I agree with you. An exceptional forehand flick. His footwork whilst it is also just incredible. Not only that he gets there fast enough to play a forehand flick onto a short ball coming into his backhand, but if you look closely you can see how he shifts his legs while jumping to produce power during the shot. That' some serious coordination only a few are able to archieve. Absolutely magnificent.

No legend Wang Hao or even Fan Zhandong are as good as Ma Long when he plays his best. The current players are stronger and faster then in the past. I don't know tthe future but Ma Long is the best of all time right now
David Stockman Wrong. Wang Hao consistently beat Ma Long at his best in major tournaments. Players may have gotten stronger and more mechanical, bt it doesn't necessarily make them better.
Wang Hao and Ma Long are 2 of the best of their styles maybe even THE best of their styles. Who is better than the other doesn't matter. They played in mostly different times.

To this day I still don't get how he has a better win percentage against Zhang Jike , Ma Lin but have difficulty against Wang Hao... but Wang Hao have difficulty against Zhang and Ma Lin...

When Wang Hao was playing Ma Long wasn't as good as nowadays. I think prime Ma Long beats prime Wang Hao more often than the actual percentage indicates.

Christian Adrian Aniceta ML still has a huge advantage in head to head against WH. It's just WH has the best head to head against ML. Zhang Jike is very uncomfortable against speed, which ML had a lot, ML is also extremely consistent.
Many reasons-
1. Most of the matches Wang Hao won were during ma long's early career. he was too young back then
2. Ma Long used to lose in big competitions like WTTC to wang hao solely because of the pressure. He was not good at handling stress at that time.
3. If you include ALL official matches (including chinese tournaments), ma Long has a better head to head record against wang hao also.
