Ma Long is probably the best Fore Hand Top Spin professional Player in the World. He is one of the legendary Chinese players that has achieved many World records in the history of table tennis. Besides, he is very polite and has high Sports Ethics in his game.
The horse sound between step 4 and step 1 was hillarious 🙂.. he is a machine..i suggest the sound of a hammer hitting the anvil while he switches from left to right foot, back to step 1 ;-).. nice vid coach btw
@@VJRoGeRsBS lmao found the delusional Waldner fanboy The game changed so much it’s harder than ever Any top 100 current player can beat Waldner no sweat Waldner is a mere magician he might be the best of his time but that’s it He shouldn’t even be brought up to the GOAT discussion even
I think he use 85% of his body when stroke the ball.. His hand just extension thats way his forearm is straight down but can genarate so much power. And i think its take 4 to 5 element at the same time to get such a beutiful n consistent forehand drive like that.. Just my opinion have to ask ma long him self to truely discover the secret behind the technic
Timing isn't the only thing that needs training... 1. Outstanding physical fitness to endure hours of vigorous training to practice the already exhausting technique 2. Dedicated thousands of hours, perhaps even tens of thousands hours, to practice 3. Correct focus on the technique itself. There is more than the motion alone. Microadjustments of legs, body rotation and weight transfer, arm swing, bat angle, touch and feeling, all need to be at NASA precision to consistently unleash such quality shots
This type of forehand is physically demanding and needs good timing! It's much easier to use the European style where it doesn't extend the forearm (basically the stroke is shorter and "over the table") so it's forgiving if the timing isn't on point.
Thank you very much for this detailed explanation. For me, Ma Long is the God of Table Tennis. I don't care which new players come and play better than him. He is and will always be the Dragon 🐲🐉..the Dictator! Keep up the good work. 😀
Is there an advantage to tall people playing table tennis as they have more reach than shorter players? Love your videos btw and hope you continue making them♥️
@@pingsunday Not reall true at all... Yes, they have an advantage as far as reach goes. But they also have the disadvantage of "having a bigger middle". Theyll have more problems covering their middle, especially the transition point from forehand to backhand compared to smaller players. So no they dont overall have a clear advantage.
Hi emrat, I have a question. I am a relatively tall player six foot 3 and I do not know know how low I need to stay. So coaches say that my sight should be at the same line as the line but when I look at Patrick Fransika for example, he is not staying that low.
Have you checked the stance of Samsonov. He didn't need to stand very low. Just be natural. If you are too tall, then stand a little bit far from the table.
@alexq1250 They aren't fighting with high arc right now, but when they play away from the table, a higher arc increase accuracy and puts less stress on perfect ajustment
naah fzd forehand is not technically sound as ma long . he streches his hand down too much. lacks stability, looks ugly and takes time to recover. his Whip power and speed compensated the flaw. otherwise he ll be a backhand player.

Sir I love your videos
Ma Long is Genius of Table tenis!!!!!
Topspin machine😃
True
Very2 true😁🤩🙏
Excellent technique to learn!
This helped thanks
I think his movement is not very difficult without the ball. The problem is timing! It needs a lot of training...
... for me, more than the timing, which is something that can be worked on by training it, it is the length of the blow that the Chinese perform !!!
@Alaric Cameron what is Flixzone?:s

what about the backhand please do the same video about fan zhendong's backhand. the backhand is very difficult
I don't know why his forehead is so effective and power. It's just to another level.

Amazing, thanks for good video And chinesse translate😂👌👏
Excellent body and feet technique of FH Top Spin from Ma Long.
Super good!
Thank you! Cheers!
Where can we purchase the Ma Long Book ,I really would appreciate that information Thank You!
Good video
who was the guy in3:02 behind ma long
Real machine
Please tell of backhand also☺️
Nobody is talking about changing the wrist angle, from the lowest point to the hitting point which accelerate the ball enormously
Where if I warna buy this malong book Coach ?
Thank you so much for sharing 🙂👍❤️
You are so welcome
Is there an advantage to tall people playing table tennis as they have more reach than shorter players? Love your videos btw and hope you continue making them♥️
Yes, absolutely
there's that advantage, but they tend to not be as fast when close to the table, longer arms need more time to move

I think shorter peoplealso have it easier to play shots, since they dont have to bend too much to hit flat.
@@mortuc1 what about tall penhold players then since they dont have a transition point?
Is zjk also has backhand textbook?
If Ma long has a classic style top spin, who has modern top spin? I just want to know the difference between them.
You can see the video of Fan zhendong's training video, which shows the modern top spin. However, I think Ma long's one is the smoothest tenique
3:50 to 4:10
0:50 is that the textbook that has ma long's forehand textbook technique?
Yes
whats the "almost" perfect part? what makes it not "perfect"? Thanks.

tips on bat angle??
ดีที่มีซับครับ
Why do they play with such a high arc? Even an amateur players with some technics won't give such a high balls for opponent's attack
hahahahahahah its because they're getting like 12,000rpm of spin, try to topspin it back without looping just as hard and the ball is gone
And the ball is really fast
coz they fucking can ! and will be the best for the ages to come
@alexq1250 They aren't fighting with high arc right now, but when they play away from the table, a higher arc increase accuracy and puts less stress on perfect ajustment
I dont understand why left foot is in front when you are right handed, there is so much more force when you twist from the right foot.

Do not practice the technique of forehand before you know how to twist your body.
All malong needs is super duper thick layer of booster oil 😂.

... I still find the Chinese forehand too long! not so the one of the modern school of Japanese table tennis !!!
FZD forehand is more powerful, lots of whipping power.
No ma long also
naah fzd forehand is not technically sound as ma long . he streches his hand down too much. lacks stability, looks ugly and takes time to recover.
his Whip power and speed compensated the flaw. otherwise he ll be a backhand player.

So it’s just lucky that the Chinese dominated the leaderboards over the past few years? I don’t think so.
