I’ve been loving your Jinjer reactions because they’re one of my favorite bands. I also love Billie! I had tickets to see both last year before COVID. I’m not sure what you mean by “dirty” exactly. If you mean something more raw and live, I’d recommend her Radio 1 performance of “The End of the World”. Or “Bellyache” live from Like a Version. Both are stripped back musically with just her and her brother. There’s so much vulnerability in her voice. At the same time, she has such a metal attitude. There’s so much to love about her. I was struck by her a few years ago, and was hooked... But like you I really prefer the down and dirty, imperfect sound with all the feeling just right there... Not really what she does, but if you listen to here early stuff,even ocean eyes at I think thirteen or so, you'll see she is indeed very talented. Her big hit is I think called tough guy, but try bury a friend.. and another I can't remember offhand where she bleeds black ink from her eyes in the vid.

If the song didn’t grab you, it’s because you weren’t paying attention to the lyrics. Which is a shame. Also not sure why you’d choose this weird video instead of the official video, with the studio recording. The backing vocals round it out so much better.

Jo jag kan industrin och många får exakt vad dom vill ha. Jag fick för mig att hon och brodern gjorde musiken tillsammans och iomd hade stor kontroll över produktion etc. Bury a friend i inspelad och kommer uppladdas rätt snart.

I'm not big into jazz, but I think her most jazzy songs are probably Wish You Were Gay, My Future, and Bitches Broken Hearts.

She isn't my favorite artist, but she has a good voice and some good songs.
