True, but think, if we were always good or always the best, then we'd have nothing to aim towards. Nothing to look forward to. It would be boring. I've always firmly believed that it's often better to be the underdog than the favourite.
great stuff but you will need to update with some recent stuff...George Thomas at Wembley for checkatrade and jordon and jack from play off finals 2018 I suggest x
Cyrille Regis vs Everton on the last day of the 1984-5 season to keep City in the First Division (great escape season). Kilcline headed over to Regis who headed in. I was at that game.
big oggy for scoring a goal from kick out against shitefield wednesday if i remeber correctly ? that was back in the day ..correct me if im wrong but we'll still sing together...
Missing. The goals from the 4-1 FA cup win at Orient in 1973, and the 4-2 home win v Everton in December 76. I don't care how good the goals were, I'd like to see them again (they were both on BBC) as they mean so much to me, and one day will also do so to all CCFC fans when the club disappears.
Now, or in general? Too many to choose from, over the years. My personal favourite is and always will be Dion Dublin. Best goal scorer and leader we had for a long time.
Tommy Hutchinson was pure class, Dion Dublin was a wonderful player and Robbie Keane was fantastic. Out of all our great players, those three are true shining stars.
Great goals and memories it's so sad now looking back to where we are now
Sad where Coventry are, even more sad to see how modern football are. The sport has gone.

I was at a lot of these actual games.SISU has destroyed the soul of the club since they took over.
fucking beautiful , from a scottish sky blue
Keith Houchen's header.
It's STILL too sublime for words it really is.
Some absolute beauties in there and such great memories of an era past
R.I.P CCFC
Great collection, thank you!
A younger fan here: it’s sad to see these for me as i never got to experience any glory days of my club, looking up now though hopefully
