Extraordinary! I'm not sure it's possible for non musicians to appreciate what a herculean feat this is intellectually, technically and physically. And superb inclusion and placement of the posthumous variations. Remarkable.
This great performance deserves wider recognition. There are so many sublime moments and his wonderous touch brings out subtleties that are often overlooked. As has been previously noted, his placement of the posthumous variations is well judged. A true titan of the piano.
Incredible! For me, it's the most outstanding Symphonic Studies.
Thoughtful, imaginative, passionate. A pianist who understands Schumann!

Madre mia, che bravo pianista...
marvellous
Thank you so much! Exquisite!
Asolute genius playing . Total lack of posturing . Passion from within and great pianism.
Absolutely agree... It's rare to listen to such a clean execution of this difficult piece of music
A true hero of Russian pianism
18:42: lacrime agli occhi...
on 30:18 he plays new music in e flat minor. I didn't hear somebody else plays this episode. But it sounds even better, than in original.
+Andrey Dubov : It's 1° version ( 1837 ) !
!Grazie tanto!
13:46 Ghost of Schubert Impromptu op. 90 n. 4 trio appears..
18:40
What version did he play on 30th minute? New episode detected.
+Andrey Dubov What do you mean? You mean he plays another piece from 30:00 on? Doesn't look like.
It is the 1st version by Schumann. In the second edition he changed it
Andrey Dubov 1837 version
