What a fantastic short film.I am proud to be Coventry born and bred!
You made an old lady cry. Idolised so many of those players growing up. Coventry in the 70s and 80s was such a hard place to live, and the only thing that made us smile sometimes was CCFC. I really thought we were gone when we were back in League 2 (the old Division 4). I can’t believe we’re back where we are, and kids from the city can feel proud of their team again, a team that makes them smile no matter how hard life is. I can’t thank Mark Robins and all the staff and new owners enough. If they knew what they’d done for this city… 💙

My first football game i everr went to was cov v bitmighmam.when i was 6 years old at highfield road from scotland ! went to mamy a game after that due to my uncle being a city fan , got to meet the players in the dressing room before it , happy memories xx

Great memories..one of my favourites there was Terry Gibsons hat trick completing goal in 83 against Liverpool..i was 15 years old and sitting in the main stand and that was the start of a love affair for me..
Fabulous video, memories of our glory days bring a tear to the eye. Hopefully we will be seeing that again shortly. JC

What’s to be gained from that, now? The club still exists because of sisu! They’ve not made it easy for themselves, the club and certainly the fans and have slowly learned the hard way on how to run a club. With a 10 year deal now at the CBS and the way they’ve supported MR re recruitment, we’re not breaking any ffp rules like many other clubs are. Currently firmly sitting in the top 6 of the championship. The clubs in the best place it’s been for a long long time. The negativity of all the ‘sisu out’ is probably a little unnecessary now tbh. Onwards and upwards!💙👏🏼PUSB
