I've actually been writing a soundtrack for a game called "Sword Surfer" which is soon to be released for the iphone. I was asked to do the music because they liked this song so much and it's ended up in the game. I guess dreams can come true after all!

@syntheticalnothing That's good to know, that MPE recorded demos, I haven't checked their website for some time, so I didin't know. And now I think you are right, this sample is very good, but it seems to be more technical, than old MPE. I'm glad that MPE is still great band with Andy.
Chuck Schuldiner favorite tuning and also Steffen Kummerer as well! Wonder if Andy will continue writing more music in this tuning I’m so use to you writing tunes in E Standard but eh you rock no matter how good the tuning is!
nearly all classic sonic songs are simply amazing :) Think about Mystic Cave, Boss Theme Sonic 3, Aquatic Ruin, Ice Cap, Oil Ocean and Lava Powerhouse of Sonic Spinball..just a few suggestions :) Hope to hear more stuff soon!

It actually did make it onto a soundtrack for a game but unfortunately, like so many independent projects I have worked for, I'm not sure whether it will ever see completion or the light of day...so frustrating as a lot of work went into it, but we will see. Starting from the B string, not sure which tuning, but on E standard, I think it is: 22~~~22-22-22/21-21-21/18-18-18/14-14h12h14 Or something like that. I suck with tabbing. I found a cover of this song and I was looking to tab it myself, but I'm only a beginner at tabbing and a beginner guitarist. (After 3 years of playing it, lol)

You are very skilled guitarist, but I think your style doesn't fit to MPE. I hope i'm wrong....
