lots of marketing fluff here - more useful would have been discussing the strengths and weaknesses of each unit, and talking about the use cases they are best suited for. if you can’t do that, at the very least talk about SPL and not wattage.
Kali IN-5’s are great 3 way monitors (their midrange is said to be phenomenal). The IN-8’s are good three way monitors too, but have some self noise that some find bothersome (not as much of a problem if you are using them as midfields, but can be an issue if you have them placed too close to your listening position). I’m going to be getting the IN-5’s with Kali’s subwoofer, so I get the low end (down to 23 Hz) without the self noise. The IN-5’s only cost about $350 USD each ($700 for the pair). The IN-8’s cost about $400 USD each.
You are mistaken in claiming (at 9:15) that there's a difference between the KRK Classic 5 and the older Rokit 5 G3 because the Classic 5 has a "Flat" response position for both LF and HF. Well, looking at my Rokit 5 G3, both the LF and HF controls have the same number of click-stop positions for these controls as the Classic 5. The only difference (which really isn't one) is that the Rokit 5 G3 labels them "0db" and the KRK Classic labels them "Flat". Same thing.
@@alexandertheguitarist well thats difficult to say. I did not tested the Hs7. I'm really happy with them. They improved my mixes so much. You cant go wrong with them. I think the LP 8 are even better when you dont have a sub. I use the LP6 with a sub.
The Rokit G4s have dsp and an app to control them and are more expensive. They also come in 5 inch, 7 inch, 8 inch, and 10 inch, they are also bi-amped while the classic 5s have a single amplifier. The classic 5s also only come in 5 inch. I have the classic 5s and they are very good. I have a friend with the Rokit 7s though and they sound a bit better. The Rokits also have so many more controls because of the small screen.
@@soulfulmusictime3315 I haven’t done it to my speakers, but I think on the inside of the amplifier there is a small switch to disable it. You may want to look it up. I hope this is what you were asking.

You should never ever trust vendors when buying speakers (ot anything else for that matter). They will never tell you any real drawback of a particular product (of course), like i.e. Presonus monitors have cheap quality amps that hiss like crazy when there’s no signal present. I bought E5 BT and returned it after a week. The real value would be Focal Alpha Evo 50 for 250 euros per speaker. Beautifully made, sonically superior to any of these. KRK is known for capacitors issues, Presonus for hiss….. etc.

I'm beating my brains since morning and even one guy asked the same on another channel....in these Monitors the Sound is being sent over from the Active to the Passive speaker....so where is the circuit for Actual Stereo Separation? Like in my 1975 Pioneer Stereo Receiver?

Do a studio subwoofer review with these brands but, include the Kali Audio WS12 this time in your comparison.!

Hola, ¿Consideras que el krk rokit 5 g3 es lo mismo que el krk classic 5?
Missing the Kali LP 6. They sound amazing
no 5h!+ best one not present
Its because they don’t sell them I think. I’m looking at getting monitors, would you recommend them over the HS7s?

@@rocktonmusikschule yeah I’m really tempted to get them!
LP6's also suck on build quality, noise and overall power
What about Kali Audio LP6? Any reason why they didn't make this list?
That's what I'm wondering! Even JBL 3 series are good budget monitors. The 104BT's kick ass! LP6's are excellent with the Mackie ProFX mixers.
wow guys, this was well done thanks!
Which speaker is best for mixing metal.. Black or death
Krk Classic 5 or Eris E5? For hip-hop production
The Eris E5 are legendary in my opinion.
have you tried the others?
Thanks for the video.

Wild that the HS7 is $700 now
Where can I get HS7 for under $500? thanks
My bad you say POUNDS not DOLLARS !!
You did a nice review. In my opinion in the middle of this price I would buy Monkey banana monitors. Sound much more balanced
Can anyone recommend Ayra For trap , and hip , basically for 808 bass ?
