Well, after messing around with homemade applicators (some worked, some meh), Ive bitten the bullet and ordered this one, should be perfect for my sized layout and to do all the little details as well, looking forward to using it when it arrives 😄
Love the way you hold the rail close to the grass. Ive always thought you had to ground it. WIll be doing it this way in future, thanks

It is a very handy tool, Its now my favourite but so was the Grand, then the Micro, the Box lol
Looks a fantastic bit of kit that does mate
What would make this truly great is if it had a socket for and external controlled 9V power source so you could chose between that and or a battery.
The battery gives you at least 60hrs.

That looks excellent, I have a peco pro applicator but you guys are selling me on moving to yours.
I have had samples of your grass and I love it, so much better than the woodland scenics.
This detailer is incredible, very versatile, I work in micro layouts so often dont need a large amount of static grass, but the peco pro one I have is massive for huge areas.

A simple, maybe naive question, since I have never use an applicator for the grass: for the rod, for an extra reach, is stainless or brass ok, or do I absolutely need copper?

I received the pro precision applicator less than two weeks ago,can I call in at your premises and exchange it for one of these.The box has not yet even been opened.

What sizes of grass can be used in it? Is it ok for a 1/35th diorama.
Yea it will go up to 6mm grass. You can always layer the grass then to get bigger
