If a “leaf” falls off of your succulent, you can stick it in dirt and it will grow a new plant. Someone suggested more light, I agree. As it warms up, you can stick it outside in the sun every now and then. It will love it!
The succulent bebe needs more light, it looks like it's growing but it's reaching for sun :p also make sure it totally dries out between watering
I had it on the windowsill for many days, but it was looking a little sickly, so I moved it. It had the curve before too. I've never had one of these, so I don't know what I'm doing, lol.
@@BayleeJae they're finicky but love lots of direct sunlight and dry soil, think desert environment lol
@@BayleeJae also make sure it has succulent/cactus soil so it drains well when you water it along with giving it succulent/cactus plant food as directed on the plant food bottle as each one is different upon how often to feed the plants. I have grow lights for my Christmas and thanksgiving cactus plants but additionally have them by my window. They are growing so fast and producing flowers still here in March. Succulents need sunlight to be healthy but also the proper soil and need to receive plant food specifically for succulent/cactus plants. Don’t over water, only water when the top of soil is dry to help prevent over watering. 😉
Regular potting soil doesn’t drain well and will cause root rot on succulent and cactus plants.
@@BayleeJae Echeveria are dramatic with watering. They really should only be watered when the bottom leaves are getting soft and wrinkly. It also needs direct sun from a west or south window, otherwise it'll continue to etiolate and also not be able to make use of the water you give it (less photosynthesis = needs less water, and unuseable/excess water leads to rot :x ). If you have hydro pebbles or something like that, it would do better in that than in potting soil (you can look up "echeveria in the wild" and it'll bring up a bunch of photos of them growing on rocks). Most commercial cactus mixes will still have too much potting soil in them. Better to get straight up pumice or clay (bonsai "soil"). I have a few and water them only once every 3-4 weeks (all in seramis clay, in a south-facing window). It may need to be gradually acclimated to more and more light, especially if it was away from a window for a while when it was in the bouquet, and eventually you could put it outside in the summer (as long as temps stay above 10C at night). As someone else said, you can propagate the fallen leaves, but instead of sticking them in soil I recommend just laying them flat on top of a shallow dish/tray of soil and just spraying the soil/tips when it dries out. This lets you monitor the progress of root/pup growth and prevents rot. Hope this helps (and sorry for the wall of text lol)!
edit: And if it croaks, sempervivum ("hens and chicks") are a similar-looking but MUCH easier succulent to take care of, if you want to try! They come in various colours, and they're winter-hardy even in Canada. Though if you get the hang of echeveria, you would probably like the "Pearl of Nurnberg" variety (pastel purple/pink).
My manufacturer wraparound my Washis in wax paper and prints an sticker label on them! It does cost me like 20 cents more per washi because I order 50 rolls only haha but it’s in option!

@@BayleeJae I know this probably isn’t helpful at all because I assume you order everything wholesale: but I have seen pastel pink and green ones at Michaels Craft Store. I’m not sure if they sell wholesale at all, so sorry if they don’t!
Why not get stickers made big enough to cover most of the glassine envelope? Like the bun ones but bigger? Least then you can change them up as you release new themes without too much commitment! 💙

im sure someone has said this already but just in case they haven't, be careful with those magnetic balls! If one of the kitties swallows two, they can cause major damage to the internal organs!

someone probably already commented that but that succ needs a lot of sunlight ! when they "grow", they actually are reaching for light. also, be careful to not keep the dirt wet as the roots can rot. they usually live in desert so a lot of sun and only water it when the soil is completely dry and/or when the leaves are squishy. have fun !

For the succulent give it a wee misting and a little drizzle of water in the soil once every 4 weeks when it's colder/darker and every 2 weeks when it's sunny and warm. Keep it at the window where you get the most sun :) been keeping them for almost a decade and that has never failed me.

There will definitely be moving & decorating vlogs! It will be a slow, gradual process since we can't furnish & decorate the whole house in one go.

