hi, why do you choose to use t1 damage and t2 armour breaking on your m1000 and why didn't you destroy the brood nexus when you went past it a few times?
T1 damage helps with breakpoints and you want damage immediately. Total damage in a weapon build isn’t very useful and in true solos, you have an entire resupply to yourself, so ammo isn’t an issue. Ammo also isn’t an issue in multiplayer as you don’t need to be shooting everything there, you’re prioritizing high value targets. T2 armor breaking also helps with breakpoints, mainly killing an acidspitter with one focus shot. You can reliably take down shellbacks and brundles with armor break. Paired with blowthrough, you can get decent wave clear if you can’t get a fire spread going. Brood nexuses are low priority enemies as they only spawn a slow, annoying trickle of swarmers. They take time to kill and when popped, they release a huge amount of swarmers that are a much greater threat than the trickle they spawn normally. It’s even worse as true solo scout since I would’ve have to find a target to ignite to get rid of all those swarmers.
Blowthrough helps with wave clear in true solos, especially if you're not that good with fire spread from Boomstick. Your breakpoints don't suffer too much if you take blowthrough over weakpoint (www.reddit.com/r/technicaldrg/comments/wgboq3/m1000_classic_breakpoints/ ). In teams, blowthrough vs weakpoint is a preference.
Regarding your description: gaming existence covers it well in his boomstick video. I now often go for damage and pellets or just pellets on ammo mod, bc you need the extra pellets for stun but on jumbo you just kill stuff accidentally. Only other thing I guess is a choke? If I find wacky gen dirt that I can run trough in circles I take full advantage of it. A single heat source like one praet often isn’t enough, 2 are needed really
You are correct about the heat sources, at the time I thought it was on me for not getting a fire spread going from a single bug. Nowadays, I know you need multiple bugs on fire, favorably a few guards. I've yet to play much with Compact Shells, I still run Jumbo.
@darthvocrum5719 something you'll find if you actually try any modded difficulty is that increasing your ammo pool doesn't make things easier. It's still a test of your technical skills. Also, it's 6x2. Double enemy spawns, so double ammo.
6:41 absolute terrifying sight
I was afraid the whole time.
now the cursed true solos begin :)
I'm guessing at 15:20 the tunnel you dug is one of "those"tunnels where the bugs cannot path through. Super run!
that was likely completely accidental since i don’t think i knew about that at the time

@@pH-JPEG ah that's nice, thanks! What breakpoints can u get by t1 btw?
@@op-yd2is Here’s an entire table of M1K breakpoints: www.reddit.com/r/technicaldrg/comments/wgboq3/m1000_classic_breakpoints/?
noticed you chose Blowthrough rounds over weakpoint damage on the M1000, out of curiosity, why so?

@@pH-JPEG ah thanks for clarifying, ive always had trouble what to consider when choosing between the two

How did you get the sound of the video to be so nice? Maybe an exageration but its more like how sound is done at the movies.
how did u get a supply drop with only 40 nitra inside the mule ._.
This is commonly included as a balance change in modded difficulties
What biome is this?
Name of OC for m1000?
Active Stability System
...how are you getting resupplies with only 40 nitra?
Custom difficulty mod
@@redbadger1015so much for h6 lmao cheating crap, with double resources anyone could bet this crap as scout lol

Nice
Now do it as drunk as possible without any upgrades or perks and with only your pickaxe
Karl POV:
You could've used the Bulk Detonator to kill enemies.
