Glad you mentioned the caveat with second-hand models sometimes being terribly assembled. I actually bought a load off a local lad recently and while I got an amazing deal on a ton of stuff the models he'd partially assembled were.. they were BAD. He also offered me some painted models and I just had to give a hard no on that one.
@@GrumpyGrognardGaming yeah this was a Spartan and a Gladiator - absolute bargains at £25 and £17 respectively but the gladiator needed a fair bit of cleanup and kitbashing a few missing parts, and the spartan had been straight up assembled wrong haha.
Also I'm the other way with brushes now - I only use the big bag of starter brushes I got with Imperium mag etc for shithouse jobs and I use either Rosemary and Co. or Hawk kolinsky brushes for nearly everything else. I just found they last so much better but the experience is also so much less frustrating and quicker when your brush keeps it's point. Plus the Hawk Kolinskys aren't amazing but they're like £4 a pop!
@@GrumpyGrognardGaming yeah saw them at a convention in my home town and thought for that price why not? They're not as good as Rosemary and Co but they're still bloody amazing for the price
never ever buy green stuff from GW. Almost all two part epoxy resins are made by the same firm - green stuff from ebay, green stuff world or ebay - all the same thing. That GW sells you 4 inches of green stuff at the same price as a yard from ebay. Its not higher quality, or different stuff - it's just disgracefully overpriced.

@@yanhunt yes! Good one! I think it's called kneadatite and you are right. It's just repackaged at an obscene mark up by GW
