Just stumbled on your channel and was looking at these speakers online. I recently started a home studio for video editing and am building the sound with monitor speakers. I must admit, KRK have taken my attention and I have the ROKIT5-G4. Am now going to invest in these GoAux3 as I usually go out to my clients for review on some of the videos am working on for them. will follow you on your next uploads for more tips. Keep up the great work. :-)

Great review, thanks a lot. I'd like to use these babies with my Roland FP10 digital piano as a midi controller and PIanoteq as the sound app for being able to choose among different great pianos (Steinway, Bechstein, etc.). I saw that yourself are using a digital piano. How are the pianos ounds on these KRK? Do you think I could use them as a PA system while I'm playing?

Did you plug that straight into your laptop's headphone jack?

Hi, thanks for the video and explanation.
I’m in search of a very good speaker system to listen to music with that HiFi sound output with my laptop. Do you think this are the best?? Thinking they are smaller and fit perfect in a small desk.
    Thank you!

Monitors aren't the same as tuned stereo speakers.

I think the reason they made the cable that links the monitors so long is because its proprietary to KRK. Now if the cable was too short...Where would you go to find that exact cable in a longer version? Only to KRK themselves. They would need to mass produce all these cables for only the two models of monitors that use the connection and hope people buy them. Giving more cable was probably a better way to go. As of now with the Goaux 3 and 4 the replacements are not even listed on the site so defiantly dont lose it, and if you have the 4 dont lose the ARC mic either.

Looks to be a standard 4-pin motherboard connector, but I could be wrong.

I thought the same thing, but it seems smaller. The plastic that houses where the pins meet the female connection. Pretty sure you can probably rig it up...but the average joe?

Not a big fan of power save mode that puts it to sleep especially the times I go outside to walk my dogs for 45 mins and have to press buttons on speaker themselves to wake it wish it would automatically wake up when I bring my computer off of sleep mode and login I wish it too would wake up automatically with me needing to push button each time

I bought a pair of these, listened to them for 10 minutes, put them back in the bag and started a return. As the review mentions: the power cable is insanely short, the speaker connect is insanely long. As much as I knew this was going to annoy the hell out of me, the truth is I'm coming from the audiophile world and I simply hated the flat sound.
I *know* the flat sound was the point of buying them but I'm just a guy who wants to mess around with some music, why do I care about mixing for other people? So, I decided to stick with what I already had, which is a Bose Companion 3.
as a PS: the insanely short power lead means you're going to have to take an extension lead with you, kind of cuts down the portability of the package.
