On Haz 5 my favorite pubbing build is something like 13111 EFS M1K + whatever boomstick build I feel like, typically 21313 Compact Shells/Special Powder. If you're looking for nice options that aren't M1K, you might consider 32112 TEF on the Drak or 21222 AISE on the GK2, also with boomstick.
Why did you run bodkin points over fire bolts in this specific setup? To me I was unsure as this would help your aoe immensely and you could exploit how clumped up feremone targets would be with other enemies, letting you exploit the way fire spreads. Still I am quite intrigued why you ran it even over cryo bolts. I would like your take when using that overclock. (I personally only use fire or cyro overclock).
In the description, I explain that I take this build specifically as a challenge to make it hard for me up capitalize on my pheromones. Just thought it'd be more interesting this way.
Everything is default, with no macros. The one thing I have done is double bind my laser pointer to my grenade button, to consistently grenade cancel while I'm client. During the first refuel, you let dotty lose a chunk of HP while mining nitra. Was there more to this strategy besides buying time to mine nitra? Does it delay the swarm or something?

Because it's a 6x2 Haz, a very difficult mod with a lot of enemies. To make it a tiny bit less unforgiving, resupps cost 40 instead of 80. But it's possible to change that to any number.
It's not just you, scout is the character with the least wave clear potential. He's viable in a team because of his high mobility and increased strength against high priority targets (web spitters, mactera, etc.) while in a solo environment you don't have teammates to help deal with the swarms, you have to clear the bugs out yourself (or completely ignore the bugs which isn't an option in escort duty, any deep dive stage with a black box, the 2nd and 3rd main objectives of salvage operation, and even to an extent industrial sabo since the hacking pod needs to be protected). Scout is the definitive worst class for solo, gunner takes a close 2nd, and driller/engineer are around equal, sometimes driller is better and sometimes engineer is better depending on the mission.

It's not good in most scenarios, but in a solo where I'm not super worried about leeches and have no teammates to revive it's still good enough that I'll take it over the myriad of other mediocre options

Technically any overclock works on high haz, some just need to put in more work than others.

Doretta damage resistance is scaled up slightly in 6x2 because otherwise rocks phase would be completely fucking impossible

To be honest, it was kind of just a mistake. I was trying to pace pretty hard and lost track of drilldozer health.
