Jay Nady was a bit harsh, but Eastman was doing a lot of sneaky and subtle holding and hitting; good on Nady to catch it and do something about it. Nady in general though has always been a bit too strict about holding, which is part of the sport.
The ref started harassing Eastman seconds into the fight. The Larry Hazzard style of refereeing is alive and well here... The stooge ref didn't even wait until the fight was a minute old before going into his Larry Hazzard (harass the designated loser and stop him from fighting) act. Disgusting.
Joppy threw his jab like Ali, snapping the glove like a wet towel. I thought they made that illegal. His jab kinda looks like Ali’s, nothing close to the actual Ali jab just the way he throws it.
