Wow, this cooking set has been around several years. I was looking at stoves on EBay and bought the set for $28 dollars. It included a stove in the orange box, two cooking pots, a small wooden spatula, the 3 utensils in a little carrying case and a scrub sponge. My set did not come with the black spork or the stand for the canister. The mesh cover holding all this together is sturdier than the funky one that came with my SOTO stove. The eating utensils I'll take to work with my lunch because the spoon is not that deep for eating soup or cereal. Also they are not as light as titanium utensils which I have. The stove is a tad heavy and will serve as a back up. It does work with the piezo igniter. built in and can go from simmer to a blow torch. I follow Murphy's rule so I always carry storm matches in case the igniter fails. You get a lot of stuff for the money. I would recommend it.
DS200 set without stove April 2019 $11 shipping included. I use with a hot plate traveling. Paired with a travel hot pot for hotel or car camping. Alcohol stoves on eBay $2 for outdoor cooking. Also, never use hotel appliances or mugs, etc. I worked at a casino and people have placed bodily fluids and solids in all the things in the room. Coffee pots, hot pots, mugs, glasses you name it, it's held a human waste. Just an FYI.
The base for the fuel bottle is now on my radar to get for my sets that I put together and sell. Good to know they are being made in China. Now I'm on the hunt. Cheers.
Thanks! After a little hunting I found one exactly like it and also found one similar for less money and free shipping on both and will do a review on them both when I get them. I was thinking the bottles needed a larger base and if I had a 3D printer, I'd make my own. Now I can buy them and put them with my kits to sell the public. Cheers!
Ouch! I just ordered the 10 piece set - no base for the fuel, no folding utensils, but I sure enough got a wooden spatula (eating tool?) with it. Too bad we weren't neighbors. I like the base (sells for $10 BTW) and your folding metal set. Guess we need both, then will even have a back-up stove lol.

Lol. I've never held the sterno kit out of the package, but I like the two piece orange box for the stove better than the green 'easy to lose in the woods', living plastic hinged one that I saw with the sterno kit at dunhams sporting goods. Thanks for watching!

I think by now you have answered your own question. Any iso/butane canister with a screw valve will work with this stove. The only difference is the price, +/- $1.

I bought this set but was afraid to ignite it due to it's cheap price, (I thought it might explode), so thanks for the video. Now I'll try it out.

thanks the reviews, but i have seen it has been upgraded or something else, there is no the black spork, add a wine opener and a carabiner

Cynthia Wigington it's definitely worth it to have a couple stoves like this rattling around! Two is one and one is none!
