    Xzibit is slept on in my opinion, not many mention him as one of the greats but just listen to the stuff he talks about. He’s always been a real one!! This song has gotten me through some of the worst times. Was on repeat on my iPod. I will always be a X fan 💕

      It’s ment timelessly and applies across the genres, but 90s particularly because this was an era where everybody was accusing everybody else of jumping on the gangsta rap bandwagon and simply acting .       Pretty sure he sampled my mom Salli Terri’s voice from her 1960 recording of the Pavane ruclips.net/video/OImRyJdrvik/видео.html Nobody told us, or asked permission. We heard about it from a fan of mom’s. Hmmm. She recorded it more than 50 years ago, so ya, the Pavane has stood the test of time. I hope this version will too :)
