We're in the racing phase now. I've been so stoked to see your progress finally culminate into actual track time. I can't be alone in wanting to see you push that car to its limit competetively. Much respect from Toledo.
tbh i just wanna see it atleast get used.. With Robs drivingskills, he will never get near the limits of that car, but probobly often over the limit...
These videos are just so wholesome and not like forced or can tell it’s sooo organic. Just love seeing behind the scenes and love the respect of one another. And thank you Rob for being such a great ambassador of USA Motorsport truly thank you
Rob it was aweesome to meet you at WTAC. I feel like if I didn't walk away you would have spoken to me for hours..some guy you don't even know! Absolute legend mate and Australia was lucky to have you here. If you bring the 4 rotor, I'm getting a corporate box haha.
"Should I bring the AWD 4 Rotor RX-7 to World Time Attack in Australia?" UHH yep, I’ve been watching your videos long before the build of the 4-rotor, and I’ve always wanted to see this car in person. I’ve never been to World Time Attack either, so the idea of seeing the 4-rotor and meeting (in my opinion) the best automotive RUclipsr makes going next year even more exciting for me!
Rob, it's good to see you down here in Australia. Fantastic photos of my hometown, I made that trip from Circuler Quay to Manly and back again every day. Hopefully they next time you come to visit us here in OZ you can bring your car.
great having a chat, also signing my steering wheel and having my 20b rx7 in your video, so cool, can't wait for you to return with the 4 rotor or/and 3 rotor rx7
If Rob ever stops doing car stuff he definitely has a job as a travel vlogger. The whole tourist section of the video was great and the edit+music was excellent.
@@yveuh1267 yea definitely not a show car them are a dime a dozen the 4 rotor is a one of a kind race car that would cost a fortune to replace...whole lot of risk imo
@@_EZ710_ Nobody here want that to happen obviously. But I also think Rob would do a revised 2.0 version with all the knowledge he is getting, that surely would be even better. But yeah, we want to see the 4 rotor PUSHING!
Hey brother. Super stoked to be seeing you coming into the racing phase of this journy. Let's see a couple more sick ass travel vlogs too though. You've been killing yourself to get where you are. Keep working hard, but take your wife on a trip to France for Lemans, take her to Germany and go drive the nurburgring, come to the mid west and do road America (but let me know when you're here so I can watch). We want to see years more of dahm content, and while we all know your THRIVE under pressure, you've made it. You aren't trying to prove that you can get there, you're there. Take the time to make the most of it. I know you will continue to grow the channel, the company, and the race team, but get some time in for you and your family so you can grow without burning yourself out. Much love bro.
they have many more of them over there that are equally if not more impressive. 3/4/5 rotors just going bonkers. not dissing the dahm 4 rotor but the aussies have it down.
@@buriedintimeand the Mad Kiwis too , just look at Mad Mike , combined Australia & New Zealand have it all and it was Australia and Pac Performance that put Rotors and Billet Rotors on the World Map but yes Rob is the only one with a 12 Rotor monster . ❤
The cool thing about tying them together like that is you could have them fire or pulse them at any point to create a totally different sound through the exhaust
if you had the chance, you should have gone to Mount Panorama in Bathurst. It's a couple of hours West of Sydney so it's highly unlikely you wouldn't have been able to go just for one day but seeing one of Australia's most iconic racetracks would have been an experience for you.
i was hoping to see if you got to see the Quokkas, i'm SO glad you got to interact with them hahaha, must've been a very fun experience at that zoo and of course the rest of the trip there in Australia
i'd absolutely love to see that trip. You might want to hit up StanceWorks who took his ferrari 308 there last year. Great content and the Australian car people seemed to be even more awesome then regular car people.
yes, but please finish the project properly, like cover the driveshaft and make the interior look nice in terms of motorsport use and finish the engine bay. its an awesome project for sure, it just looks a little bit unfiinished. 100% safety first, function second, and looks/asthetics for last.
the lack of safety is absurd he should not be racing anything yet. make it safe, not just the driveshafts but also the fuel system, and a fire system... i love what Rob is doing but seeing the 3 rotor go to pikes peak with every effort made for performance and next to non for safety... i dont know what the process was but dont ever do that shit again. make it safe, then fast.
How is this a question Rob? The answer is YES!!! Even if you sent the 3 rotor out to compete in WTA I wouldn’t be against that mate. Please come back and bring a car as I couldn’t make it this year.
thats alot of car for alot of track , its not that rob cant do it, but the risk wouldnt be worth the reward . also its easier to schedule for australia bc theres a extremely small chance of rain as oppose to the ring which is likely to get rain and would defeat the whole purpose of going
Renting Nurburgring for one car is almost impossible or cost is horrendous and trackday with this car is not worth because you can’t go full attack during trackday 🤷🏻
Next time you're down this way, come in early/mid October and come check out the Bathurst 1000 race. See if you can get a lap during the weekend at speed. Track is also a public road. ;) you'll love it.
Thinking on that 2+2 rotor as a way to complicate things but also potentially making something cool. Instead of solid mounting 2 motors together somehow mounting a lock up torque converter between the 2 engines allowing for free reving between engines with the potental to lock up the 2 motors. While moving the throttle of the first motor could be used as an antilag system without disconnecting the drive from the rear wheels possibly allowing antilag while going around a corner on a twin turbo set up potentially with a valve between the 2 systems or on a compound set up with waste gates or valving to force air around when needed
I would have been all about the 4rotor having 1st claim to all.....but....after all the insane work done to the 3rotor, I'm voting for that one to go to Australia.
Of course what kind of question is that brap brap
Is Brap Brap the "gang-gang" of Dahm viewers? I'm here for it
LMAO
This comment is wild😂
It is for me😂@@hambo6713

You should put a 13b in the trunk of the 12 rotor to run the fuel pump and alternator
cant tell if this is a joke or not
Another one for start.
And another one for reverse
I started laughing at this and stopped when I realized that might just be necessary... 😅 fuck, that motor is gonna be wild

Add the Crown Range to that list.
Great episode Mate . Thanks for the great footage promoting Australia . Your a good bloke .

The absolute joy that i felt when Rob finally said Haltech correctly is scary.
I don't know what is more scary: seeing Rob driving Pikes Peak full tilt or a friggin EMU STARING INTO MY SOUL!!! 😲😲😲😁😜
Happy to see Erica is still around. Good for you guys!
