This was informative, thank you. I love your story, your achievements are impressive. I just transferred into ASU. I am participating in the Starbucks College Achievement Plan so they will actually reimburse me the tuition fee every term.
Thanks for sharing your experience, Denise. I speak unofficially. Would love to see some visuals added into a video like this using real signs or digital graphics in the corners to mark transitions in content and add more value to the visual aspect of the information you are sharing. It's so smart to get your finances planned out. Best wishes with your studies.
Hi Paulina! Most private scholarships are not stackable and some specific scholarship you have to double check if it only applies to in state school. All the one's in the ASU Scholarship are stackable!
So most of the scholarship from the asu portal they are renewable just as long as you meet their requirement. It will tell you on the email when you receive the scholarship. So this could either be meeting 30 credits per year, 3.0 GPA, or certain volunteer hours. But if you receive a scholarship that’s not affiliated with ASU most of the time is a one time thing but it depends on the private donor.
It’s not too hard! I know they select a small group of people but they select it based on how you answer the questions during the app process. It’s all based on personality, goals, and drive!
Hello, I applied to ASU this year as an international fall 23 undergraduate in Engineering. I have got a New American University Scholarship which is $14,500 per year. I want to know more about private scholarships so it would be much of a help if you can give some example also are there scholarships available within ASU as I know I cannot apply for FAFSA as an international student.
The overall process took 3-5 months! I applied towards the last 2 months of my senior year, got accepted. Then applied to my scholarship and got the acceptance maybe a month before school started! hope that helps
I don’t think i had to write a personal essay for asu! but i do recommend scoring high on act and sat. You can earn president and provost merit scholarship! Search up ASU scholarship calculator online. it should give you an idea how much you qualify for with your current score and gpa
I would recommend applying early and research which major you would like. Each major has its certain sat and act requirement! once you get accepted you have access to their scholarship portal. I would also recommend scoring high on your sat and act to land merit scholarships. Most scholarships can be combined if it’s within the ASU scholarship portal.
