American here. As a lifelong United fan it was a dream come true to be at this game. Coventry fans really won me over with their support - especially this tune, which I had never heard before. Amazing moment I'll never forget.
As a United fan I’ve been lucky enough to go to Wembley often. This is up there with the absolute best I’ve seen in terms of support. I actively searched this out on here. Fair play 💪🏼
I was there, under the flag, and this was the most incredible day of my life. 70yr old woman, I went on my own, it was amazing to experience the atmosphere and goosebumps when we sang this together as one. #PUSB
Respect to you. I have supported Cov since 1971, although I left England in the 1980's. I'm 3rd a generation Sky Blues/Bantams supporter. There have been more bad times than good, but I found it easier to change nationality than to stop supporting Cov. I had never heard about this song, but it's brilliant. Another Sky Blue Song. PUSB.
People don't appreciate just how beautiful this song is. Heartbreakingly tragic and relatable for the everyday fan.. It should go down as an all time classic..
This sounds really good, as a Brentford fan who been to Wembley few times I find the atmosphere is never that great on the day but this is great effort, sorry it didn't quite happen for you on the day
And then you had a half empty stadium 3 days later against Hull while we had more than 70,000 in the ground. Were you all still waving your plastic flags at Wembley?
Funny- you were given bits of red cardboard to show your allegiance and then they were used as paper airplanes at halftime. You would never know what passion really means. Coventry fans were given real memories and VAR bailed you out and you know it. 70 thousand wallies in the same ground 😂 I prefer 25k that have real love for their club.
Hi Mark! I was there, too. Can we connect offline, do you think, so that I can ask about potentilly using this spine-tingling video in a pre-season video project that I'm planning? It would be a perfect fit. Best wishes! Mark Higgitt
@@markw6142 Thanks, Mark. That's very kind. It's an essential element of what I have in mind (mind you, you don't need to be a brain surgeon to know that)!

Thanks for the comment, Peter. Glad you enjoyed the day. Cov supporters have always been amazing, with the latent support coming out on big occasions

Hats off to coventry Amazing fans and that's from a united fan that went the game we should of lost but it was our day
When you expect to lose but still turn up,get behind your team and give them one hell of a game, respect Coventry FC 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏❤️
Shame most of these glory hunters couldn’t be bothered to turn up to home league games after the cup run was over.
Not everyone can be as hardcore a hero as peterb6053
25,000 at the next game. Take away the Chinese tourists and that's more than turn up to leaky trafford
Do ya research you clown there was 25K+ at the next game, we hit our attendance record at home against Leeds 2 weeks before this game
