Our real World in stark contrast to Our beloved fantastical and magic Adventure
Not sure how well that would go, especially since previous Kingdom Hearts games were heavily criticized for minigame overuse; That being said, having more world interaction in a JRPG is always nice.

I just don't want worlds that feel unfinished. The Toy Box was a big place, but nothing much going on, and an unsatisfactory ending. The Frozen world felt really small, and almost seemed like it was supposed to be bigger but they cut a portion out.

Im very hype for Kingdom hearts 4 while the majority of the Gsme will be in Quadradom and Unreality I can see at some point we get small bit of what’s happening in the realm of reality we’re The other KH characters get small cutscene we’re we see what their Doing after Donald and Goofy reveal what Riku and Kairi find out about we’re Sora is and I like to se Marvel and Starwars worlds in the game.

No clue; For almost every single Kingdom Hearts game, there is at least one main gimmick that's constantly rotated out and rarely returns throughout the series. For Kingdom Hearts 2, it was stuff like the Drive Gauge. For Chain of Memories, it was the card system. For Kingdom Hearts 3, it was Attractions. List goes on, and Kingdom Hearts 4 is no different with it's Scrap/Build mechanic, though Reaction Commands are apparently set to make a comeback in Kingdom Hearts 4, which already has a good template given the Reaction Commands in KH3 Re-Mind.

I hope this is the game that sends off Disney for good. I will be more then ecstatic to see this game be the game that sends off Disney for good well opening new giant doors for the KH franchise. I do think it's good that Disney will be involved a bit in this game but I personally hope this is the game that sends off Disney once and for all. I have no love for Disney but I know many people do so hopefully this is the final game involving Disney and will be a game thst keeps the Disney fans coming back even after KH leaves Disney in the past for good. . Maybe a few silly small Disney EE like an occasional Mickey head or small mention of Donald and Goofy but for the most part I would love to see KH move past Disney and into a whole new world. . Lmfao pun definitely intended.
Sorry, but that's impossible: Disney by copyright owns the Kingdom Hearts IP. They commission Square Enix to make the games for them and have the final say over what the devs can do with their properties (including the original characters like Sora, Heartless, Org XIII, etc.). Not to mention that Disney is sorta the main foundation of the franchise: the series was created only to explore the worlds of their movies, and the Disney sections make up 80% of the gameplay content for almost every game.
That by nature, means there's never going to be a game without the Disney stuff. It's what the series has always been doing for 20 years, and they're not gonna greenlight a project that doesn't include their properties.
I hope Tetsuya plans an ending for this soon. I hate to say that but I would hate it more if he'd retire or something and leave this with Square to milk it.
