- A Guide to RIIZE - SM ENTERTAINMENT'S RISING STARS! Welcome to my K-pop video essay about SM's new boy group RIIZE. On September 4th, RIIZE, consisting of seven members (including two former NCT members and two SM Rookies, but more on that later), made their debut with the refreshing, groovy track "Get a Guitar." RIIZE is the first SM Entertainment boy group to debut in 7 years! Let's talk about the members of RIIZE: Shotaro, Sungchan, Eunseok, Seunghan, Wonbin, Sohee, and Anton; how the group formed; their achievements thus far, and my opinion of the rookie boy group as a nctzen!

I love them so much they’re one of my fave debuts this year after ZB1, BoyNextDoor, 8Turn, Lun8, Plave, Hor7ion, EVNNE, POW, etc
RIIZE is gonna be successful in the future coz they are very talented and bright. I love their style ❤❤❤
if sm arent so greedy and they let anton produce for riize and they become a self produced group like seventeen, bts, and stray kids, they would be unstoppable b/c the west love when groups have creative control over their own music

I haven’t stanned a boy group this much since BTS. RIIZE truly is a breath of fresh air. I absolutely love all their songs. They are amazing and all talented! I’m so glad that Sungchan and Shotaro finally found their forever group. 🧡
I’m also a army and a briize. Riize is the 3rd group I stan and probably will be the last group also.

BTS and Txt are the only boy groups I stanned (rest is casual). But Riize is about to be my 3rd. I'm upset that Seunghan being on hiatus, I prayed for him to come back. But I also can't wait for the comeback.
I was originally going to support just Sungchan and Shotaro as an nctzen, but listening to their music since their pre-debut up until now with their infectious single Talk Saxy, RIIZE is one of the few rookies of 2023 that i've been following closely and probably one of the hardest i've fallen for a new group since I can last remember. I was always eager about a new SM boy group just to see what they would bring to the roster of existing groups and RIIZE did not disappoint whatsoever. I also see the parallels between them and TOMORROW X TOGETHER in the sense that both groups come from companies with household names and are able to create a path and identity that set them apart from their predecessors. My first bias in RIIZE is Sungchan; his rapping was one of my favorites in NCT AND HIS SINGING SURPRISED ME AS WELL. Apart from Shohei who i still keep tabs on and miss dearly 😭, Seunghan's visuals are hard to ignore and his voice also impresses. And even though I’m actively running from him, Wonbin has this star quality, this spark, this inexplicable charisma and paired with his “can’t look away” aura and visuals, that I grew to begin biasing him during Talk Saxy era. He has mk coded qualities in my type of k-pop bias as i like to say. 😂Bri you did amazing work on this video essay and you taught me things about the members that I didn’t even know till now (SHOTARO PERFORMING FOR GACKT IS SO CRAZY LIKE I'M STILL SHOCKED). I AGREE with you when speaking on Seunghan. His voice is really nice, and he is so charismatic when dancing. He peeked my interest from day 1. It would be a shame if SM doesnt straighten all of this out.
Sungchan has been my bias for 2 years now and as much as I'm grateful for his contributions to NCT I can't help but be happy that both him and Shotaro were given this chance and a space to showcase their talents more actively. They've been absolutely killing it and the new members were the perfect additions to the group and the continuation of the legacy. So excited to see more of them in the future! Loved the video

When I first listened to Siren and Memories.. Sohee always captured my attention.. the way he can rap, and then belt out in Memories lol.. what an ace for real !! He is my bias I can proudly say and I am so happy this hardworking guy debuted :') FIGHTING RIIZE 🧡

I wanted to support RIIZE because Sungchan and Shotaro were there and also SM Rookies’ Seunghan and Eunseok but I quickly fell in love with the rest of the members. now I’m looking forward to what they gonna bring us in the future.

I have been following RIIZE since they were announced so I was very happy when they debuted. From their pre debut music, their debut and promotions, to their first comeback. I am looking forward to what they do next and and I am also very curious how the end of the year award shows are going to play out since both them and ZB1 and big contenders for roty

Fast forward Seunghan is being put on hiatus again and if SM doesn't do something about it. I will not be okay. Because they did this with Lucas and kept fans stringing along for so long only for them to announce he is leaving NCT. Do your job for once SM!!!!
RIIZE is the only boy group besides EXO that I stan! I’m so happy for them and hope Seunghan ends up back on the team, he really does deserve to show the world his talent. I’m actually happy that SungTaro didn’t end up in NCT, they are amazing in RIIZE. Plus, Shotaro said that they created a choreo that ended up making SM finalize the RIIZE lineup so I think they ended up having some kind of choice
I just became their fan a month ago after hearing get a guitar. (it's still in my head). Their songs, charisma, and stage presence made me love them. I also loved their performance at mama, it was. fire.

I love the way they interact with fans on TikTok and that makes the fans feel like the idols are watching them! Also it kinda create a bigger fandom and attract new fans!❤

The way I screammed when Talk Saxy dropped. Listen, I really liked Memories but since it was a pre-release I was waiting for their debut to consider myself a stan or not. I biased Sungchan in NCT and he still is the love of my life but it was not enough for me if I don't like their songs. So when Get A Guiter dropped oh man... I was disappointed. Since I'm already stanning hundred of SM groups and losing interest in kpop in genral, Riize"s debut had to be exceotional for me to get interested. So I kinda gave up until Talk Saxy came to snatch my wig. Oh man , the long waited song came for me and I didn't fight back. Sungchan confirmed his position as my bias AND Wonbin... can someone make a full video about how stunning and talented this boy is? I'm begging. For now, I'm on the stanning train and Breezing my way to the top!! Stand up and realize how promising they are!
Ik. I don’t know how to explain this but Wonbin IS THAT IDOL that comes once a generation.
Get a guitar was a really good debut song though. I always listened to it on my way to university, even though i wasn't a fan and tried to ignore them. It radiates shinee reply vibes. I heard the mv director is the same. Get a guitar is the best and the members seem to have lots of fun there, funny scenes
I am a NCTzen and I've followed RIIZE since they were announced bc I am fully supporter of SungTaro from their NCT days... I started supporting 2 members, but by now I consider myself a BRIIZE and I do like all the members and their dynamics as a team. RIIZE is 7, so there you have my overall opinion abt the Seunghan situation... I have BEEN WAITING for full studio version of Siren too, like I’m silently so mad about it😂 I miss Shohei too, I can’t wait to hear about him again and hopefully we can hear his talent in the new year❤ Get a Guitar and Talk Saxy are such amazing songs, Talk Saxy has to be my favourite so far, it beat Siren and I thought I was the only one obsessed with Sohee’s bridge😭 (I’m not rewinding those 10 seconds at least 6 times each time) I love your content, I just became a subscriber!❤

All SM planning with debut and their music are great but after 6-7 years, they don't up their artist at all if it wasn't the artist self initiatives. They should have focus on managing acting agency only.
If it wasn't for MNET, RIIZE will still be considered as 4th gen.
Only group i follow after Exo 🧡
