Thank you very much.

Where is the video on how to use the chinese rubber master? Been looking for it and can't seem to fond it
Thanks for such a detailed breakdown. Can learn the technique, but his timing is incredible.
You're welcome . I wish you success.
This is the best exlanation Ma Long's forehand loop. Thank you very much indeed. I benefited a lot especially about from keeping the elbow close to body. And if you explain fan zhendong's backhand loop with the same accuracy, I'm sure you'll go down in history. Kind regards.
“Stand & practice in front of a mirror”….. 👌🏾 golden advice! Thank U Coach 👍🏾
Thank you for subtitling and making these videos. We live in the USA out in the country and there is zero people playing tt and of course no coaches. RUclips is all we have. We love your videos. 🙏 Thank you!
I wish you success 😊🤝👍
Exactly what I wanted to see, being explained, and learn. The slow-motion is super helpful. Thanks a lot.
I wish you success
Great video. A couple of other things to maybe add 1. Weight transfers from right foot pivoting onto the left foot 2. left arm reaps tightly across the upper chest keeping elbow in. 3. Head and chest should be “up” even though you’re lowering and turning shoulder (basically don’t hunch forward over your knee)
This is the best RUclips channel for Table Tennis. Thank you!
You're welcome. Thanks
Amazing video
Please never stop making videos like this .
I would like to see Ma Long serves and tactics and everything about him
I thank you, I would like to send you Ma Long's serve video:

Saya senang dengan video dari coach Ti Long
First of all: many thanks for the perfect video!
About the "only use Chinese rubbers for this technique", I will try to explain.
Talking about Chinese rubbers: I mean "classic" rubbers, no high tech, hard sponge and sticky surface, like DHS Hurricane III. With "modern" rubbers I mean any high tech rubber using different kind of technologies to "add something" to your stroke, like Tenergy 05 or any other rubber in that category.
1. Differences between classic and modern rubbers!
Modern rubbers add energy, catapult to make the ball faster, and angle, to produce arcs, to the ball. Combined with soft or medium sponge you can "easily" hit/ spin the ball producing a nice arc without using to much energy.
Classic chinese rubbers will not have this "features" like modern rubbers, plus the sponge is really hard, which makes it hard to "hit through" the blade and generate energy from it and the surface of the rubber is really sticky, perfect to control the incoming spin, but it makes the incoming ball a little "slower".
Try to do a drive or smash with a classic chinese rubber and you will say "where is the speed?" You feel like playing with a cheap rubber.
2. What does this have to do with Ma Long (Chinese) Topspin technique?
Basically it is the concept of power from the ground, meaning "hitting the ball with your legs". If you notice: European and Japanese players using modern rubbers use mostly the ellbow and arm to generate the speed and spin, supported by the high technology adding catapult and angle. Chinese players are NOT using the ellbow, rotation and energy comes from the legs and the hip, they rotate the shoulder AND the arm using that energy. Basically they use the power from 80 or 90 Kg body mass to hit the ball instead of the much weaker energy produced by using the ellbow and the arm.
The chinese rubber supports that "power" because of his hard sponge, the sticky surface and by NOT adding additional energy to the stroke. Therefore if you try to do the chinese topspin technique with a modern rubber all your strokes will go into the net or over the table.
3. When to use chinese topspin vs "european" topspin technique?
Chinese topspin requires a lot: footwork, timing, perfect body harmony etc, whereas european technique is easier to learn but less powerfull. If you stay close to the table: use modern rubbers and european technique. If you have an excellent footwork and prefer to play a little more far from the table: use chinese rubbers and give it a try!
coach, i admire your effort, u are great
Thanks.You're welcome.
Thank you very much. You were exactly on point ☝️

Hay quá Long ơi!

Thank you coach for the great instruction.
I will be working at applying these techniques.
I would like to know what differences I have to take into account since I am using spring sponge, and hard slow and sticky Chinese rubber.
Thanks awesome video! Can you pls do FZD fh
Great video, coach. You said Ma Long uses a technique to match his chinese rubbers. Does the same technique work well with japanese rubbers (Tenergy 05)?
Ma Long's technique is not suitable for Tenergy rubber, I will try to make a video about Japanese operators' technique.
@@tilongclub Cool!I think it will be very helpful
@@tilongclub And what about Dignics 09c? Is it sticky enough ?
Coach, I assume Japanese rubbers are same as European ones (Donic Bluestorm, Xiom Omega, Xiom Vega), correct?
@@tilongclub why wont it work on regular rubber? what if ma long was given a 1 dollar racket are you saying his tehcnique would not work on other rubbers?
Hey coach i know this video is posted 1 year ago but i hope you will read this. I have a question: should i use only forearm or whole arm? Thanks for video

@@franklohmar9071 Therefore if you try to do the chinese topspin technique with a modern rubber all your strokes will go into the net or over the table.... "
Many europeans use this technique and dont go over the table.. what did you mean? you said in a video you can hurt your elbow joints if you use your elbow. how do you prevent that then when using euro rubber?
Thank you. The stroke is good but it is outside in swing path so that it does not look like natural. Why NOT using inside out swing path strokes which is more natural? Would that be the same response time ACTUALLY with outside in swing path strokes?
Fzd forehand please❤❤❤
Thank you for the awesome technique breakdown! Could you do one for Xu Xin's forehand in the future?
Thank you for your comment
I will try to do it
Could you look at Whang Hao's right and left playing techniques in the same format? In my opinion, his playing on the right is something between the Chinese and European schools.
Thanks mi long
You’re welcome 🤝
I see you read almost all the comments Cool! good video! It would be nice if you could unlock the subtitles feature (German). Keep it up!
Good day coach Ti Long, may I know what is the hardness of Ma Long forehand rubber?
Thanks for the videos coach, i'm still thinking and confused about the racket angle, you said its 90 degree, actually should it be closed or more open when topspining? when execute the ball is it like more brushing or hitting? Big big big Thanks
Brushing
Hitting will result in ball gling into net
Can this technique be practised with European rubber master Ti-Long? please guide me
🙏🙏
please make the video why this technique is for chinese rubber because now im using tenergy 05 on forehand but i want to change it to hurricane 3 neo
Thank you for your comment. I will try to do it.
Hallo coach, does malong move his wrist when hitting the ball 🙏
Good video! But I don't really understand step 3. How should I use my index finger?

Please make video about forhand topspin by chinese rubbers ( main tips, difference and etc)
1 new subscriber 😁
Thank you 😊🤝
Thank you coach for this amazing tutorial.
Can you do a tutorial on Kalinikos Kreanga's backhand please?
You're welcome, I will try to do it.

Hi Coach. Is this technique compatible with normal rubbers? or it's only good for Chinese rubbers!? Thanks
This technique is only suitable for Chinese rubber, I will try to make a video about the jerk technique of Japanese and European athletes.
@@tilongclub thank you. When can we expect that video explaining the differences?
Can you make a video about how to using Chinese rubber?
I think its hard to do footwork with this forehand technique for even intermediate players ... the long stroke requires insanely good understanding of the game and where the ball is going to go before you even get to hit the ball like this.
Yes I agree