It might be too late for this depending on how you handle the plastic from the washi rolls, but you could possibly save that plastic and cut it to reuse it for single washi orders, so that way none of the dust would get on the edges
I do not have the time to make my own envelopes/sleeves like that. I would rather use a glassive sleeve in that case, but that is also more time consuming than getting the manufacturer to shrink wrap them.

Im alittle excited if you move to Calgary, I use to live in airdire witch is like 30mins away. Now I live an hour but it's still exciting
Be sure to not give the succulent too much water, because they will start to "rot". Put them in a sunny place, but not in direct sunlight and only water them when the earth has been dry for like a few days. When in doubt rather not give them water for a few extra days instead of giving too much! Hope that helps

I don’t know if you’ll even see this but for the Washi, I have seen others get them from the manufacturer in little individual boxes. A bit more bulky, but you wouldn’t have to sleeve them and no plastic.
Happy house hunting! Hopefully, it's not as crazy as it in America when you go house hunting. We had houses go on the market and disappear the same day. Actually, the house I am in right now was bid on by us the same day it was listed.

Baylee! I can't believe you cut all those vinyl prints! That's the worst! When I worked in printing we would charge $3 per custom cut on something like that. So it would be $12 to custom cut each one out. We charged that way because we would only have 2 or 3 people on staff and it would take up so much time. It was labor intensive and some people knew that and would pay it.

Are you sure you can’t find a printer that does cut-to-size for the vinyl, with trimmed edges for the finishing? I used to work for a large format printing company (not Canada sorry) and they allowed that.
How do you find inspiration for your art and stay motivated to finish it?
Inspiration comes from all the media I consume and the experiences I have. As for motivation to finish, most of my art is done in a couple days. The oil paintings take a lot longer, but due to breaks waiting for layers to dry, I enjoy coming back to them. There does come a point where I get sick of them if it drags on too long, but usually I don't get to that point.
would it be easier if you get bins and just fill the orders in the bins with the postage sticker in the bin and then package them without having to reach and see what they ordered and everything?

Water the plant from the bottom try not to let water sit in between the leaves.

When you water your succulents try not to get water on the leaves it will cause them to "rot". they like a dry environment.
The succulent doesn’t like water on its leaves and it is growing taller to reach for the light. Maybe put it closer to a window.
Isn’t there still that running theory where we still think your house is haunted? I’m still going with it was ghosts.
I was a little concerned that an unsavory character might jump you outside, but then I saw the knife. Go for the tentacles first!
Don't touch the leafs on the succulent too much, (if people touch my succulents leafs too much they fall off later or start to rot) and they like sun a lot, just make sure it doesn't get burned ofc, I would also try not to get the water on the leaves IF you put it in a sunny window, as plants can get sunburned and water makes it much much worse :)
Ive had mine for 5 years now, they are easy to care for if you give them water twice a week (do not over water and let them dry out in the top dirt before watering again) and you can always take the leafs that falls off and stick it in the dirt as other people also say, they sprout fast :)
And yes keep spinning it around so it has to bend towards the sun else you get a plant like mine who just leans down to all sides haha

That succulent isn't suppose to grow taller, it's trying to reach a better light source and the droopy leaves screams overwatering wince they store water in their leaves, so it might be too much for it. I hope this helps

It's all from my social media following, primarily RUclips since this is where I document what I do each day. I haven't ever paid for advertising.
I've probably consumed way more oreos than any person should in a lifetime (imagine diabetes 😔), so I consider myself a bit of an expert. But I can't figure out if the birthday cake oreos are good or not. What's your take on this important matter, Baylee?
I almost never buy Oreos, but the birthday cake ones are so good!! They taste like Dunkaroos.

My good friend runs White Squirrel - it’s a company that specializes in storage, package assembly and shipping to customers instead of you doing it. They are great and make the lives of artists so much better! I can send a link if you are interested.
I enjoy doing it myself, and my whole channel is based on me running my shop. If I outsource the work, I will have nothing to do or film, haha.
