    Ma Long is probably the best Fore Hand Top Spin professional Player in the World. He is one of the legendary Chinese players that has achieved many World records in the history of table tennis. Besides, he is very polite and has high Sports Ethics in his game.

    The horse sound between step 4 and step 1 was hillarious 🙂.. he is a machine..i suggest the sound of a hammer hitting the anvil while he switches from left to right foot, back to step 1 ;-).. nice vid coach btw

    I think his movement is not very difficult without the ball. The problem is timing! It needs a lot of training...

    • @VJRoGeRsBS
      @VJRoGeRsBS 3 года назад +6

      ... for me, more than the timing, which is something that can be worked on by training it, it is the length of the blow that the Chinese perform !!!

      I think he use 85% of his body when stroke the ball.. His hand just extension thats way his forearm is straight down but can genarate so much power. And i think its take 4 to 5 element at the same time to get such a beutiful n consistent forehand drive like that.. Just my opinion have to ask ma long him self to truely discover the secret behind the technic

    • @errizashalahuddin5969
      @errizashalahuddin5969 Год назад +9

      Timing isn't the only thing that needs training...
      1. Outstanding physical fitness to endure hours of vigorous training to practice the already exhausting technique
      2. Dedicated thousands of hours, perhaps even tens of thousands hours, to practice
      3. Correct focus on the technique itself. There is more than the motion alone. Microadjustments of legs, body rotation and weight transfer, arm swing, bat angle, touch and feeling, all need to be at NASA precision to consistently unleash such quality shots

    • @kioka2
      @kioka2 Год назад +2

      This type of forehand is physically demanding and needs good timing! It's much easier to use the European style where it doesn't extend the forearm (basically the stroke is shorter and "over the table") so it's forgiving if the timing isn't on point.

    • @mortuc1
      @mortuc1 3 года назад +4

      @@pingsunday Not reall true at all... Yes, they have an advantage as far as reach goes. But they also have the disadvantage of "having a bigger middle". Theyll have more problems covering their middle, especially the transition point from forehand to backhand compared to smaller players. So no they dont overall have a clear advantage.

    Hi emrat, I have a question. I am a relatively tall player six foot 3 and I do not know know how low I need to stay. So coaches say that my sight should be at the same line as the line but when I look at Patrick Fransika for example, he is not staying that low.

    • @pingsunday
      @pingsunday  3 года назад +5

      Have you checked the stance of Samsonov. He didn't need to stand very low. Just be natural. If you are too tall, then stand a little bit far from the table.
