Can't wait to see more of the new house as it comes together! I can tell this house is a big upgrade especially for the wearhouse!! Im honestly so excited to continue to see the house and all the progress that comes along with it. On the shelves you could put a peg board on the end and add like hooks and do your charms on them so you could organize them by grades like you do and tier them
That's been the plan all along, hehe. Well, the peg board part. Not the charm part.
Gosh Baylee Jae, I remember over a decade ago when you were living in student housing?! or something ?! and showing us your desk and all your art supplies now you have a work station. It just jogged my memory. Wow !!! What an amazing progress. I have been watching all of it. I had to come back today becuase I am going to school for digital media design. I too want to learn surface pattern design. Well I have been doing art all my life but to actually get closer to selling my art publicly. I love to create with needle and thread and sew and make art quilts and embroider. I am learning how to draw and creat digital repeat patterns. You have been a main inspiration. Thank you so much. contact paper doesnt work great on this type of wood
Moving vlogs and seeing things come together highkey lowkey so much fun, I wouldn't mind a bunch of timelapses and like "decorate with me" short vlogs haha

Hey, suggestion, you could use the one side of the large shelves next to the door & the end caps as a "Wall" of sorts & just cover it with large canvases. It's the perfect place and way to display your artworks. Infact you can even kinda hang smaller canvases for the large area next to the doorway. Just a suggestion, I also have no wall space to display & have had to get creative for displaying my art. ;-)!

Warehouse shelving = adventure playground for kitties 😆 Love the color of the shelves - perfect for your decor. The packaging/shipping work desk is a dream. House move = multiple daily trips to Home Depot/Lowes/Target etc. Matching electric bulbs to fittings is a nightmare.
I just can't get over your new home. It is so beautiful and that view! What an upgrade for you guys. Gives me hope that one day the home buying process will bring us this. Can't wait to see you continue to put it all together!

On that end of the shelf with no peg board, you could put a 2x6 on the side of it and cover it in sisal rope or carpet for the cats to climb on and put a couple of beds up there for them.

So excited for you guys! I remember when I first moved into our home with my mom 12 years ago. It's exciting watching the furniture fill up the spaces, and be able to arrange things exactly how you dreamed it would be. Kitties will feel better too once the familiar stuff is settled in.

I moved states (in germany) exactly a year ago and Im super invested on ur moving journey so I welcome aaaalll the moving content. For me it was such a difficult time, so seeing others go through it and see how you do things and handle situations helps me to learn for the future 😅 but also helps me feel better for having struggled so much ❤️
During that time Evan & Kaitlyn were also moving which was very helpful 🙂
Ughh same! I moved countries (to Switzerland) two years ago and it was so hard, almost traumatic! It’s healing to watch other people handle it differently (better than me lol), I could watch this type of content for hours 😍

I moved from Puerto Rico to Germany in 2018 and just when I was getting comfortable had to uproot and move states. 😭 I was so depressed during the whole entire thing. Its been a year and my house is still disorganized and theres Ikea furniture we havent mounted 🤦🏻♀️
@@Keish03 Sending virtual hugs, I hope you feel a bit better now! It’s really so tough to do this type of big move, really depressing! My first international move was in 2004 to France, and then this last one to Switzerland you’d imagine it would be smoother but nope, it was even harder 😅 I guess I’ll just live in this country for the rest of my life because there’s no way I’m doing this again!

Well I have to tell you that I’m in the USA disabled pretty much homebound (retirement center) because of Covid and people not wearing masks big outbreaks here ….. so I just recently found Diamond art painting and subsequently found your artwork there (purchased some already) you and Hannah Lynn !!!!! Before you started to paint, I wondered if instead of painting the particle board of the shelves, you could somehow cover them in a strong, but thin fabric. But i really like the color combination.
I’ve come to the realization that most of my projects, I spend a good chunk of the time thinking about it, and figuring out challenges.

For the monitor situation: you could get one of the bars that the mount attaches too, and attach the bar along the back edge of the desk, then you can mount the monitors anywhere along the desk

My partner and I just moved at the end of June into our first house and everything you're saying about wanting to do this or this and feeling like you should be doing this instead: Its excatly how I felt! lol I felt like I should be unpacking the kitchen or bedroom stuff, but I all I wanted to do was set up my bookcase, my gaming computer and art desk to my goth girl aesthetics xD The physical exhaustion of it all is crazy, I will never move without movers again lol. Im so excited to see everything all set up down stairs though! Your storage area is painted the color of trees and I cant wait to watch it "grow" :D

My desk lamp has the same bulb as the little one you said came from your living room. I bought 2-pack on Amazon 3 years ago and haven't used the second bulb yet!

We had blinds like that in our house and I've replaced every single one of them except for one set is left in my youngest daughter's room. They were just way too heavy/clunky. I went to Lowe's and bought Lenovo? blinds and had them cut them to size in store. They are cordless, light weight and black out as well. In the summer they help keep the heat out and in the winter block out some of the chill as it "locks" it in between the window and the blind. :)

You should look at getting cellular day/night or top down bottom up shades. They would be functional for you in the warehouse and you can get them in a sage color and the back side would be white which is nice for keeping the outside of the home looking neutral (unless you get a sheer fabric, it would be the same color). Check them out!
While you were talking about the big shelves, i got the idea of you getting a little cart to keep at the middle section. Im not sure what you’ll be storing on them but if someone orders a lot of the heavier stuff you could use the cart to bring them over to the packing station. It may also be useful to place multiple orders on there with an order sheet. Obviously this is only a suggestion, do ya stuff how ya want. Anyway, I am enjoying watching you put together your new home!
