    Grazie maestro Pollini. Lei orgoglio dell 'Italia e onore della grande musica . Noi semplici ascoltatori non arriviamo a immaginare l' immensa fatica che voi talentosi artisti dovete sostenere per suonare a questo livello !!! E solo grazie a voi che ci giunge l' animo dei geni!!!!

    Ma version de référence, il y en a d'autres merveilleuses aussi, mais celle de l'immense Pollini a toujours eut une place privilégiée dans mon cœur, parce que j'adore Pollini d'une part et que cet enregistrement fût récompensé par les critiques du monde entier, est qu'il est aussi un fabuleux schumannien, merci Pollini et encore plus à Schumann pour ce sublime chef d'œuvre absolu

    Svida mi se interpretacija Ive pogorelica i Aškenazija- Richter svira na losem klaviru i prebrzi tempo( za moj ukus)

    Interesting he puts posth var 4 right before posth var 1, unlike studio. Wondering which order sounds better.

    Improvising in Schumann is quite strange

      If you refer to what he does in the middle of the finale, that it's on the first edition published by Schumann, which is a shame that only few pianist play.

      Schumann was one of the greatest improvisers of all time. Many of his piano works have the quality of a master of the art of improvisation

    The posthumous Variations are, arguably, more beautiful than the rest of the Etudes, but inserting them in the middle(after Etude V, and in the order V,I,II,III,IV) as Pollini does here is not such a good idea! Apart from that, this is a splendid interpretation!

    #4 way to fast for my taste. Unschumannesque interpretation.
